Farage stands down
-
So am I correct in thinking that now he can't be the leader of his own party? What ever gives you that idea, he never held the seat anyway
-
Just seen ukip have 12.5% share not as I posted above, over double snp, doesnt seem quite right to have 1 maybe 2 seats compared to 50 + for snp.
-
Shocking turn out though
-
Well there is a surprise, but not an unpleasant one even though my vote went the other way. Ukip with 30% + of the vote pleases me though 2nd biggest party, edit, just read that wrong, apologies. Ed lost seat after recount.
-
So if exit polls are to be believed, cons near a majority, labour taken a sound drubbing in scotland to snp and according to vote share, ukip are 3rd largest party.

There is the kicker i have known and been in many social situations with gay men, when i had hair my hairdresser was one and one of the funny guys you will ever meet, but there were times i felt uncomfortable, it was a simple analogy i was trying to make. To answer your question, yes it probably would in all honesty, as it probably would for them too, its not a one way street is it I have said enough on the topic, if anyone feels they still want to debate my opinion or cast aspersions, please feel free to pm me
-
And you accuse me of stereotyping I suppose you have extensive knowledge of them based on your experiences, or did you just watch Snatch once or twice I offered an opinion on why i believed the women in question wasnt necessarily being racist and used an example i thought could be relevant. Subsequently i am, homophobic but also a closet homosexual, not sure you can have both, but whatever makes you both feel comfortable with your opinion and i need to open my mind To be fair, i have put forward an opinion, i know what i am and what i am not and neither care for two people i dont know choosing to be get personal and making accusations towards me. Just for the record i voted Ukip so also must be racist.
-
It's a bit of a misleading question asking if I would be comfortable walking into a pack of people that I don't know with a reputation that precedes them It's very irrational to be uncomfortable around gay people unless of course there is something you are worried about having to admit to yourself. Just maybe that is how that women felt about negros, so the question is far from misleading, she doesnt know them either, its not as cut and dried as you make it, hence the racial tension in this country, as per the sad incidents that happen to gangzoom. Its not an irrational feeling at all, i find them overbearing and their mannerisms (not all of course) are nothing i am at familiar with, hence why i feel uncomfortable.

18's for go, 19's for show. If you have no real interest in the finer degrees of feel and handling go for 19's as they look better, if your into track days, keep the Rays for that

See I'm confused about that one, I've got no idea why someones orientation or skin colour would make you uncomfortable... If however a Mountain Lion came along and wanted to ask questions about your political agenda or sit with you at the pub then I agree, time to feel uncomfortable. Sadly I am not eloquent enough to explain It then, or you just see It differently. I was just trying to perhaps offer a view from how she feels. I dont feel uncomfortable around negros, but do gays, just suggesting it doesnt automatically make you predujice to not feel comfortable around certain groups, but as Ekona mentions, they are both sensitive subjects, i have been called to rights before on here for comments made about Louis Spence. Would you feel comfortable If you wandered Into a pikey campsite for example?
-
I feel uncomfortable around gays (on the most part), does that make me homophobic, no, i can categorically tell you i am not, each to their own and fill your boots. If you have not had exposure to gays or negros in any degree of course their appearance or way of life may make you feel uncomfortable imho. But actively be prejudice against them, lol, i have far better things to do with my time. She was no way discriminating about Negros (which isnt a race by the way), just she felt uncomfortable, perfectly plausible and perfectly rational for an old woman who probably didnt see a black fella until she was our age You want to see it as racist, so you will and you will draw your own conclusions from an innocent comment and we will once again be arguing opinions. You and Ekona are right though, i am sure there are some black sheep (is that racist?) in Ukip and hopefully as the party gathers strength and popularity they will root these people out and become far more credible, i could hardly see that old dear out at a BNP rally though.
-
Or she was just being honest, she didnt say, i hate negros and hope they all burn in hell or i want all the negros out of the UK. Sure it probably wasnt the right thing to say, but its not racist, just honest! All parties have bad members as you say, but it seems its "acceptable" to be fraudulent, have affairs, do drugs, break the law and god knows what else, but exactly as my post above, mention something or anything to do with a minority and your burned at the stake, its like the greatest sin known to man these days.
-
I would suggest a laser wheel alignment just to make sure all is well before you go any further.
-
And this is the problem the country faces, say anything to do with minorities and your branded a racist, regardless of context.

You need to take your wheels to a metal polisher if you want to get them really shiny, google search should find you one in your area. The only thing i might suggest for your nuts and bolts is to try kitchen descaler, like Kilrock. Or alternatively take one to a fasteners and fixing supplier and see if they can match, usually they can, unless they are an m7 and they wont have them on the shelf. Or just buy new from a specialist if they are m7 (size of bolt) http://www.torquepartz.com/category/bbs/split-rim-bolts/ http://www.srrhardware.com/category/bolts-steel-m7-32mm -
It tells you on your photo, et25, that is the offset. Just check fronts and rears are the same.

I dont see the op "ranted" or "slagged off" in the slighest, he just put up his experience and how you judge it exaggerated is beyond me when you werent there. I bought a product from a trader on here and contacted him directly and probably as peanut decided, I already knew I would be pi$$ing into the wind by following that course of action. The trader accepted no responsibility at all, the kicker for me, he hadnt seen the product, it was sent direct from his supplier, how anyone can catergorically defend a product they havent seen is beyond me.
-
And there in lies the whole problem, in this age of forums, internet and reviews, whether factual or not, your response is the only thing that may save your reputation. Peanut could have been your customer had a more reasoned explanation been presented imho, rather than a sarcastic and shouting contest, he posted his findings and sure he believed them true. Sorry i see no explanation for a salesmen being on the phone with a customer in front of him, reading emails or not. Its obvious you have a good business and dont need peanuts finance/cash, but, when its so easy to type into a Google a company name and see just about everything anyone has to say about them, how many sales have you lost from your response, there is 3 at least on here who wouldnt go to you or recommend you. A simple, sorry for your bad experience with us, facts presented and done is a more than adequate response, however aggrieved you might feel. If enough mud is slung dude, some may stick eventually.
-
The customer is always right Got a distinct feeling of deja vu with this thread too Of course your going to defend your business, i would do the same with mine and if you think the above and other threads is the right way, who i am i to argue, but, imho, there was no slating and name calling in peanuts post, just a customer pointing out what he thinks is factual, do you really feel the need to respond with name calling and sarcasm, obviously you do, but dont think it does you any favours, a polite response explaining your side of the story would suffice

Or if you want a simpler job, you could buy: http://www.evo-r.net/product/Z4LED/II/index.htm or http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/350z04e or http://www.maxground.com/badges.htm or http://www.courtesyparts.com/350z-side-emblem-led-amber-p-19580.html
