  1. I'm up there on Monday!!
  2. Lovely car! What I will probably go for next also! With a few tweaks these are very quick cars as I've experienced in a friends chasing a 991 gt3 round Silverstone! Enjoy

    New additions

I think that is better looking than a leaf
  4. I just kept standard cats and put a cobra resonated on. Still got some extra bhp's with an uprev on standard cats, I didn't want the rasp that comes with hfc's. This is on a HR.
  5. I've had the upgraded Nissan gaskets in my 2008 HR for a year now all is good. As mentioned first signs on the 350 will be oil pressure drop on the pressure gauge, mine was reading about 10 psi on idle and 60 psi at about 3500 rpm. Now she reads 30 psi hot idle and 60 psi at around 2000 rpm.
  6. Looking at diff guards actually missed that off my list. Like you said probably won't be needing a winch in a hurry especially for green lanes. Raising the breathers is definitely got to be done, not thinking of going too deep with it but in the event we get caught out.
  7. Ok so today was the shakedown run, we have a couple of faults... As expected with a p38. One is the heating/cooling fans inside are intermittent, we think it may be the blend motors inside the dash. And the other is one heated seat doesn't work. Not that it really matters. Air suspension still works even though the nobbly tyres do take away most of the silky smooth ride. Mpg she was returning 21 at 65-70 on the motorway. Around town today she's returning about 18mpg (but that noise doesn't come cheap) We did take her round some lanes today so far very impressed. Winch and rock sliders are on the list for first purchases https://vimeo.com/154509639
  8. Ok just got home after a long drive back from Cardiff. Here are a couple of pics. More will follow tomorrow
  9. To start with I won't be going too mad with it I realise they aren't the best through water etc so deep stuff will be avoided. If I enjoy it that much I may end up selling and changing to something a bit more suitable. Is there a specific website you can look up all the green lanes in the area with driving times of the year? Cheers
  10. I went for the p38 just because it was the cheapest v8 I could find. It was £1500 all in with a 10 month mot. The disco's for that price weren't doing it for me. I just like the idea of having some fun on the lanes then wafting home in it. That is if it doesn't break.... 😕
  11. Ok so I just put a deposit down on a p38 Range Rover 4.6 HSE. Purely for use off road and green lane. She's got full service history (Land Rover) 18 stamps 125k. Air suspension still works.... Off road tyres already fitted with a sump guard and some metal bumpers to take a winch. Anyway I will be picking it up Saturday so pictures and more info to follow.
  12. As above, on the lookout for a very clean set in silver. ðŸ‘ðŸ»
  13. Think this was the same one I followed today out of flitwick shell roundabout going towards the flying horse roundabout. Around 2pm.
  14. I have been humming and harring about getting one of these for a while now. What are your opinions on these over a standard 182. Are they worth the extra? In terms of performance and future return? I will be buying for the long term. The odd trackday and summer weekend toy. Thanks in advance Ross
  15. I would say about 9k. As long as it's been well serviced that mileage on a HR is nothing.
  16. This http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201506164377522
  17. I think the HR will be the one to have in the future as it's the last of the run.
  18. Or Nissan realised they had a problem with the oil gallery gaskets blowing out on the HR and early 370 engines so decided to put in a temp gauge instead so you would never realise that pressure had dropped.
  19. Looks like a cobra back box 😉 bet that sounded decent
  20. Grey zed on a 54 plate going up ampthill hill. Didn't see you until you were along side ha!
  21. Too warm down here in the south for any of that stuff yet
  22. Try polishing that out of the paint rather than wax. For the wheels I would try a good wheel cleaner i use dragons breath which I've found good. The clicking noise does sound like axle mine done it the same in all gears up to fourth I think you just can't hear it after that from wind noise. What's the mileage on the car?
