Unlocked sealed 64gb iPhone 6's are sub £450 on eBay.

I image the M2 is supposed to be a P2 which would be a major service. Was it a P1 before that? The only real difference between the 2 is the air filters get changed at the P2 and P3 interval. I wonder if the service alert you got has anything to do with the spark plugs? You'd be around the right mileage/age for them now.

Here's the real reason- I just had the M6 serviced, I purchased all the fluids myself, some from the local main dealer who had the wrong diff fluid listed on their computer for the car, so I had to google the part number to order it. If if have just handed the car in to get serviced, it would or have the wrong diff oil. That's not even the big reason, the big reason is I asked them for their labour rate and they quoted me £100+VAT! Since I was having quite a major service it was likely to take a few hours, I'm not paying £360 for a service which doesn't include parts! I went to a well regarded BMW Indy about 10 miles away, he cut his teeth in my local Nissan dealer then went on to Bavarian BMW (biggest BMW dealer in NI) and from there to BMW Sydney, so he knows a thing or 2 about about BMWs. What really impressed me was his knowledge of what oils I should be using, when I mentioned the diff he made sure I had the right stuff, not the oil listed on BMWs system or some rubbish from OpieOils or the like. That gave me the confidence to use him. I dropped the car off for all oils to be changed, called back the next day, handed him £100, got the book stamped and a receipt and off I went home, £260 better off than if I'd used the main dealer, plus got a mechanic who knew what he was doing without using a computer to give him a step by step guide.

06 nicer interior and more powerful engine worth it?
KyleR replied to Luke350's topic in 350Z General
That's a very good question. On the face of it, I wouldn't have thought that the visible part of the facelift couldn't have added more than a few kg's. Rays came as standard from 06 onwards so maybe a few kilos there? So you have to presume that they did a lot of undocumented changes such as beefing up the chassis. The HR is pretty much the same weight as the 06 facelift BTW. I've got the weights from various sources and presume they are correct. So, it's a bit of a mystery. Pete I'm still puzzled as to the 70kg, but Various sources agree with you. The Rays would lower the weight by probably 15kg over the 4 wheels and the visible changed would surely add next to nothing, under a kilo IMO as the bumper is just a slightly different shape and so the the centre console, no ore and no less plastic, just a different shape I wasn't aware of the chassis adjustments, but surely they couldn't have added 70kg extra metal? It would be interesting to get a 2004 and 2006 and weigh them side by side to see. -
Did you provide them with all the receipts of the materials you used for the servicing? Because thats history too. Just because theres no stamp doesn't mean theres no history.

I'd say it's more autopilot advertising than stamping up a book. Most likely the person putting it up just assumed it had FSH.

06 nicer interior and more powerful engine worth it?
KyleR replied to Luke350's topic in 350Z General
Yup, 06 cars have the De RevUp engine with produces 20BHP more than the 03-05 cars. There are slight exceptions such as late registered cars and the GT4 limited edition model in 05 with has the old exterior and interior, but the 06 RevUp engine. The RevUp and HR both have the same interior and exterior (except bonnet bulge to accommodate taller HR engine), the only difference is the engine. If I ever get back into a 350, it'll 100% be an HR. The interior differences are subtle and some may not notice, but the centre console and doorcards are different and IMO better. The exterior differences include all for lights (much better looking than the DE's and worth the premium on their own) and the front bumper in mildly different, plus the bonnet on the HR as previously mentioned. -
Just bring it to an indy mechanism somewhere and get all fluids and spark plugs changed if you're not sure where it stands. So thats, Engine oil and filter, air filter, brake and clutch fluid, coolant, gearbox oil and differential oil. It'll be pricey, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Don't worry about the engine, but the updated interior and exterior is well worth it IMO. -
The Z4MC is a stunning machine, much prettier than the 70 and will keep its money better too.

I think I know which trader(s) it is and they should be ashamed of themselves. This is a community for Zed enthusiasts who help eachother out and sometimes save eachother some money through advice or group buys. This was one of those occasions cutting out the middleman would be beneficial and the middleman threw the toys out of the pram. One thing some traders need to remember is that this place is for the owners, the enthusiasts, not them. -
Nope, looks fine.
-
I think 19's look better, however if they are very heavy and dulling performance there's no point putting £800 of rubber on them when you can put £600 of rubber on wheel half the weight and benefit 2 fold in performance.

Can you not tap into the sidelight?

I'm no expert but I think you're in the wrong place. The wires in the mesh will be a very high voltage on startup and will probably fry the DRLs.

Someone tried this with Hel lines and it got cancelled due to one or more traders complaining to Hel about it. Hopefully the same won't happen here because this it a great deal! -
I have no idea, but D2S are required for the 2006+ facelift bixenon headlamps, D2R for the early Xenon one.
-
H7 is the full beam bulb, D2R is the HID Xenon bulb for main beam which is located behind the projector lens.

Apparently Bosch aren't as good as they used to be, Valeo appear to be a better wiper at the moment.

Looks well, mate, just need some spacers so sit the wheels out a bit

Absolutely, but that is worlds away from offering opinion on values, discussion about the item, especially when opinions on value can differ so drastically and your right, it is a great community, but as before, if your looking out for a fellow member and feel they have over priced their item, it doesnt need to be pubically discussed, a pm wil do. To be fair, if a member cant work out their item for sale isnt shifting because of price, telling them isnt going to make much difference anyway, but on the particular add in question the comments were posted within 12 hours and that was overnight and to add insult to injury he was then questioned as to why he had 2 cars for sale There were even comments about do you want to sell some parts, which again I had when selling my car, its not a breaking add either. Speaking all from very bitter experience of a good car sliding into the wrong price bracket and its the start of that slippery slope. And what? Are people not allowed to ask questions or make suggestions? It's pretty rare for a member to have 2 zeds and therefore the question was asked, I'm 100% certain no malice was meant by it. As for asking if they would consider selling some parts, what wrong with that? Everyone knows you'd get more if you strip the car back to standard and sell the mods, nothing wrong with asking about it.
