  1. Worth mentioning for some people here I should imagine. https://www.duplicolor.com/products/carbonFiber/?WT.mc_id=Promo1Marquee I'm just watching this: Obviously just an effect but probably handy...
  2. If Brad does decide to have a go on another, I'll see if we can video it for a guide
  3. If your camera is the same as my old Canon HF11, there's not a single thing you can do but get a GoPro type of camera. The camera itself (well, my HF11) has a floating lens, which basically gives you a reasonable smooth image when you're walking around for example but it cannot deal with the high frequency vibrations in a car. Even if you switch off the stabilisation function in the menu it won't help. The only way to do it is to isolate it from connecting to the car directly, and I couldn't be arsed to engineer something so I bought other cameras.
  4. Just gonna quote that so you can't go back on it I'll probably do my one at some point this year as I don't know when it was done previously, if at all !
  5. Hopefully it hasn't financially cost you a lot BUT learning from mistakes like this is actually pretty beneficial in the long term (although sodding annoying!).
  6. Well I think that's the best cover I can find, so I'll have one if my car stays in Surrey. Speaking of birdy shite, one had dumped on my bonnet, I'm not sure how many days it was on there as I came back a week later. However, it's eaten into the paint and can't be shifted with a rotary polisher FFS !
  7. I like that, and I think it'll match the steering wheel when I get around to having that done as well. Nice one !
  8. Gear change is utterly ridiculous ! Can't wait to drive a mates one once it's back (I think another mate saw your uncles one and a few others down there at Reading a week or so ago).
  9. Either Scorpion or Cobra, as to what one, I'm not sure yet.
  10. I'll head down on the Friday night after work, collect it and deafen myself and others on the way up
  11. I've been lucky enough to spend a fair old chunk of time in FGT's (including multiple times over 200mph in one!), and I absolutely love them. Anyway, this one is pretty raucous
  12. Right, next plan of attack ! I shall try and remove the heat shields above the decats but I have 2 questions. 1: Can I remove them without removing the decats ? (car isn't near by to just go and look) 2: Once removed (if this is the cause), is there another heat shield I can put in place, as I presume they are there for a good reason.
  13. I was torn between an E46 M3, RX7 (a very, very nice one) and 350z. I didn't get a chance to try an M3 out in the end but I thought they would definitely be quicker, and a stonking engine packed in there (especially the CSL). I would have thought the M3 is a nicer place to be ? Either way, welcome.
  14. I'm just gonna quote this as I'm seeing loads of new members not even bothering, fooking annoying !
  15. Well done ! Great to know when it comes to me sorting my one out at some point So once you get those bolts, should everything be ok now ?
  16. FFS how long does it take to get the fronts on as well I tend to think a lot of after market wheels just look tosh, as most owners have zero idea about style (probably me included ) - however, I have to say, these are looking like a very nice decision indeed. I'd be terrified of kerbing the buggers though !
  17. Awesome machine, I didn't realise that they had resolved the issues yet. That must be one of the first ones back as the other guys I know haven't gotten their ones just yet.
  18. The irony of adding a load of carbon fibre wrap (increasing weight)
  19. Just read the post up until now. Damn, sounds like a complete pain in the bum Not that it's any consolation but I also didn't resolve my car woes either. Where are you up to with it ?
  20. Have you thought about fabricating a brake master cylinder brace ? (ie one for an affordable price )
  21. There seems to be plenty of space between all of the potential fouling places, and it's what I expected as it had to be adjusted before the stillen pipe. The heat shields by the decats could be the culprits but only a guess. In the cabin it seems like the decat area, like directly beneath seats.
