  1. Would anyone know the size of the under tray u nuts and bolts or screws the mount it to the front bumper?
  2. Of that i have no doubt But its not just them, its cars like ours, bmws etc Sorry, but its no wonder we have a bad name
  3. Absolutely, draw the wrong crowd. But, there is no way corsas and fiestas are going to be drifting round roundabouts, i appreciate you dont need to spend loads to have something capable of drifting, but you cant just single them out as the problem area, as per your vid of the dude drifting up that hill, who then got all angry on social media. Not being on fb anymore, i couldnt look, were people supporting that guy? Or as said above, did anyone say, your a pr*ck for driving like that on the road?
  4. Which would make you think twice about behaving like a tool surely?
  5. Local club meets are just a bunch of kids that have their car on PCP or have a cheap beat up car that they roll around showing off. 90% of them would have never touched a track. (this is 90% of the meets, mainly ones that are publicized alll over facebook drawing attention from all over the country) It's the ones you don't hear about which run according to plan and don't cause disruption. I used to do the VW scene many years ago and attended quite a few, they started off well, but after a few years the above behaviour increased drastically, maybe as the popularity grew. I also did loads of bike meets, surprisingly they were the most well behaved, you would get the odd sporadic incident but that was maybe down to over exuberance than absolute disregard to road laws. There was a bike meet at Odiham first weds of the month, Police were always on hand and to be fair they seemed to turn a blind eye, there was a regular chain of guys wheeling off up the duel carriage way, it was good to watch. Until one night a guy tried, failed miserably and went straight into the crowd, but that was one incident in 5 years i remember.
  6. So who are these "people", from what i have seen of the driving standards of track sessions at Combe (Japfest and other), dudes filming drifting on the road and putting it on fb etc it seems their one and the same and with the links above, its common practice at meets? Going to put a disclaimer here so as not to antagonise, this is genuinely how i see meets, hence why i have no interest in attending any, arranged club 350z meets are not linked to the above by the way.
  7. Some of the buckling on those containers
  8. Someone burns car in insurance scam shocker....thats got to be a first I was more upset that someone had wrapped a 458 gold in another thread today Obviously he is a c*ck, but he is a c*ck regardless of worth, suggesting its a shame he wasnt in it is a little extreme
  9. 245 is minimum recommended, 255 or 265 is ideal, 275 maximum recommended.
  10. I have a never failed an mot with a fair bit worse than that, around 9.5 et0, i am unsure on the exact law but at the level you will be talking i really wouldnt have the slightest concern. 9.5 et20 is considered a perfect fit so 1 or 3mm further out is relatively nothing, have you actually lowered the car onto the ground, or just bolted up to the hub?
  11. Have less than 3mm gap on mine and no concerns or issues.
  12. Car theft has always been easy, if they want it, they will have it
  13. Yep it is f**ked up that bit. EP3 Civic Type R approx £16K when new FN2 Civic Type R approx £19K when new New FK2 Civic Type R approx £32K It is a nice car I thought but yeah have to agree with you Stu there is no way I'd pay that much for it. Maybe if it was 4wd and quicker 0-60 then it might justify it a bit more. Makes you wonder how mazda have been knocking the mx5 out for so many years without much of a change in price: 1990 £14250 2015 £18495 Seems to be the general trend though, i was shocked by the price of the gt86 when that was released. Think i would take a base 5.0 V8 Mustang at a grand more.
  14. http://my350z.com/fo...rmarket-bs.html Well that was the one part that put me off, having to pay for an uprev and really wasnt fussed with the extra 20hp or so vs cost, but if you have it already You will need, uk steering wheel with cruise and brake and clutch pedal sensors. Got a good condition uk wheel if anyone wants to give it a whirl.
  15. I think the zed is of an age now where its possibly expected that colour changes may take place, but, if your going bright and bold your going to polarize opinions, so narrowing your market, only imho of course.
  16. Seems to backward to design a car with wing vents, but blank them off
  17. Matching jumper, nice got to orange now Too much choice is sometimes a bad thing
  18. Seem to remember you being 92 @ Combe? guess there must be some variation, maybe its worth a punt? Will drop back in to Thruxton after mapping and see if I can get a reading I also wonder if after all their noise troubles they deliberately have a very low db "in theory" to deter a certain crowd from even trying to book?
  19. I might try to get to this, I have done Thruxton on my bike many years ago and really enjoyed it, just worried about db as its silly low.
  20. He is very well renowned in the gtr and rx7 community, i am sure he can help, got to be worth a call.
