  1. http://www.350z-uk.c...es/page__st__20 Same kind of problem I had, I didn't spot it initially.. kwikfit did (for free) Worth checking.
  2. Hey guys, it's provisionally sold to nbadenver, however if not wanted etc, J4YPS is next up.
  3. Hey guys, I may potentially use a courier now to post an exhaust. It has a long mid-pipe and the rear silencer, however I'd try and get it in one box. http://www.senditnow.com/ http://www.parcel2go.com/ http://www.payperparcel.co.uk/ http://www.paisleyfreight.com/ I prefer just having one set price like senditnow rather than work out the details for them (as it's miles from me at the moment), are these reliable\ok ?
  4. Once I get back in later I'll contact you guys but it does already sounds like someone serious got in touch first.
  5. It was worth more than £3mil imho. But they can be fully rebuilt at McLaren of course for a little sum
  6. SOLD TO nbadenver Quite a few guy's PM'd me regarding this a few weeks ago, however I'm not sure if they are still interested ? So in fairness, these guys PM'd first of all: torino - Sent 10 May 2014 - 12:24 toner - Sent 10 May 2014 - 19:48 J4YPS - Sent 12 May 2014 - 10:44 headrush - Sent 17 May 2014 - 16:41 nbadenver - Sent 24 May 2014 - 12:03 The exhaust is in good, fully working condition, there is a very minor impression on the right side tip though, I can leave it or tap it out with a rubber mallet. Collection from Stratford, London OR near Farnham, Surrey - which ever suits. If it's from Surrey, and on a weekend I'm happy to help fit the exhaust if needs be. £240 ono (bank transfer preferred or paypal) Right Tip: Left Tip: Mid pipe stamp: Silencer stamp: Apologies for the image sizes, heh - I thought they'd be a bit smaller. Postage isn't really ideal, and I'd prefer the buyer inspects and is happy with it first.
  7. Phew, I initially thought you guys could only hear v6's :-D A friend up north has the same set up, so I'm trying to sort something out but we'll see. Lovely machines but there is at least one Friday car on the market at the moment, so if you win, pm me and I'll advise which to avoid :-D
  8. God damn I hate using phones for this, need a mouse! So I can't circle onto the image to show where it's fouling. On the left, it's easy to see where, on the right, just in front of the y-pipe brace, kind of where on the body of the car it goes from light to dark it's just touching there. (I'll circle it another day)
  9. Haha, the Scorpion will be up for sale. I'll get photos today after I finish cleaning it.
  10. Yeah it just looked like it would fit better the other way around. So in the end, exactly what Pete described was the issue, haha. Maybe I could do the same trick to save selling/buying faff? (he used some intercooler hose at those 2 points)
  11. Not upside down but we're adjusting it, but at least we know the issue!
  12. Woo, found the problem! I lied, the y-pipe WAS fouling! Looks like the stillen was on upside down, Kwikfit spotted it just now :-D Fingers crossed.
  13. Hey, oh if we're understanding each other, the guys at h-dev put the decats on and afterwards the mid-pipe was catching the cross brace. So they put a jubilee clip onto the rubber hangar thing to help keep it up rather than sagging slightly. That's still on. I'll see if any local place can help today.
  14. Bugger. Took the heat shields off, in good condition BUT it's still rattling like a SOAB! Hmm
  15. ABSOLUTELY ! My mates old one had just under 800bhp, with KW's and on slicks at Silverstone It was certainly entertaining, until there was heat in the tyres but once up to temp, it was stupendous.
  16. Howdy, Is that enough in your opinion to do decats (non resonated but potentially getting resonated ones soon) ? Many thanks !
  17. Nice one, after seeing it in Evo, it was on my list - now it definitely is
  18. Ah I see, yeah that could be a fair alternative to do. Wouldn't it mean that another part of the exhaust could get hotter though ? (I have no idea, just throwing that out there!)
  19. So following on from my exhaust woes thread, I think the noise is coming from the part of the heat shields which aren't fixed to the car (why they designed it like that is odd). Anyway, I'm going to try ripping them out or modifying them to see if that get's rid of the cobra-induced-rattle. If it does, and they come out - I'd like to try something in their place as I can often feel some heat already with the decats there. Any recommendations as to what I could try ? http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/heat-shielding-protection
  20. Most of the time it's around 27, it was 28 before I put the Nismo wing on
  21. They are great down there mate, also worth trying Sly at Kaizer (not far either for us): http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/167-kaizer-motor-company http://www.kaizermotor.co.uk/
  22. Absolutely, I'd almost say start it around the 1 min mark - and turn up the volume !
  23. You record at a higher resolution (say 2k), then can crop in (720p). At any rate, if your camera has the same lens function as my one, no chance of it working with a normal mount.
  24. Kwikfit will do this, around £20ish per axle - just ensure they are careful, or you know them (like my local place). I was going to an independent before but I didn't really like his attitude, if he actually did a good deal, I'd have the whole lot in one place !
