  3. There is and its white, haha. Do we know which photos are real, do we know if the graphics werent applied afterwards to level it up to the drivers side? It has documentation, probably from Universal Studios, its really the only thing that matters, none others advertised have that and that is what will sell this car, whether thats anywhere near £150k is a completely different story
  4. Stevos link with details on the cars used for filming: http://www.topspeed.com/cars/nissan/2006-nissan-350z-tokyo-drift-ar10582.html

Be wary of estimates until the have the product in hand to see the fitment, sorry to be a doom monger but too many times in the past have i been caught out on estimates on fitting aftermarket stuff

Oh really? Damn. I emailed JDMFlares but not got anything back. Any others to recommend? I contacted Stardast but at £1,400 for the kit I'm going to give that one a miss lol Customer service AND fit, knightracer is renowned for being hideous, especially if they are "universal". I think the AMS ones Stevo posted are by the far the nicest and most complimentary, love the cut out front wings, but a member on here who bought the ams kit had to have extensive work carried out to get them to fit well. I dont wish to sound rude (not trying to be), but if you think this is going to be a cheap exercise you dont appreciate the amount of work needed, unless of course it just some rivet on flares. Nothings going to be cheap swiftyy if you want to it to look decent.
  7. Well going on the info we had before, 11 were built with only two getting the full works, turbo kit etc, graphics aside, with full documentation this is from the film and having the turbo kit etc, imho its as real as its going to get or find, that is if anyone had £150k burning a hole in their pocket.

Do an internet search on knightracer fit before you hit buy
  9. The add says it has full documentation, aps twin turbo etc I always seem to remember the one in the film having the graphics, obviously your pic suggests otherwise, but perhaps the graphic one is the main film car?
  10. http://www.cheshireclassiccars.co.uk/classic-cars-for-sale/2002-nissan-350z-twin-turbo-tokyo-drift Looks the same to me and no, not looking for an argument.
  11. Sorry to read of your troubles. Stabbing wildly in the dark and some suggestions: I have heard that some flywheels can be put in out of phase, basically 180 degrees out, although not sure which ones, it was the first question asked to me when i had a cps sensor go down when i swapped flywheels to which i had similar problems, running rough as hell and would only start with foot on the gas, fortunately it was literally the sensor on mine, although we did take off the gearbox to check the alignment was correct. I am also sure i have read because the throttle bodies are fly by wire, they can need resetting if removed, especially if your battery has gone funky whilst off. Other than that and i have no idea who you have taken it to, but imho take it to a specialist, someone who is fully up to speed on this sort of car, Horsham, Abbey, Kaizer Motor Company. I would also suggest with a car like this, you need an HKS twin spark, they were a life saver on Rx7's.
  12. Just rub it in why don't you Pleased to hear and see it was a good day I am sure the sun tan cream was rubbed in Are the wheels gold yet?
  13. You cant really conceive some of these buildings were made in those days. I used to work with an old fella who built wooden war ships, doesnt sound so bad, until he reminds you there was no such thing as an electric drill, literally everything done by hand. On a Friday they would get their pay cheque and sometimes it was accompanied by your p45, so you then had to get your heavy tool box home, on a bike We dont know how easy we have got it
  14. Read in mph but said kph, also swapped those over eventually to uk.
  15. My jdm had a speed chip converter which also delimited it, the chip played up so swapped it out for uk clocks and still no limit. The only converter i could find for the 350z was this one (also delimits) http://www.svaspeedos.co.uk/product_info.html Perhaps the advise would be to the op, check/ask how its been converted so you can be sure

    Wheel Refurb

Yes, get them polished or diamond cut, there are two places on Ferndown industrial estate if your anywhere near there, take them along and discuss your options.

    500Z?

Sure there are a hanful of people running gtr power through std zed boxes. The problems you will have are, does the box even mate up to a gtr engine, wiring and cost. Speak to Ross @ Dragon Performance, I would bet he would take it on, but probably end up costing you Gtr money imho.
  18. Good write up and important advise, if the car is good, nothing wrong with imports. A kmh to mph electronic converter chip will always delimit the car as the signal to the ecu still "thinks" it getting kmh, but where its been converted its dropped the pulse, if that makes sense. If you had the old classic shape imprezza they operated a mechanical speedo, via cable, which didnt remove the limit.
  19. If its already imported it will most likely be reading in mph with a speed converter chip, so it wont be ltd any more so scratch the above
  20. Soon as you put the speed converter (kmh to mph) on you are not ltd to 112mph anymore
  21. Is the styling not a little "extreme" for its price tag and market place? Imho of course.
  22. Done http://www.sprayonchromeuk.co.uk/
  23. Do consider this, it will not be a simple spray and bolt up like oem, so make sure your comfortable with whomever that they are able to to do this and until they have the bumper in hand and have offered up to see how much work is required i would take their "quote" with a pinch of salt. I would personally let RT do it if your happy with their quote.
