  1. 1 of these: http://www.amazon.co..._pr_product_top + CoPilot on your phone
  2. It's not cheap! It's what my friend used on his 458 Speciale. Honestly the quality of it is extremely good and the car is in a slightly unusual red, Rosso Fiorano a kind of pearlescent cherry red. It still looks the dogs danglies with the film applied to that colour. However, I just wouldn't bother with anything, take care of the car (use whatever products you can, get a rotary polisher etc) and if needs be when it comes to selling, have a front end respray if there are stone chips.
  3. This isn't true from all of the cars I've seen, otherwise they wouldn't have their collections wrapped in the stuff. They typically have the entire car done, extremely difficult to see edges. It's not cheap but a quality product and finish isn't usually.
  4. My friend runs this place, and other mates take their Porsches/Lambos/Ferraris/Mac's etc to him. VERY good: http://cgperformance.co.uk/?page_id=751 There are some other products out there - these guys did a friends Speciale a couple of months ago, using Suntek protection, he's very happy with it ! http://www.topazlondon.com/ I hope you've bought an LFA.
  5. Hey Arran - just wondered what happened with this in the end ?
  6. Love these kind of projects but I'd rather go down NA route just for this kind of noise...
  7. What is your budget ? I was thinking Bilstein B16's - great company to deal with if you need rebuilds as well.
  8. Number them with tipex or something (I got a couple mixed up = subaru)
  9. Do you have a link ? (not that I can just buy a set right now of course but curious)
  10. I've finally gotten around to fitting the bulbs that Scott recommended. Certainly much better than the £25 set I bought from eBay about 2 years ago. I'm still not satisfied that my lights are bright enough though.
  11. Great post, much appreciated! Just a quick question, when installing the new bulb, do have the sort of external filament thing on the bottom/side/top? I don't know if it makes any difference but I put my ones with the filament on the bottom.
  12. Unfortunately not, problems with insurance still. It's soecialist insurance and its an absolute fortune so doesn't justfiy it. The best thing about the car is that it seems to make anyone and everyone happy/smile whenever you drive past or are in a petrol station. Always get the old timer in a battered fiesta with wife and kids in tow asking for a race. Really good fun!! I don't quite know the in's and out of that but if you are looking for a specialist insurer, PM me and I can put you in touch with someone (he deals with mates ferraris\porches\lambo's etc). Aside from that, both looking stunning !
  13. Ah, yep, makes sense, I'll do that on Sunday, and it could just need a clean I presume (at least the number plate one).
  14. Cheers. I wonder why that's happened, seems a bit odd. I did try the LED bulb the other way around as well.
  15. Hey chaps, I've noticed that the right hand bulb on the rear number plate has stopped working, as well as the interior boot light. I've just no idea where the correct fuse for it would be, probably best to check this first as they are new LED bulbs. Cheers !
  16. I've got loads of little bits and pieces I'd like to get sorted at yours, I may have to wait until January though Good news for you guys though
  17. If my plans of seeing a fav stoner band goes down the crapper, count me in.
  18. Yep, he's where I'm heading to next as well. Just need to order a couple of little bits and pieces and book it up. Hoping he can help with some little annoying things on my car
  19. Is your Miltek y-pipe back ? (So you'd be replacing the stock y-pipe ?) Replied Feepain. I have a Miltek Y pipe and the flexi joints are worn. Yeah it would probably make a slightly different sound, a bit angrier around 3000rpm onwards I'd imagine. Posting looks to be approximately £12 (via City Link). But as mentioned above, Feepain is looking like he has it for now, I'll pm you if any change.
  20. Is your Miltek y-pipe back ? (So you'd be replacing the stock y-pipe ?) Replied Feepain.
  21. That was pretty much my thinking as well, obviously I would have kept it but with the other components it just caused that issue unfortunately.
  22. Hi, Would it be possible to PM me a quote with the replacement bushes & bolt/washer/nut's (for both sides) ?
  23. Lastly, what are those bushes called if I'm on the look out to replace them ? (pointed at in the pic below)
  24. Once again - another huge huge thank you to CS, I appreciate your patience with me whilst I was fannying around ! And another massive thumbs up to Cobra Sports & their products I love the noise of my Z now !
  25. Finally up for sale is my Stillen Y-Pipe, taken from my 04 350z - previously installed with H-Dev decats & a Scorpion exhaust - no issues at all. However, with the Cobra exhaust there was some fouling due to that exhaust being lighter, the system was being pulled upwards - so you are WARNED about that. The Y-pipe was bought new from Tarmacsportz about 1 year ago, and as you can see it's in great condition. £200 - collection preferred from Stratford, London - Paypal or bank transfer. or it'll be £200 + postage (I imagine it'll be £10-15 to deliver). (you will require the bolts & gaskets - sold as seen)
