  1. Yeah I was looking at those exact ones earlier. No idea about them, hopefully someone knows...
  2. I imagine if you did get the CS kit, the best thing to do is to hose them down properly in winter use.
  3. The only other one I can see/think of is: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=78_169_293_483_485&products_id=25479
  4. Have you got 1500BHP you didn't know about ?
  5. Nothing to add experience wise mate but most of the guys I know with aftermarket systems on their GT3's/2's etc have KW's - they are very good but like you said, if you are trying to optimise it solely for track use, it could be worth the upgrade. And if that's the case, Meister R GT1's could also be an option ? (these are the ones I want OR KW's, although I believe it can be adjusted to suit needs, fast road, light track use for me) Also just checking through some details a mate said that the Clubsport kits are a heavy duty anodised finish, and the competition race kits are galvanised. (CS not really designed to be used in salty conditions) So do speak to KW if you go that route, as the CS may have or not been updated now as that info was from a few years ago.
  6. Only due to this thread did I know about it, and I've just moved to Stratford ! They need to sort out their advertising (imho), at least get something up on Pistonheads for example. I'll try and go one of the days (no car here atm) as I've not been to anything like this before, although it just depends on plans for weekend. Cheers for mentioning it.
  7. Hahaha, yes I did the same thing with Bennet last year Cheers for that link, I'll have to order some very soon.
  8. Good on you for being patient, it's the ONLY way to purchase a car. Sometimes you're lucky and the first one you try is the one to have (as it was for me) but I still tried a couple more and an RX7 for comparison. Personally, I'd just stick to holding out for one on the forum
  9. Just noticed there are some for the 350z as well... worth baring in mind.

I think it always depends on what you look for - pads / yellow / squeak etc etc Also you can always try this if no joy with forum search: 1. Go into Google. 2. Type - site:350z-uk.com [whatever your searching for here] This will only search the forum and will include archived topics.

There are TONS of threads just like this one, do try and search first pretty please. Anyway, I have new, standard EBC discs & yellow stuff pads - no cold squealing\squeaks
  12. I got the Scorpion system off, giving it a clean and will pop it up for sale. The car now sounds absolutely mental, decat, stillen y pipe into non resonated cobra. I'm just finding some odd rattle type of sounds, in the low rev range. I've tightened everything up, and couldn't spot any fouling. I'll nip into kwikfit (my local one is ok believe it or not) tomorrow morning and see if they can spot anything. Aside from that, I'm out of ideas. Quality product by the way.
  13. My one will be up for sale tomorrow most likely.
  14. You are a nutter, it's brilliant ! I just realised you mentioned it was backdated, I thought this was happening in real time Seriously impressed with the competent skills to install this, perhaps you can lend a hand when I do something daft with an engine swap (don't worry only jk, not going to happen for a long old time )
  15. I don't like it personally (although perhaps with the spoiler and wing mirrors done it'll be ok), I like the two tone on the original NSX (red body, black roof) though. However, if you like it, keep it like that
  16. As a 2nd car, or just weekend car - brilliant things (well, ok not all models). Worth being handy with spanners and soldering, also thoroughly researching before buying - ie not here, go to TVR forums I'm sure there are plenty more places to go but these guys have a good reputation for sorting the known issues... http://www.powersperformance.co.uk
  17. First rule of buying a car... don't be in a rush to buy a car ! You're just going to make a mistake, either in £££££ or that you don't like it. Just take your time. Research. Try a few out. Good luck. (oh and SEARCH the forums)
  18. Use the other one near the Students, £4.50 a day and it's a quicker walk to the Station. The only downside being it's outdoors but SFW, save money ! (and less chance of someone ruining your car - which happened twice for me).
  19. Actually this is something I've been thinking about as well. Are there any effective things we can do to protect our cars ? I was thinking something like this but I'm not really sure how effective they truly are ? http://www.amazon.co.uk/4Tress-Professional-Silver-Steering-Lock/dp/B003JMXURQ/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1399542701&sr=8-6&keywords=steering+lock
  20. Many thanks to the CS & Cobra guys, I just got a text (from my dear ol mother) to say my new pipes have arrived
  21. Yes he is but obviously best to pre-book and not just pitch up and hope he can do work for you. David. Absolutely, I wouldn't just turn up anyway, I need to give him a call towards the end of the month and get some bits rectified on the car
  22. http://www.amazon.co.uk/CAN-Bus-Trouble-Diagnose-Diagnostic-Scanner/dp/B001CBBY7O/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1399473347&sr=8-4&keywords=ODB+reader That's what I bought.
  23. I've got an orange thing from amazon, £15 - works fine for me.
  24. Nice to see some things like this going on, good stuff ! Just a couple of questions, what do you think of those coilovers ? Why did you decide on that engine specifically ? (I don't know anything about them, genuinely curious )
