  1. Everyone is faster on the straight then Yam, think Marquez had the top speed of 220. Dukes have always been fast top end, nothing new there. According to the press when Rossi jumped on Stoners bike to test when he came back to the pits he said, whatever you were paying him wasnt enough, gives a clue to how well Stoner managed on the bike. Perhaps the concessions arent right, we are one race into the season, with a long straight, lets see how it pans out where that extra fuel/speed wont possibly be a factor.
  2. Nothing more than tbe usual Rossi mind games and sour grapes because he couldnt get the Duke to work, imho of course.
  3. Not if you keep the rolling diameter in line with std tyres
  4. Widths wont affect it though, so long as you keep the rolling diameter within reason
  5. I am running a 275 on a 11J, nice stretch without being over the top, 285/295 will be about right, 245 on a 10 will be good too
  6. I must had admit, if 10k was my extra budget, i would stick with the 350 and give it some forced induction To make me want to change i would need 20k or so
  7. Seems to me your changing for the sake of it, if nothing is jumping out at you and making you think, the 350 is up for sale and i am having one of those, i just wouldnt bother
  8. Imho if i was spending an extra 10k it would have to be considerably better to make me want to change, that considerably better could be anything though, performance, spec/trim, looks or a combo of everything etc etc Also looking at your car it doesnt seem to me you will be happy with oem so factor in a load of £ to make changes and its way more than £10k The only thing i will add is, its only a 350z, a very personalised one but hardly like they are rare, so whats the worst that could happen, you change, dont like it and get back into a 350z. Variety is the spice of life and think its good to experience different cars. I had a long stint of Rx7's as did Lmc, the owners are so blinkered about other cars its borderline insanity, i would rather have my Rx7 than a R8 for example, lol. I tried a few alternatives but always came back to Rx7's but my mind was open, i tried a 350z and never gone back, but i am always open to finding something i prefer over the 350
  9. They will be cheap for a reason, so long as your comfortable with that and prepared that the finish will deteriorate easily and quickly they will look good for a while Probably very heavy too so will affect feel of the car.
  10. Great to see the Ducatis up the sharp end again, more so for the whole race and not fading with tyre issues, looks like they have been working hard, lets hope they stay there and get amongst the 4 aliens, which seemingly has become 3 as Danni has retired with immediate effect until he can sort his arm pump issues. I think from memory the top 20 bikes were covered by a second after qualifying so couldnt care less about the different classes, the grid is full, Suzuki are back thanks to the new system so I would say its working well, we still get great racing up front and some excellent battles mid field to watch if your at the race. 220 mph for Marquez
  11. Cant quite get my head around the cost of some grp/frp mouldings, that will still need work to fit. Think from memory the Rx7 Fortune kit with all the options was £12k, + shipping, duties, vat etc So your into 20k plus fitted/wheels etc
  12. 225 on a 10 will give you a hell of a stretch buddy.
  13. According to the articles expected price of 145k Its only 3k more than a turbo s, very similar hp, but 300kg lighter, I know which I would prefer. Turbo s' are really that much??? I though they were about 120. Makes it seem even better. Am looking forward to seeing reviews on how it drives http://www.porsche.com/uk/models/911/911-turbo-s/
  14. Std for std, i prefer the 350, but as some on here have done with the right additions, the 370 looks awesome. If you want to talk sales figures though, the 350 walks it by a country mile, but then you are in discussion of price, recession etc
  15. although I too think there are a growing number of people that think it is fashionable to have them too... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Absolutely, a mate of mines ex decided she had ptsd, this was as a direct result of her friend having ptsd, strangely up until that point she was absolutely fine apart from perhaps as mentioned above she was an attention seeker. The reason for her alledged ptsd by the way was because of bad relationship, 8 YEARS previously. I am not so sure It helps to persistenly label people, especially children as it segregates them from "normal" kids.

  18. Just to add into the mix, ZHC might suit some peoples lifestyle requirements. i.e they dont want to work everyday. I dont see people being forced into it, i guess like anything, every one has a choice.
  19. Is this something the Tories started, as DC seemed to be taking some flack for it? If your on a zero hours employment contract would you be classed as employed I.e your not one of the statistics and unemployed?
  20. Well yes, but.....all seems a little political to me. They dont want him to continue with TG (because of his behaviour) but, they want him to continue with TG LIve but under a different banner.....So why not just rename TG and give him a new contract Of course i am playing devils advocate.
  21. Apparently the presenters have a different contract to cover the live shows Only quoting as its a relevant point. So hitting and verbally abusing a presenter doesnt have any impact on this contract with the Bbc then!!!
  22. Probably because it's a bit of a myth they come here to sponge. Immigrants to the UK since 2000 have made a "substantial" contribution to public finances, a report says. The study by University College London said recent immigrants were less likely to claim benefits and live in social housing than people born in Britain. The authors said rather than being a "drain", their contribution had been "remarkably strong". The government said it was right to have strict rules in place to help protect the benefits system. Immigrants who arrived after 1999 were 45% less likely to receive state benefits or tax credits than UK natives in the period 2000-2011, according to the report by Prof Christian Dustmann and Dr Tommaso Frattini from UCL's Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration. They were also 3% less likely to live in social housing. "These differences are partly explainable by immigrants' more favourable age-gender composition. However, even when compared to natives with the same age, gender composition, and education, recent immigrants are still 21% less likely than natives to receive benefits," the authors say. 'Highly-educated immigrants' Those from the European Economic Area (EEA - the EU plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) had made a particularly positive contribution in the decade up to 2011, contributing 34% more in taxes than they received in benefits. "Given this evidence, claims about 'benefit tourism' by EEA immigrants seem to be disconnected from reality. Immigrants from outside the EEA contributed 2% more in taxes than they received in the same period, the report showed. Over the same period, British people paid 11% less in tax than they received. So what your saying Is, if the immigrants who dont work and claim benefits werent here, we would be even better off Check So we all agree, if your an immigrant and work and pay into the system, fill your boots, if your not, no thanks, we dont want you basically just about averaging out the hard working ones What I'm saying is the UK is in better position with immigration than it is without. If you wanted to examine how we "would be even better off Check " you can throw in not just the benefit claimaint immigrants, but also the uk claimants of benefits, disabled people, pensioners, the terminally ill - hell they all cost a fortune so we'd be "better off" without them. Obviously that's Ionly if you only count "better off" in money. As said, the whole welfare system needs a shake up and theoretically yes we would be better off without pensioners, terminally Ill, disabled, but they may well have already paid into the system and are British so are entitled to be supported by their own country, basically speaking. I wont disagree as said either, about the country being better off because of hard working Immigrants, but you shouldnt just be able to come here and just start receiving hand outs, we just cant afford It, cuts are being made everywhere because we dont have the cash. Its a hot topic in this country, however bad ukip might be, their popularity is only due to their, extreme to be fair, immigration policy, as none of the other parties seem to want address it, perhaps until now with what the tories are outlining. We need to get our house In oder before we carry on inviting people to stay in it.

  24. Interesting, thought the TG live shows were part of the Bbc? Or the brand TG.
  25. Definitely a great piece of work, please dont think i am picking, just trying to make it fool proof and avoid the questions surrounding the harness and make it a simple group buy for the maker. I have no issue with cutting trim either but some might find that trickier than putting a slit in the carpet If it was me i would have the diagonals almost to the bend on the main bar (by the seat belt mounting points) and drop the angle a bit so it sits level with the harness "window" but sure the now basic jig is done a little tweaking is no issue
