Hard to see the damage on the phone, but it doesn't look that bad and initial thoughts are it could be easily fixed by a bodyshop for less than the £415.
On the other hand, wings are cheap like the eBay link, get him to knock £500 off and take it as is. Labour costs in a paint shop will be much cheaper painting a panel off the car than on it because they don't have to mask up anything. I think it could all be done for not much more than £300 including the new wing.
If you can supercharge the Z for under £4k I'd be impressed.
Tarmac has a thread up about a Vortech bulk buy with about 20% off ATM, thats about £3k for that kit, then injectors, rails, oil cooler, and fuel return system = not to far off £4k
You're basically sticking sunglasses on your zed. Do sunglasses let the same amount of light through to your eyes? How much? 20% tint reduces light output by approx. 20%, 30% tint reduces output by approx. 30% and so on and so forth
SOLD!!!
It's just a shame the inside looks a bit cheap with that carbon looking plastic stuff. It would also be good to know fitting and mapping costs from them, but the price of the S/C is similar to the Zed which can add over 100 extra horsies
Why no ?
It's very Elise esq. I couldn't live with that on a daily basis, sometimes it's nice to just be in quiet comfortable car.
Also it has to be serviced every 4.5k
Serviced every how long? Whats the engine made of? Chocolate?
Someone posted something up recently, I can't remember the name of the product, but it was something armour, or armour something. It's a wipe and the more you use it the more black it gets...
Tell me it didn't?
As for brakes and drop links, all easy to do yourself with a jack and a few simple tools. Drop links are a common failure, so best to sort them all out now before zeditus gets a hold of you and cleans your bank account out
Would be nice to have all the Nismo parts, however, at around £60-£80 for an oil cap, I passed. There are replica (*cough* fake*) ones about for about £15 on eBay if that interests you...
Sorry that someone is thieving around your way, however, a missing bung, perfect excuse to buy a completely new full system that doesnt need bungs and wont fall apart
Take one of the splash guards off under the arch and you'll see an after market ballast in there if there is one, otherwise there'll be a 3" x 3" black metal box attached to the bottom of the headlamp unit with a grey clip from the loom attached.
If you google 350z ballast you'll see what you're looking for.
I'd say your right with the slave. I'd say Clark Motorsports do the same package as Alex used to: slave cylinder, braided clutch line and fluid. Can't remember the price, though, I'm sure it was under a ton.
The Flexi thing has been discussed a few times before. It makes sense because of the movement of the engine, but even with that in mind, I don't think anyone has had a Stillen fail. It might be interesting to contact Stillen to ask them about their choice. Also worth noting that some Invidia Gemini systems don't have flexi's. Mine does, but I think BulletMagnets doesn't.
Paint warranty is 6 years I think, so yes, you're still covered, but, they will say its a stone chip, even though it's on the roof where you are extremely unlikely to get one.
