  1. Just flirt with the girls - works every time Me gestua las chicas bonitas!
  2. Being 1/2 French, when I studied Spanish at school and later went to spend a lot of time in Spain for work (Mallorca and Barcelona mainly) it all came back to me. Now, entiendo bastante bien pero no hablo tan bien! It's great to learn a second or multiple languages - it really helps in life, but also in business. It can help break the ice a little, or at least make you stand out a little. Furthermore, when you go abroad you can blend in and keep apart from all the embarrassing English louts on holiday! Well done and keep it up!
  3. I think your Zed looks awesome.
  4. Yeah definitely not spending a penny, it's just the clever buggers know you cannot complete the game without it!
  5. Have you spent any money yet? I have managed to avoid it by playing old levels against friends to earn bonus points, but it's getting to the stage now where it's getting tough to earn enough money to upgrade or buy new cars! Oh and you're too good at that bloody game!
  6. Welcome! As a fellow biker, it does surprise me how elitist some people can be. Though one of my friends had no concept of how fast bikes can be, and despite having a bmw 335 he was gobsmacked at the pace of a bike on full chat! The zed isn't supposed to be a bike beating vehicle, it's a great GT, comfortable, with enough power to make you grin, and a soundtrack that makes you want to drive it more. Whilst I love bikes, I'd rather be in a zed for a long journey, though for fun sweeping roads it's a tough call!
  7. For under £600 that's bargainastic. Can't really fault it!

    Fuel

Any super unleaded will be fine, the RON/MON ratings are all fairly much of a muchness, and frankly the car's ECU is clever enough to adapt to the microscopic differences in the combustibility of the fuels. Try and keep away from standard unleaded though.
  9. The other benefit, as obvious as it sounds is that they are less restrictive than regular cats.
  10. Borrow Pete's polisher! It's funny how you spot it all the time even though it's not that big a deal. Problem is one starts spotting all the little flaws....
  11. Thanks, I thought it was worth showing what you can do without a DA polisher, but of course the results would have been even better with! That puts mine to shame a little, can you come and redo mine pleased?
  12. My Zed is just a weekend toy - or "after work" toy as I use public transport - however, as a daily driver I'd be to preoccupied to use it - certainly the way people park around London! Personally, I'd use a little rot box that you don't care about - and keep the Zed for fun! Besides, do you want to use the Zed for short little runs in start stop traffic or leave her to eat up the twisties?
  13. Managed to get a Peugeot one in the end - I'm waiting for it to be delivered - I shall update you with how it fits!
  14. So I was faced with a little fogging: Another less clear shot: Some Mags metal polish applied (I went over each headlight about 10 times alternating from circular, to up and down, side to side rubbing. I applied the mags with just a regular cloth, then buffed it out with a microfibre towel. 10x per headlamp! After that I then sealed them with C4 GTechniq. For comparison the right headlamp now looks like this: Came out really well: Here's the after shot for the left headlamp: Another angle: I'm rather happy with how they came out. It would have been easier with a DA polisher though It took about an hour or so to do. However, felt very worthwhile. I just need to do a full detail to get rid of the swirls - that... I'm NOT looking forward to doing!
  15. To add to the controversy, I don't like the rear wiper delete - with the rain at the moment it's useful to be able to see out of the rear window!
  16. Looks good and some cool features, as well as catching up with some of the cooler features of android. I've been both an android fan and apple fan - I like a mixture of both. However, purely for the flexibility and "tweakability" of android, and the fact that I can access my android phone like I can my laptop file system is really important to me.
  17. I live in South East London, near Greenwich/Blackheath. Welcome to the forum! This is a great friendly place.
  18. If it is as you say it was, I'd get whoever fitted (hope you kept th receipt) and show them, they should replace them. I had some eagle f1s on a previous car which disintegrated within 500 miles - showed them to the guys that supplied them (I think it was mytyres.co.uk) I got a free set of replacement and fitting.
  19. Have a read here: http://www.350z-uk.com/index.php?showtopic=51573 On a dyno you record a loss in power, but in terms or real world performance you'll notice little, other than the sound being a lot sexier.
  20. Love that orang Zed with Paedo bear poking up!
  21. Just turn off the traction control - it never shows up then.....
  22. Pop charger if you want to add some sexy noise at the cost of a little power. Plenum spacer is worth doing too if you're going to get it remapped in the future. Also, if you have a pre 2006 airbox, get flyboy's velocity stack too - but you don't need to if you change the air intake with a pop charger. The bulge is the HR model I believe where it went through a little facelift.
  23. The 80s were awesome for excessive gore and plenty of boobs in movies.
