  1. That was me! Matt did a fab job fitting this (despite my "help"!) - such a neat OEM finish too. Thanks Matt. David.
  2. Don't hold a ticket for me Andy, if there is someone else who wants it. Am happy to pay my entrance fee! David
  3. Try tightening it, that can sometimes break the seal if it has been put on with Loctite or by a Sumo wrestler who happened to be passing the build line. I had to use two BIG BIG grips on mine and it did destroy the leather but as I was replacing it I didn't mind. David
  4. Will probably trot along - I usually attend most of the meets there ... saw your Zed there at your last outing - looks quite splendid and of course is the fastest colour... David
  5. Worst thing (no... second worst) I ever did was to sell my black Brabus forfour. A total pocket rocket that with a re-map turned it into a blistering all round performer that could scare the bejeezus out of some seriously quick cars. David.
  6. Thanks for the link, yep I remember well my confusion when mine all pinged apart as I disassembled it to get the blade cut! To the OP, since I did it I have never had a single problem with the unit. I also bought two teeny weeny Nissan burger badges (they came as a pair) from eBay, to fit in the recess in the fob case. David.
  7. As in changed it to a "flick key fob"? Yes a number of us have. Try the "search" function - my stupid STUPID laptop/OS throws a dickey fit when try to paste URLs here. David
  8. ^ yes - me - wheel is in build thread. David
  9. ^^ Agree, thought about these body coloured for a while but dipped looks good. Like to see a pic from further away. David
  10. The roadster isn't fitted with the Bluetooth cradle wiring & gubbins is it? David
  11. I actually quite like it... David
  12. Oh no... Do I replace my Circuit Sport unit... How much ground clearance reduction on a standard suspension set up? David
  13. .. I took mine off last week. Pull the rubber door seal free after removing the inner plastic trim (work from rear forwards on those). Remove the small plastic pin at rear top corner then (preferably with a plastic trim removal tool) start at the forward end of the kick plate and gently lever upwards until clips break free. I think there are 4 clips in total. The clips are quite fragile but if they do break then some double sided 3M body tape can be used to re-attach. David Ceejay was on about the actual aluminium plate David as he wanted to paint it. He answered his own question anyway a post later. Good little write up though David. Ooops - I didn't read the posting properly....
  14. Pics FFS! Just for you then, no sharing with anyone else though. Ta Da.. Hope you like. I'm really pleased with them especially as my old one's where a bit scratched up. I have a pair of these and want to remove the aluminium plaque to respray. Are they bonded on? .. I took mine off last week. 15. I used Wicked Coatings to do several parts. They give a quote based on picture and once the parts are dipped send you a picture of the finished item(s). Only then do you actually pay. Top class service and results - which you can see on my build thread. David
  16. Can't say I noticed any difference in the tightness of the fitting between removing the OEM and fitting my CF strut bar. David
  17. So why don't any of the after market strut bars have any form of adjustment? David
  18. Take a photocopy of the rear of the canards and that gives you a perfect template of where the bolt holes are. Place copy up against bumper, tape it securely and drill carefully! David
  19. The CF plates replaced the aluminium OEM units, which are now in a box ready for me to sell on! David
  20. Just fitted carbon fibre sill plates as supplied by TarmacSportz - delicious weave on them - pictures don't do them justice. David. Before - aluminium trimmed plates. After - pure carbon fibre loveliness...
  21. I never undid the tension nuts on my strut bar when I took it off to replace it - just undid the bolts/nuts on the mounting plates. David
  22. I love those seats - that combination of leather and alcantara is exactly wht tI want done to mine David
