So a little background, i bought this a little over 2 years ago and it hasnt let me down once, apart from a dead battery, i have enjoyed every minute of it, but i think the time has come to sell. I have done as much as i wanted to do with the car without throwing vast sums of money at engine performance, which i promised i would never do after my varying Rx7's. I am not using the car enough and with an imminent house build i just cant see much use over the summer either and would prefer to have the funds to put into the house or buy something else should a bargain come up. It is a Jdm with cloth seats, no cruise control, but does have Brembos. I have the original Sva prep showing the mileage at 14180 miles in January 06. Mileage now is a little over 55k (will check as kept in a friends garage). I had a problem with a speedo kmh to mph converter so swapped to Uk clocks last year, when i took the old cluster out there was a sticker showing the mileage had been converted from kmh to mph, so mileage is accurate, no mix of kmh & mph, i also had the new speedo converted to show correct mileage. There are also a few service records stamped in the book. P1 @ 14652 miles 16.03.06 P2 @ 25058 miles 19.03.07 P1 @ 32268 miles 24.03.08 P3 @ 40578 miles 14.05.09 A service was carried out the year i got it, oil&filter, gearbox and diff oil, plugs @ around 50k miles in 2013. The oil and filter have just been changed with Fuchs Pro Race oil. The same garage also fitted a new Exedy organic clutch, pressure plate and bearing, bought brand new from a member and a Driftworks lightweight flywheel that had done about 1000 miles, also from a member. Also fitted a new crank shaft position sensor at the same time, all done at the beginning of May 2015. Mot'd till October 2015. So essentials out the way and probably a good time to flick to the build thread here to see the enhancements i have made to include: http://www.350z-uk.c...of-both-worlds/ 19 Weds Kranze Borphes, 19 x 11 & 19 x 9.5, custom painted & new Nankangs Ns11's 25 mm front spacers Rolled arches Full Hunter alignment 2013 Eibach anti roll bars Nismo S Tune shocks and Eibach springs Eibach camber control arms Full HKS True Dual Exhaust & Berks HFC's RT Performance Chargespeed rear, fitted last year along with a respray on Nismo V1 front bumper. Nismo Skirts Headlight eyebrows Mishimoto Fan shroud DBA front discs and Ferrodo DS2500 pads AEM Pop charger 380 RS Pedal Carbon engine and battery etc covers Rear lights film tint Wrinkle Finish plenum Stubby Aerial Window Tints Wiper delete Tein bonnet dampers Interior refresh, generic double din with sat nav, ipod, bluetooth etc, centre consul sprayed gloss black (hint of gold metallic a Skyline colour), dash surrounds and a pillars trimmed in alcantara wrap, under strut sub box with JBL 10" such, Infinity door speakers, 2 Alpine amps. Probably some bits i have forgotten and will add if i remember. Mechanically great and most of the bodywork is good, but, it is a 2003 car and there are a few blemishes, the roof and bonnet paint are tired but polish up ok, i was going to put on a bulge bonnet and paint roof at the same time. I am happy to sell as is but obviously i would get more to strip off varying parts return to near std, because i have to put a price, start with a base package to include: Car with Nismo suspension and eibach springs/camber control arms & std wheels, all ice gear and interior as you see it here. Happy to discuss price on any additions you want to keep. Although the photos below are a year old its probably done just over 1k since.

Nissan IDx is super-dead, but parts may live on in FWD platform
Jetpilot replied to Jalada's topic in Other Cars
Or a power version is just going to end up at a stupid price point as the na version was too expensive in the first place, only in my opinion of course -
New Exedy clutch just fitted - juddering when pulling away
Jetpilot replied to addisj's topic in 350Z General
That will be your problem imho. When I bought my car the guy had replaced the clutch and not the flywheel as he was selling and didnt want the expense. It didnt bother me too much as a few revs made it disappear, I got round to changing both clutch and fly recently and doesnt judder at all now. -

That article also says Nissan have green lit the Idx and only justifies the US market sales figures of the Gt86, it doesnt paint the entire picture. -
1st page, 2nd post Its gone now, so presume he has taken the add down and will refresh with the new price when he returns Interesting at £9k as a project, not at £12k though Let us know if you get it Scott will be good to see it made better

I know which i would prefer to be driving in either link and its not the ones "winning" If the 370 is 30hp down on the Gtr and weighing a good 200+ kgs less i am not surprised it out dragged a gtr on a rolling start.

