  1. I strongly considered a semi auto, i hear they are very good, although i never drove one as settled on a manual. If its a good car, price is right, drives well etc etc why would you not buy it? If the first one you looked at ticked all the boxes would you have continued to look?
  2. Any plans to weigh the corners, see if the swap affects weight distribution, general overall weight Ian?
  3. I think I would prefer a forged vq than std internals 2jz, even if it did cost near similar. I wonder if Ian would have taken this route if he didnt already have the 2jz to hand?
  4. No need to change the brakes, they will work fine. However it is a good upgrade, you should be able to do it for £500 ish.
  5. If the word Fairlady are mentioned its an import, most likely. So long as the mot mileage checker doesnt go in reverse anywhere you should be ok.
  6. Is this a NIssan Juke thing, bizarrely enough i saw a similar colour Juke today with a very similar combo?
  7. As Micky Flannigan said, its £6.50 for tomato on toast i dont give a .... how its pronounced

    Toyo Tyres

I just ordered some tyres through tyreleader, oponeo was cheaper on everything except the ones i wanted, £82 on tyreleader, £96 on oponeo, worth shopping between the two

    GT-Four

If its a daily/toy springs would be just perfect, no point in the expense of coilovers that will not be touched once you have your ride height and dampening set. On any turbo i would recommend a boost controller (even a simple dawes device), not so much just for ability to up the psi if required but you always get a certain amount of bleed off past the wastegate, so its not operating an optimum, feels a lot more positive with one imho. And change the wheels
  10. thats what i thought. i post my finds in 1 thread if you dont like that thread dont view it lol? But you already have a whole section dedicated to it No ones complaining, no ones offended but this is site suggestions and feedback, which is what i am doing, giving feedback, perhaps you should take your own advise, if you dont like it, dont view it

if you want Anti-lag, you'll need a super strong turbo and a stand alone ECU. But it won't last long. The Anti-lag will kill the turbo in a year or so of 3k miles a year. I know, because I did it. Yes it's great but the turbo I had (hybrid) just wasn't up to it. Worth every penny

4x4 rally rep, there is only one thing to do.... ANTI LAG
  13. I must admit It really boils my p$$$ when your sat in a macdonalds car park and rubbish is deposited out the car window when a bin is never more than 10 yards away
  14. Would still love to do a go kart meet at Thruxton if your the man for the job
  15. Bought quite a few from import auctions at the docks when the exchange rate was better and they were bringing them over. If you have a buyer just familiarise yourself with the auction sheet and gradings
  16. I did a track day at Combe when I first got my 350 with some mates, one also had a 350. Me and my mate were on pretty even terms, halfway through the day his pedal was falling to the floor after a session, mine was fine. We were both running the same std set up. The only conclusion was, either his fluid was shot, or it was something to do with his driving style. Nothing else was different, same set up, same day, same number of sessions etc
  17. You would probably be better off investing the money in having the manifolds ceramic coated and wrapping your downpipes imho unless the above and its just for visual
  18. Assuming its an import if fairlady is mentioned, you would be very lucky if it has a service book and if it did you would have to be able to read Japanese. Plenty of imports on here without issue
  19. Not forgetting running 100 metres down pit lane to collect said number 2 bike
  20. No, just social media. Forums are a good source of useful info

    Single exhaust

One thing that really bugged me about Rx7's was the single exit exhaust, would have loved a twin exit (just like the symmetry) and now i have
  22. Any and every form of social media
  23. I wish i could find it or saved it, but when the 35 came out there was a pic head on, 32, 33, 34, 35, every subsequent year was noticeably bigger. If you put a 32 and 35 next to each other it would be twice the size. Tough call for me between the 32 & 34, but that is a different thread entirely
  24. It doesnt bother me or offend me But as above, we have a section for ebay finds, would seem a lot easier to see a thread title, i.e Nismo Spoiler, than go through a load of pages on the hope something is interesting
