  1. To be honest, mine is in my garage doing nothing. So if you want it for cheap, make an offer as I have no use for it anyway.
  2. Check there's not a man hiding in your boot. It could be him setting it off
  3. THAT is cheap for this area! Will you rent out the four post ramp and air lines on a daily basis? I'm sure you won't be waiting for long for that to be snapped up. good luck
  4. Thats a spitfire engine! I was thinking that too! Lets step that up a bit then.... How about a Rolls-Royce Trent engine?
  5. You sir, may be solving issues for everyone! Nice work
  6. I've never had mine dyno'd to compare the results so I couldn't comment on it. Unfortunately, as much as I'd love it to change, I don't have a dyno in my behind Would be very helpful though! At the end of the day, dyno figures will tell the truth. I haven't felt a difference, but I could be wrong
  7. "Heat Soak" seems to be very much overrated on this forum. I've had 5 or 6 different air filter styles other than standard across my 3 years of Z ownership, everything from an uprated panel filter (K&N) to at least 4 different types of cone filter (Japspeed cone[for about 2 weeks, don't murder me! ], BMC CDA, HKS Mushroom filter and an Apexi Cone) have I noticed any difference in any of them other than noise? Not really. Has heat soak been a huge engine killing problem? Haven't had any issues, not even at track days on hot summer afternoons. Personally I'd rather have good filtering than .5 of a horsepower extra.
  8. I can see that they are both black, with red rear lights and have a coupé body style. They also both have a recess for a numberplate, wing mirrors, windows and four wheels.
  9. Apexi fitment is perfect. I was shocked at how well it all went together.
  10. The new focus looks huge in my eyes! Cars are getting wider because most people are getting wider too! Personally I cant see any Z in that rcz, except for the 3rd letter of it's name. if you think that's an ugly French sports car, did anyone see the Renault Wind? That was like a Clio and a Sport KA had a cheeky rendezvous at 30mph.
  11. Just point the jets sideways at oncoming traffic and pedestrians....
  12. Or that 6 rotor that PPRE in New Zealand have been making.... MMMMMMMMM
  13. I'm not good with German lumps, but isn't that the engine from the Carrera GT?
  14. I suppose an Aston Martin V12 would look and sound pretty special!
  15. If you could chuck any lump you like into your 350z, what would you pick? If money was endless, for me it would have to be the VK56DE. V8, Nissan made, big power and you could pull one out of the new Titan.
  16. *sighs* Just going to leave this here:
  17. I'm thinking of changing mine, more for the reasons, A) to bring the wheel closer to me using a wheel boss for when I'm in my harnesses, for a smaller diameter for easier handling of it (yes, I'm saying I prefer playing with small objects, yada yada... ) and C) so that when I leave the car parked up on the road at home I can take the wheel out using a removable boss, as it's a theft deterrent if the wheel is in my house. However having said that, if I used my car a lot on the road I'd want to keep the standard one. A solid ring of steel with some high density foam and leather wrapped around it is going to do a lot of damage. I wouldn't want to hit my head on it at walking pace, let alone at car crash deceleration speeds.
  18. I'm a bit late to the thread. But where are you based? I know a guy who does smart repair and he's really good. He is used by most of the main dealers around Northampton, if you'd like I can give you his details.
  19. "He said that he had not meant the post to come across as boastful but had been trying to offer van owners security advice to prevent them becoming victims of crime." What a muppet!
  20. try fleabay US site. You might find some nice aftermarket LHD ones for a nice price
