The ballast is a power pack kind of thing the all xenon lights need due to the large voltage they need to start up.

Alright mate, I only ask because in this thread title your asking for an HR exhaust. Not that it matters, the exhausts are the same, just the cats are different

Also make sure they're right bulbs you bought. D2R for pre 06 cars with the orange reflector down the side and D2S for the BiXenon 06+ With the 4 orange LEDs at the top corner.

Pretty sure Neil is right with it being the ballast. You can get em on eBay for about £50-£80 each an d it's a very easy swap over, especially since you have the lamp out already.

Second hand bucket seats pop up pretty often on eBay for around £100

Sorry its 4 days, you have an approved trackday operator list but its pretty extensive and you also have to inform the company when you attend an event. 10% excess (minimum of £500) on any accidental damage or fire I am with Reis, anyway, the point of thread is more overall costs without getting into the bun fight that is insurance Just for your own car or someone else's too if you happen to take someone out with you?

It's actually a 2 piece as there is a carbon fiber diffuser for the bottom, but They can be bought separately and I'm sure most people don't bother with the latter part unless they have the Nismo Edition. Not that that makes any difference, though

You will only have auto-leveling lights and washers if your car has Xenon lights. Maybe imports don't as they were an option in Japan, but standard in the UK. Same goes for Brembo brakes, standard in UK, Japanese option.

I've never seen one but I'm sure there's something similar somewhere.

Are the AMS ones undersized or OEM? Maybe they do both?

Check out the service history etc then phone insurance to check prices with it being an import, then offer him £5k take it or leave it!

I've had mine that low without ragging it. Just moving it about the driver leaving it running for a while to warm it up when working on it etc
