  1. iv just sat and went though this build. Wow your 350z is looking amazing. if you even want to sell her give me a shout mate. nicest 350 iv seen yet. love the clean lines.
  2. hi mate. well iv had my fun with the s chassi, loved the car and may even go back to it one day. The s14's value have really gone up over the past few years, since i got rid of mine. which is one of the other reasons im looking for a Z. plus newer cars, look better, bigger engines, and fingers crossed, no rust problems haha. is there much you can do to make the 350z more light weight without doing anything to drastic. cheers
  3. hi sam, yeah iv already asked to meet up with the guys up here in the north east. they are having going for a drive out later on in may so im trying to get along and join them, hopfully i can jump in someones car for the day. will be such a good experience. I know when i come to buy my 350z im really going to hold off and have a good look around alot of cars until i really fall in love with one. might even wait until a supercharged one comes up for sale. cheers
  4. hi everyone, thanks very much for the feedback regarding this. the only reason i want to know about this as iv had s14a a few years ago which was very cheap to get it to 300bhp and was a great fun. but i do prefer the look of the 350z and i didnt really like the turbo lag i had in the s14 which is why im really keen on the 3.5v6 and even with a turbo or supercharge the displacment will handle this well, alot better than the sr20 motor any ways, what im really looking for is a car i use on weekend and on track days, just a fun toy that can handle 400bhp pretty easily and isnt going to cost the world to run, maintain. car much be very grunty, handle very well, and have the feeling like you are in a race car. Im sure this is what everyone also wants, i do think ill have to go out for a spin in 350z to make my final decision. cheers
  5. cheers sam, ill take a look. already done a little bit of research on it last night, it does look very good from what iv read and seen. would i be worth me buying a early model 350z for cheaper then putting the money towards the vortech, or is it worth putting more money into buying a newer model 350z, as in 2006? compared to 2004? cheers
  6. yeah im pretty handy with a spanner, and as it will be a weekend toy i wont mind it being off the road during the week and working on it just as and when. ill do some research into the vortech kits. cheers
  7. has anyone ever had any experience with a silvia and can compare it to the 350z? Only other car id be tempted to get would be another silvia. they are so easy to mod and rather cheap as well.
  8. thanks for all the advice guys. Id be keep to supercharge or turbo charge a engine. I dont really have deep pockets to be honest, i tend to do most of the work on my cars myself to save on labour costs, but i understand things like this will need specialist attention. thanks, keep the advice coming tho,
  9. Hi everyone. Im soon going to be in the market for a 350z and im just wondering what would be required to get the 350 up for 350BHP? How expensive would it be? I love modifying my cars and making them more unique so would love to learn more about the 350 and what can be done to it. cheers
  10. hey guys. thanks for all the warm welcomes. Im really excited to own a 350z now. seen a couple on the road lately and its just making me really need one haha. is there anyone on this forum who is from the north east, northumberland area who wouldnt mind me coming along and having a look at the car and how it feels. cheers mark
  11. hey guys. Im just new to this forum, iv been a member of loads of other forums in the past. the sxoc club was my favourite so far. Im looking into getting a 350z in the new few months, always loved them and im after a nice 2 seater sports car which handles well and has good throttle response, and from what iv read so far the 350z ticks all these boxes. Iv just got a few questions for you experienced guys out there. 1) what are they like to live with,(running costs, repaires, common faults, rust etc) 2) Do they have much tuning potention as iv always been one for putting my own stamp on my cars and tuning them for more enjoyment. 3) Im stuck between getting a hardt-top model and the soft-top. I must say i prefer the look of the hard-top better but iv always wanted a nice convertable to drop when the sun gets out. Any pros or cons for either? 4) Which year/model of the 350z should i be going for really? Im looking to spend between 6-7k max. thanks guys. Im really looking forward to becoming a active member on this forum. mark
