Its the bog standard oem unmolested cars fetching the money so dont believe its the tuning potential. Same as Coldels GT4, its value lies in that its a very clean unmodified example.

Guys looking for some advise. I just got back onto vaping and its a leap ahead since i last did it, no more wicks, but coils and variable rate power So i bought a curve 2, seems great for my requirements, but, i have gone through two coils in a week and no i am not gunning it by any means. Suddenly its starts getting that burned taste that was very noticeable when your wicks burned out and just starts getting worse and worse. Using American Gold at 3.5v never run dry. Any advise, am i doing something wrong?

I would say the fact 350z prices havent budged in a couple of years is a good thing Gtr's (lesser Skylines too) are probably the safest bet because of their heritage/hype. There are no such things as rally reps being made any more, a piece of history in the making. Deltas have been going stratospheric for years, jdm stuff is the next era of rally cars. Never quite put my finger on the Supra thing, ok the 2jz is a great engine, but, the car isnt particularly quick (unless tuned), its not that old or wasnt when they started to rise and there are still quite a few about? I also think a big thing is, there have been no where near the number of imports coming into the country because of the exchange rate, its mainly been personal imports and specialist boutique importers, rather than say auctions at the docks, there were two at Southampton within 2 miles of each other, 200 plus cars a week each. Although i have rumour these might be back soon with the increasing exchange rate. I appreciate these were mainly banging out mpvs and such like, but there were maybe 15-20% sports cars. I bought my first Rx7 from there and a host of other stuff, 2 Supras, Evo 4 R33 Gtst (worse thing i ever bought no offence) etc I also remember seeing the odd 350z there the first year they were released over here, my first 350 was imported way back in 04.

I think common sense prevails here imho. Asking should i tell them about a change to the braking system, well yes of course as it could/will change the way the car stops, but, should i tell them about a non oem oil filter or wiper blades as mentioned else where, no, what difference does that make to the car? Incidentally, my insurance company insisted that i must have uprated brakes with my supercharged car. Stick a roll cage in, which is only going to assist in safety and your premium will go up, go figure, of course they presume you will be driving dangerously, but it could save you from serious harm. A lot of time they are only asking for "value" purposes, i.e have you got 19" lmgt 4's or other that they would have to replace if they were nicked, aftermarket ice costing a £1k etc If anyone is concerned i would just ask

All the wiring will be there, import, gt, non gt, not a chance Nissan would have two production lines to make different looms. Check your pedals, if its got cruise from std it will have the switches above the brake and clutch pedals, simplest way of finding out

I have a diesel burning daily and always wonder how diesel ends up all over the pump handles, its no different to dispensing petrol???
-
But if you go to show, they are two a penny, dont get me wrong, i had one on my old car and loved it, most definitely the best looking rear The Ings does look awesome too
-
Ings, apart from being nice, not everyone is running one either. Original one on ebay for sale at the moment too which is a bonus rather than fitting replica rubbish

Lots of chat recently by the pundits about the winglets, by all accounts they do not alter lap times and the riders notice no improvement etc Lot the same as F1 though, regularly you see end plates/hyrdofoils damaged etc and still laps times dont alter Was a good headbut though

Good feature, i like CH, but get a bit bored of his Porsche fanboi thing, so was pleasantly surprised at his views Particularly enjoying the wine comment

They are the touring wheels, both 8j. The Gt4's are 0.5" wider rear so tyres as well as wheel will fit fine
-
In a whole section for ebay finds Can a mod just delete this thread so we can have one ebay finds section please

Shown on one of the ITV channels early week

I really hope someone else watched that, best race for years and the way the winners are in the park ferme afterwards Also, hope of the first British motogp (moto 3) champion since 77 and Barry Sheene, come on Danny

Your wheels wont be standard if they are 8.5 & 9's and offset of 27, std rays are 8 & 8.5 et 30 & 33. That aside those wheels will straight on as they came of a 350z, although they are considerably heavier than std Rays if thats what you have.

Depends on use really, if its just a road car stock is good, but if you require extra cooling for fast road/track, get a dimpled or grooved disc, plenty of traders on here offering deals at the moment Its also worth doing brake lines and fluid change too

http://incartec.co.uk/nissan/1929/1036/2071/148/Browser.aspx I bought one of the fascias and trimmed it down a little, fits great now.

Yes, just bought one of the in car tech ones and it was too small, had to trim it down.

The problem with any kits are the moulds as i am sure Tarmac will agree, they degrade over time, glass not layed up properly, taken out too quicky etc etc If the manufacturer (replica or real) isnt on top of the moulds and laying up process it can be a lottery as to the finished product which is why you can get varied results. There is some good info via google searches if and when you find a kit you fancy as to general overall fitment quality from suppliers. I.e Duraflex, do a search for Duralex fitting issues. Also worth noting that if you do find a product, ask the manufacturer what kind of fitment you should expect and get some guarantee that the product will not require, reshaping, cutting etc
-
Nothing with fit like oem (stating the obvious), but you will generally get a much better fit from main manufacturers, Nismo will probably be your closest, otherwise Chargespeed, DoLuck, Ings etc will be a better bet than replica but still require work to be perfect. After having bought a replica Chargespeed rear from RT performance i wish i bought original, mainly due to having proper mounting points for things like boot release/number plate lights and utilising the original oem upper bumper mountings which the replica had neither and overall less labour to get it fitting properly.

Are you colour coding them?

I had an evo 4 for a short short time so dont know much about running costs so cant help with that, but from experience, any 2 litre engine running 400hp is going to be fragile and costly to maintain imho.
-
If TG can be good with someone else, no reason TFI cant be, as a balanced view
-
Try photobucket. Cant really see any definition on the avatar its too small. Budget wheels, Japan Racing, Rota etc, check through some of the forum traders.

Or just buy Toyos which are perfectly good tyres and get Michelins next time.