I think he means arch gap as in top of tyre to to arch, which offset or 18, 19 will not help with, only lowering. Jonty, rolling diameter stays the same with 18's, 19's or 20's, or should do, to be in line with your current rolling diameter (overall size inc tyre). Basically your tyre profile gets smaller to allow for the extra wheel diameter, so whatever your gain in wheel size, you loose in tyre size. Use this to help you keep near the same: http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.html

Ouch!

I would have thought the front would have to be hit for air bags to go off, unless its side ones he meant? Its not on the register either so i guess at least the guy is honest. Any idea what the bits and bobs that need finishing are?

Had a similar problem, a blue elm 327 that works on my Toyota but not my 350z, going to try another at some point.

I would say he would develop better, regardless of playing time, but under a better manager and team mates. In all fairness much of a talent as Ronaldo was, it was Fergie who developed that talent to make him one of the worlds best, imho of course.

Loads of threads re wheel fitment, there is even a sticky at the top of the wheels sub forum with members wheel, tyres, suspension and arch mods specs

I just think there is some very weird wording in there for a 70 year old english man. Auto engineer - Mechanic I have 4 rides to pick from - cars Gas flow headers - manifold Fast and Furious - really? least we forget The Nissan Beast I have asked a sensible question or two (who mapped/tuned etc) but still awaiting a reply.

I was told to be very gifted as a youngster in most sports, my old head master player for Rangers and i was told if you want to be professional, you can. We are talking 30 + years ago though, but, i was also told, if you want to be a professional footballer and earn decent money (obviously very different to todays earnings), football is not the one as you will have to be in the top 1 or 2%. If you want to earn money as a sportsman, go play golf, you can earn very good money without being anywhere near the top. So i am waffling, but its very easy to sit here as keen amateur sportsmen and say, i would love to play "sport" for a living and would go play it for "x" a year but in reality i think it would be very different, especially as with the topic you are perhaps over hyped and made to believe you are better than your are and can earn "x" or be part of a trophy winning team, especially at early twenties, i wouldnt have trusted myself to sit the right way round on a toilet at that age, let alone make life changing career decisions

So how does either of the above explain Rooney asking to leave Utd, more money offered and he stays and sure he his not the only example. Sure they love the game, but money drives them, how many top flight premier league players would leave their respective clubs where they might be regular on the bench @ lets say £25k a week to go and play regularly for £25k a year, medals or no medals.

Anyone from here, the advert seems a little "curious" http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350z-/271877182774?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3f4d249536

245's would be my choice as i like a little stretch, but 255;s are fine.

Thats an interesting R32 Quite a few on here running 10" fronts

I wouldnt agree, but thats just a personal opinion. As above with both of them. If they were in any other recognised footballing country they wouldnt get in the national squad. On topic though, its just money (mostly) & glory, plain and simple. I would doubt Sterling (particularly) or Rooney give a flying .... whether they play regular football, they just want money and to be part of a winning team. Rooney is a slightly different case as he seems to spit his dummy out if he isnt number 1 or thinks he is number 1. I often watch a team celebrating a trophy and there is some random who has sat on the bench all season or been injured jumping around with the rest of the team. Still has a medal and part of a winning team to his name though and a vast bank balance.
-
Didnt hurt Rooney moving from Everton, all comes down to the individual i guess, if he goes to a Chelsea, Man City, Man U etc and plays well, its all history and the move will be justified
-
Agreed, but then hindsight is a wonderful thing, what about if he gets injured next season at Liverpool and its career ending, make the money now and worry later. I would imagine the plan is to push his career and earnings, status etc and that probably isnt going to happen at Liverpool. Not saying its right, just the way it is. Man Utd was critical to Ronaldo, who knows what would have happened if he hadnt made that move.
-
Or does the agent consider that his job is to get Sterling into the "best" team and so increase the players earnings, future transfers and subsequently his commission?
-
Is this not the same as Rooney threatening to leave Utd a few years back, until he got offered a vast pay rise, all about the money and nothing else imho, no matter what is said. There seems to be delusions of grandeur with English talent.
