Moved down from Hertfordshire last year, and looking for a good service centre. Car has been serviced at a Nissan dealership all its life. Nearest Nissan dealer is Vospers in Plymouth - any good or bad reviews or comments?
-
How is old Hertfordshire? My 'name' is the clue, the only thing I miss is Costco! Been gone a year now. Welcome and enjoy. í ½í¸„

Since new, an average of 167 miles per month. Since August last year - about 30 miles. It's so difficult to fit a NHS wheelchair in a zed..... not to mention drive with two broken legs! The things you do when you retire, obviously not clocking up the miles on the zed. Probably driven to the moon and back several times in company cars, vans, coaches, buses and motorcycles.

I 'think' you will find that with the current fly-by-wire aircraft a pilot cannot just 'dive' the aircraft into the ground. It won't let you. So the decent aspect he dialled in was the the steepest the plane would allow him do so, close to if not the actual emergency decent parameters.
-
I didn't say they were fully trained, just 'able' to do so.
-
FYI all El-Al cabin crews are able to fly the type of aircraft they are assigned to.

Now you've got one and live down here in the back of beyond, you might consider this:- http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/95380-breakfast-meet-sunday-29th-march/ Every time I try to go these days I end with a serious attack of arthritis....... so this time I'll wait till the last minute before committing. I'm Saltash so it's a good 2hrs+.

There's one near me - RAF Davidstow Moor........ http://www.thisisnor...ow_airfield.jpg Lots of sheep and wild ponies...... ^ Yeh right!
-
Retired, and enjoying it too.
-
I used this guy, cant easily find him on the web anymore though. I think Will has hit the nail on the head in the previous post.

A38 in Saltash, sitting in a lay-by. Couldn't see anyone, and not much there. Needed a clean

This is what you need........... http://www.birdscaring.co.uk/?gclid=CNDF2IXd9cMCFS7MtAodG3IARg Neighbours will love you!

At least the Russian 'Bears' are at a decent height, it's the RAF and the Fleet Air Arm I worry about. 500ft! I don't think so...... The funny thing is that the cows and sheep in the fields out the back don't even blink an eyelid. Absolutely no chance of a photo - even if you had a camera in your hand! Awesome free show most days.

+1 Bought one a month ago and sorted mine out. 09 plate little used.

Entering an airport car park (not wise to say which one) Tuesday morning, as we were leaving. Is there much room in the boot for luggage in a roadster? Only just got back online at home, BT had to repair some overheads! Thank god our electricity is underground as everyone else has there's provided overhead on wooden poles. God bless Cornwall......

Tamiya Ferrari F189 in 1/20th scale that I built.
Shenley replied to GMballistic's topic in Off Topic Discussion
I bought a Tamiya 1/12th scale Ferrari 641/2 F190 many, many years ago, just never had the time to build it, one day perhaps. Has a harness set as standard, but not as small as the 1/20 scale....... -
My 350 from new on an 09 plate and 12,000 does it too. Can't remember a time when it didn't.

Spoke to a dealer yesterday and the "story" is...... RHD production will not commence until September. This is the best bit..... the first 500 are to be made available to Premiership and Champions League footballers, some sort of promotion by Ford. It's not to say all the 500 will be snapped up, but he doesn't know what deal they will be getting. So at the moment it's £1000 down - a special form is filled out then Ford will deal with you direct. To stop you selling your place in the queue. The dealership I spoke to has had 5 confirmed deposits across the the South West, all 'rag tops' and all 5.0L manuals. No take up on the 2.3L and no interest in autos. Most popular colour - grey. So, if you want one, you might get one for March 2016. It's a good "story" ........... (Oh can't sleep- got gout)
-
Tip for Holywood Studios, eat at the Brown Derby Restaurant late in the day, and this gives you priority access to the evening show. Saves queuing - sorry, waiting in line...... Huge queues, and the auditorium can only accommodate about one third of the park guests. You do not have to be staying at a WDW hotel either.
-
WDW has introduced a wrist band system for on site hotel guests. It's very complex and uses a special App. It is the room key, credit card, fastpass access, and everything else. This system allows booking on site restaurants months in advance, and has of course done exactly this - they are all booked up! It's not done without a credit card reservation, but even so there are very few reservations left....... This has caused more queues when checking into WDW on site hotels. Basically they are trying to give more preference to those who stay in thier hotels. Saw a couple of ZR1 FHP cars - no roof lights just ones on the dash/windscreen. Usual place just behind the freeway bridge! You get the idea....

I had a Blackberry Curve that worked, and just got a Nokia Lumia 735, that works too. I just get whatever 'free' phone my wife gets for me....... She had a later model Curve that didn't work though. It had the latest operating system.

Internet is a bit slow in Cornwall.........
