The press are all fun and frolics and "look good old freddie drunk at number 10, what a guy!". I'm sure they'd be the same if it was Wayne and Co. FWIW - I don't think football is wonderful but I think it gets the kind of spotlight attention that no other sport does abd. I don't think sportsmen (or actors or pop stars for that matter) are supposed to be role models. Role models should be closer to home, people with which you can have two way communication.

Updated the firmware on my AVH-X2500BT and swapped out the iPhone 4 cabling for iPhone 5 - I hope they don;t change it for 6 Absolute bird's nest back there. Getting it to pieces is easy, but back together is no fun... ...espcially when you've got this length of cables to fit in there and a stupid big box - thanks Pioneer! Got there in the end. Today I've learnt: never take the console to bits without a telescopic magnet with a light on the end, always have a truck load of cable ties handy, don't assume the "pro" installation you paid for will be that tidy and don't start the job when the weather is iffy as you'll spend an hour or two in the car with the windows up sweating like a good 'un whilst it hammers down outside

If rugby is being held up as an ideal, because they don't swear, it's worth looking these role models fighting each other on rugby pitches. Swing for someone in rugby and you get a sin bin, do it on a football pitch and it's a minimum 5 game ban for violent conduct. It's easy to see what you want when getting stuck in to footballers.
