  1. This is true but in an odd way I think is helping the value of older cars, or soon will. Fact is certain people still want performance delivered old skool... and they can only buy that new with mega bucks at the moment. ^^^ This is what i was trying to put across, if you wanted a japanese normally aspirated large capacity motor (even turbo'd nutter car), what are your choices, after the 350z 2003 on (excluding 370z), from any Japanese manufacturer, what interesting affordable or vaguely affordable cars have any of them produced or producing?
  2. Bet your glad you didnt buy mine, I am too funnily enough, looks great Matt
  3. I wouldnt worry about the odd one slipping the net either, there are always bargains to be had and that goes for any car, you never know a sellers circumstance when it comes to how quickly they want/need the money. I havent seen much change in prices across the board since buying my first 350 2.5 years ago, it would seem though there are the odd rogue cheapy around that I never saw when buying mine. It will be interesting to see what the next few years will bring, will it go like Docwra predicts and follow the normal pattern hitting around the £3k ish mark and bouncing back or, with nothing else filtering down as what else is there thats similiar (jap sports coupe/big displacement engine or turbo engined) and other cult cars going up in value (supra/skyline/s bodies etc) will they hold their value?
  4. Least it leads onto the rest of the car, which is also hideous, i seem to remember it also being incredibly hefty on the scales.
  5. If you have mpg concerns, a 3.5ltr V6 sports coupe probably isnt for you buddy not that I have even heard there is a difference between models, I mean that in the nicest possible way as always suprised when people look at these cars with anything to do with mpg in their remit. All hr's have the bulge bonnet, but you can get a facelift (revup engine) without the bulge bonnet.
  6. Lost for anything genuinely worth trying to put into words
  7. Well seeing as you asked, get the wheels coloured (gold) and the bolts put back in
  8. Never had any issue with Paisley and have sent and received quite a few sets of wheels
  9. How so, most people searching will know the prices and will realise its a scam, so it wont affect genuine adverts. I really dont think viewing for sale ads is any indication of pricing, until you are actually standing in front of the car looking at condition or selling a car and see what people are offering or paying its as good as guess work.
  10. Grundy, Porsche grey black, that is all.....
  11. 19 x 10 R 19 x 9 F Polished lip. Some kind of gunmetal grey for the spokes. Slightly lighter shade than the car. I'll get them custom sprayed. Not got the wheels yet. Nearer to launch time! Good choice, personally would get 9.5 & 10.5 for the tyre sizes good luck In your search, not going to be cheap
  12. I was under the impression good old common garden car laquer is the uv protection in any paint process and its what protects the base coat (colour) from fading etc.
  13. Good choice on the wheel front, one of my favourites, what flavour, have you got them yet?
  14. I am struggling with the "hyper" bit, do you just mean silver? Polish the lips and that has win written all over it Check out Torqens Sema thread for wheel colour inspiration I had some work Rezax done in pink, there was a slight irony behind a Rx7 with 500hp and pink wheels
  15. Another Poole/Bournemouth owner You are lucky, we have the most helpful and friendly owners up the road in Ferndown, the Zed shed boys and girls, Buster, Keyser etc
  16. You will really struggle to get Ings in the Uk buddy, apart from a handful of replica items. There is a place in Wales that does original but it its be going to be costly if you want the real deal, if I remember who they are will put the details up. Opinion wise, doesnt really look much longer than Nismo V3 which seem popular, go for it if thats what you like, at least it will be a bit different.
  17. A buddy of mine had an 883 sportster when we were biking, he did a retro flat track look, looked awesome, absolutely hideous to ride though Looks good, need to break up the black a bit imho
  18. I wasnt aware there were chassis changes, I thought all the suspension components were the same and interchangeable Inc brakes. Often increased safety measures makes a difference, but there isnt any difference between the 2 to my knowledge.
  19. First British Motogp champion since Barry Sheene, hell of an accomplishment. Well done Danny
  20. Wise words above. I have never driven a rev up but understand there is nothing in it engine wise, you get a 500 rpm higher redline, a few more hp but less torque. There are also cases of the rev up using oil. The interior and slight face lift bumper are really the deciding points imho.
  21. Question from the uninitiated, does the z4m share the same chassis as M3?
  22. Fitment issues in general for their parts, try one the traders on here for Nismo V2
  23. Not heard a lot off good things about epr, but nismo v2 is popular. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=nismo+v2+spoiler&client=tablet-android-samsung&hl=en-GB&source=android-browser-suggest&prmd=sivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAmoVChMIqeGgj4z6yAIVCXIUCh0GcAgI
