  1. There's a company on fleabay who sell scrubbed btcc slicks and they're not normally too much money. You have to be a bit relaxed with your sizes though as they aren't in so many different widths.
  2. Always start in the middle and work out. A heat gun will work wonders, I have one without a heat control, but I turn it on and just flick the gun over the wrap to warm it a touch. You want a nice bit of stretch to follow the curves and keep creases out, but not so much that the vinyl will want to retract once it cools down. It will take a couple of goes, but it's not too difficult once you get the hang of it
  3. Some people might actually drive their cars (Not intended directly at anyone in particular!)
  4. Worked perfectly when I took it out about 2-3 months ago. It's been in a warm dry loft since.
  5. just as an FYI off the back of this, I couldn't even see the forum existed last night. I tried off a few different devices/browsers between roughly 19:50 and 20:45 ish.
  6. Not the first time I've heard of problems with D1 wheel nuts. The problem with them is that they are made of aluminium and in most forms of Motorsport ali nuts are banned in the rules. Personally I'd always stick to steel nuts. Search on SXOC, Driftworks, The EP3 Civic forum or even google. This was a car which went into Garage D the other week, supposedly all 4 corners were the same.
  7. Sorry, didn't post the pic last night as for some reason I couldn't get on the forum. A pic will be up 6-ish tonight
  8. I had a job interview with them a couple of years ago. Each member of staff must sell 19 tickets a shift or something mad, I wouldn't be surprised if they got heavy discounts from the car dealers as A) It's amazing advertising for them having a car or 2 in the middle of a busy airport for a month and B ) They probably buy a fair few cars off each manufacturer. Reason for edit: removing an accidental smiley
  9. I have one which I'd like to get rid of. It hasn't been un-paired though. I can upload pics tonight if you'd like.
  10. Like those steps a lot! I was interested in some a while a go. They look really smart. In the last pic your paint looks almost satin, quite like that too!

Well according to the new MOT rules which came into effect on the 20th March I think it was, the seat has to move into multiple positions. I can't open the doc on the vosa website, but here it is on the AA one. http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/car-servicing-repair/mot-changes-2012.html The actual bit: "Seats It must be possible to secure the driver's seat fore and aft adjustment mechanism in two or three different positions. On electric seats the motors must move the seat fore and aft."
  12. I'd buy some cheap 17's as skid rims
  13. These sites will show you how options of tyres/alloys will fit a car compared to normal. www.etyres.co.uk/tyre-size-calculator.htm www.willtheyfit.com
  14. Pretty basic, but: http://www.willtheyfit.com/ and www.etyres.co.uk/tyre-size-calculator.htm

I've got a corbeau forza sport in my 350 and its quite comfy. I'm a smidge under 6ft 3 and its ok, I am very skinny though. Corbeau also do 350z specific rails to keep it MOT legal as your seat now has to move forward and back into 2 or 3 different positions. You can also get buddyclub 350z specific rails too. I'm up at pod on the 13th April, so if you want to have a sit in mine you're more than welcome.
  16. for £120 I'd drive up there and wait whilst they did them and then drive back
  17. For anyone who wants a read too: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2299886/Heartstopping-moment-hero-driver-swerves-bus-safety-lamppost-crashes-windscreen-pins-flat.html
  18. Most places charge £60 a wheel for a refurb. It sounds a tad high to me.
  19. What the hell caused THAT! Amazingly lucky guy. Bet that sh*t him up! Wouldn't wish that on anyone.
  20. You can probably get to it if you remove either the sub housing or the behind seat cubby. But having never tried I wouldn't be 100% on that.
  21. Quite a few zeds not too far away. I'm in Woking, quite a few in Croydon and some in north London too

    Toyo T1R

I had some on an A4 I had. Absolutely great tyres, but they are a very soft compound (Part of the reason they are so good) so did wear down quite quickly.
  23. Is that a certain Mr Stannard? Also dude, don't worry about the roadster thing on here, no-one is going to take the p*** or call you gay etc, We just appreciate anything with a Z badge somewhere on it, with the possible exception of: Impreza Leganza Suzuki Jazz Trail Blazer. Looking good, keep us updated
  24. Let me know if you need a friendly MOT tester. I know of 2, one in ash and one in Guildford.
