  1. I have same CF brace and they look awesome! Some sensible person should snap this up! David
  2. Core strut brace as supplied by Mark - slightly different from his standard product in that I chose not to have the 350Z cut out and Mark had it powder coated for me before I then had it hydro dipped. After dipping - trial assembly Fitted
  3. Yes he is but obviously best to pre-book and not just pitch up and hope he can do work for you. David.
  4. I stripped mine out, rubbed it down (was majorly scratched) and then used Plastidip on it. Gives a slight rubbery feel and seems the wear well. David
  5. Same as mine - black and GM - great combo! You know that to get old gear knob off you will need a big pair of grips to hold the bottom of the shaft before trying to unscrew the OEM unit - and they can be TIGHT! David
  6. I had mine done there March 13 (and had flush fit valves fitted! In my build thread somewhere) and they did a fabulous job that a year + later still look as new! Top place to go. Popping back this Saturday for some spare flush fit valves as I lost one of the covers! David
  7. You need to remove the slat covers which can be done by putting your hand down the aperture on the top panel where the bonnet catch is and unscrewing the covers from the rear. David
  8. Your standard nuts inc locking, fit OK. David
  9. Brunnchen is the name of "that" corner... David
  10. I recently fitted Michelin Stealth blades and have found them very effective and provide a sleek look too. David
  11. I have similar flush fit valves on mine. There is a small screw in adaptor that allows you to connect a standard air hose line for pressure check/adjustment. On my valves there also a plastic screw on cap that protects it during normal use and keeps the crud out of the valve assembly. David
  12. My plenum is satin black - which I think works well with the general carbon themed look (other opinions DO exist!) David

    Opinions...

Fitted one of these to mine about 8 months ago (is in my build thread) - a good styling mod - well done! David
  14. SERIOUSLY... even watching people on it, LOOKING OVER THE GLASS PANEL - FFS!!!!!! Palms- all sweaty again..
  15. Likely to be at Grand Canyon later in year but there is NO way on this earth I would venture on to that!!! FFS - it makes my palms sweat just looking at the picture! Funny thing vertigo - doesn't bother me in an aircraft (regardless of size) but terrifies the bejeezus out of me on something like that! Can you imagine what it took to build the darned thing! (uhoh there go the palms again...) David
  16. Bear in mind that no aftermarket strut brace has any form of tension adjustability I can't believe that there is an imperative to set the standard brace to a specific tightness with zero tolerance. "Good 'n tight" would be seem sensible OR approach one of the independant dealers and ask for their opinion - or if close enough ask them to do it up for you. David
  17. Can I have a set of DE engine cover bolts only in silver please (to match my set from 1st buy). David
  18. The carbon surround is from Evo-R.net. Now some members on here have had problems with very VERY long delivery times and poor comms from Evo-R. All I can say is I have ordered twice from them and in both instances the items have arrived swiftly, well packaged and superbly moulded. Also note that each time I had to pay import duties. Having said all that I am more than happy with my purchases. David
  19. I prefer something round and substantial in my hand... so... fittted the MOMO RaceAir in perforated leather to match my steering wheel.
  20. I have Milltek and Berks HFC and find them a great combination. As long as all warmed up, MOT won't give you a problem. Davi
  21. 2nd customer here (was checking For Sale/Member Trader section!)... although will prob have it dipped or powder coated and perhaps prefer without the 350Z cutout? David.

    Tokyo

"Those" vending machines do exist... I lived in Seoul and Tokyo for several years (preferring the former to the latter) and yep there are some unusal purchases that could be made (so I am told ... ). David
  23. I have a completely standard one available too. David
  24. That's the setup I use (DAS-6) - had it for about 3 years also from Polished Bliss - and it gives a great finish. Def recommend the Menzerna polishes. David
