  1. Black for me too please? Do these have a half way stop out of interest?
  2. Why wouldn't it? Sealing problem with the lower plenum or spacer maybe? Even the add says may not work, not a risk i would be willing to take at that money. I cant see you buy something like that and not try it, me thinks he is covering his ass It could be twisted, bad shape, etc
  3. So Rocket Bunny is all the rage at Sema then
  4. Probably purely the fact there arent many people prepared to spend £3-4k on a kit, plus similar or more on fitting plus the same on wheels.
  5. You would want to hope so for the money someone is about to pay
  6. I just had a little browse on the asa website and the rulings page.... Amazing how many rulings were upheld due to just 1 complaint, in my brief scan the most i saw for an ad were 15. Now i understand there are/should be rules or guidelines, but surely one complaint from one persons prespective should not have any bearing out of the 1000s who probably saw the ad and saw nothing wrong.
  7. Would the Asa not have to approve the add before its shown?
  8. Mmmmm, lovely coloured wheels, obviously a fan with my varying sets, wonder if it turns out as popular over here
  9. £1500+ for a good wrap going from what i have seen on here and in the flesh. Dont expect miracles though from what i hear, it will lift in places etc If its a normal colour (not matt/satin etc) and you dont want to return to std at any point i would pay the extra and get it resprayed imho. Once you have polished the headlights you will need to put a protective coating on, check the detailing thread for examples.
  10. I heard on the radio today a BMW add has been pulled from tv because it encourages reckless driving, apparently. The reason being, it shows the driver changing down a gear and then the revs increasing. The best part, this was a result of a absolutely mahoosive 3 complaints!!!!!!!!!! Are you f******g kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Apparently trader"s" according to the op, but you say its only one, do you know something we dont or just randomly pointing fingers? Everyone is asking the op to name and shame, but if you "know" and are going to fling out comments like that, why not say?
  12. Just seen an evo article on you tube where they suggest this could be the next generation Rx9 with rotary, apparently they have overcome reliability, emissions etc It was rumoured they would use laser instead of spark plugs
  13. I'm with you in that one I will leave this here then, sadly i dont know how to embed it

Thanks Andy, will give it some thought and let you know.
  15. You seem to be missing the point: As above, why do insurance companies ask where the car is kept, garaged, driveway etc If it doesnt matter, whats the point in asking? Of course they will pay out its nicked from outside a mates not the registered kept address, but that is a completely different thing from if its nicked from your home address and you have said its NOT kept there and as you say they ask the neighbours and all confirm the car is always kept there, you will definitely have some explaining to do. As you say in ever other insurance related thread, dont give them any excuses not to pay.
  16. You dont need to map for it, its just there to keep intake temps down. The kits are popular in the states but not so much over here.
  17. Its been around for years and was developed for ww2 aircraft, i would have absolutely no concerns in using it, your probably talking 100k miles before any significant erosion is noticeable At some point i will be going for it on my v3, imho, it can only help, not for more power, but inlet temps and det, it also cleans the top end of the engine
  18. So it wasnt a question then There is a reason kits are available and have proven success
  19. Will firing water at the impella not damage it, water and high speed turbines is a bad mix in my experiance... No Its such a fine mist its no real difference to fog.
  20. ^^^^^ The truth I will caveat this, more than happy to run 19's on the road for the trade off it in feel to asthetics at normal road speeds, but, for track speeds and quick direction changes required would have the 18's back on.

    Thanks but no thanks.
  22. Tricky speaks the truth, water/meth is fine, but using the meth part as a enhancer, to further cool the intake temp. Sure you could use more meth and map for it but as dawj says, you then rely on the meth and if you run dry or it fails, your in trouble. Never heard of systems failing and flooding the engine either. If your concerned run a mechanical water injection pre supercharger firing into the blades, its a very effective method of cooling, rather than post supercharger.
  23. If you had a camera and it recorded someone bumping into your car, say when in a parking space, would that be evidence enough to claim from them, or could they say, I didnt cause the damage it was already there for example? I know legally they would be at fault for leaving the scene of an accident, but could the claim be valid?
  24. If you have given the insurance company an address where the car is kept and its stolen from your home address i.e where the policy is registered but not kept, i bet they would they would be very interested in why the car wasnt at the postcode its registered as being kept. Otherwise, whats the point of it, if it was stolen from where you keep it, you could just say, i was staying at a mates like you say.
