  1. Depends what you mean by better? Better looking? Better made? Best gains? Better reliability? Oh who am I kidding, the Wasso spacer is the one to go for, all one piece, made in the uk, polished up and anodised, looks great! Look in member traders section for the thread or send wasso a pm
  2. What sort of tax would you pay for a run of the mill 1600?
  3. +1 But I do agree with your point. I do about 4k max a year which equals X amount of emissions, in the zed and pay near on £300 for the privilege. Whereas someone in a smaller engined car doing 3-4 times more mileage than I, which then emits more crap into the atmosphere, pays half of what I do. In my opinion, since the road fund licence is based on emissions, it should be scrapped and included in the price of fuel.
  4. And then tomorrow your car has no wing mirrors? Personally I would have told them to being me to their house where I can deliver the bikes and why I have them to their parents, then if it ever happens again you'd have a good place to start looking for them.
  5. It's a replica chargespeed, I'm betting a RT performance one with the slots filled in.
  6. Seriously interested in the ARB's, drop-links and door cards
  7. If they'd spent £10k+ fitting a twin turbo etc I could see where he was coming from, but it's just a clean Zed with a few replica parts and nice wheels. He says he's spent £20k on it, if that includes buying the car in the first place, then he's close, but theres only half that spent that I can see on the car.

    Belts...

Zed doesnt have a cam belt, it has a chain, the 2 belts you know of are aux and ac. Can be done yourself if you follow a guide. Belts available from Alex or eBay
  9. Yup, that's why I sold my charcoal leather and bought some Alezan to replace them, perfect contrast.
  10. Have a look through the many threads in the member builds section in modification. Lots of ideas in there
  11. truck? http://oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/truck
  12. Thanks Reeco I got half lucky with being a cheapskate buying second hand cheap K-sports. They have a lower drop on the rear than the eibachs, but the near side is a few mm lower than offside and the fronts are flaking and rusting after only having them 6 months. So coilovers are most certainly high on the list!
  13. They're too awesome to make more, just scrap the moulds
  14. I can't remember how much he sells them for, check out his forum section, it's all in there. I think it was around £280 though, definitely under £300.
  15. Depends on budget or what you're looking for?
  16. A small difference between left to right is normal, but I'm talking a mm or 2. Have you checked to see if the problem side is seated correctly in the pan? If it is and the spring isn't broke then it sounds to me like you need a new shock.
  17. Im on the computer now and just got in the best I could to the picture, they look 100% standard to me
  18. Thanks everyone I know Carrie, I haven't even contacted him yet because I still need to get hold of a CF one. Missed one on eBay last week by a few quid
  19. Oh right are they the facelift ones then? i think his are actually custom glas ones though which would be crazy money. Sweet cheers mate, as soon as i have my lip paid for and sorted ill be looking for some, its the girlfriends birthday at the end of this month and my tax is due to sim a bit tight for £ right now. Thanks man, yeah they're phils old wheels, thats how i ended up with static clique, hes a top guy, he needs to get a build thread up on here his is looking insane now! i just read the slammed media shoot of your car, looks dope! the rotas really suit it, you were at trax right? and your lip is really similar to the one i desperately want! I'm on mobile so can see the picture ow fully well, have you a link to some of that car? He may have customer the insides with an STi lens which is clearer than the Zeds and maybe threw a few LEDs or painted.
  20. The rear quarter can't be removed, it's welded on, but might be able to reach from the arch some way?
  21. KyleR

    Z tyre widths

If your car isn't lowered, you will have a big arch gap whether you go for series 40 or 45 tyres in the correct widths. If the car is just an a-b vehicle that looks good, keep the standard sizes, there's no real advantage if you don't need more grip.
  22. Terence - you mention who the original owner bought it from, but where did you buy it? Was it an Indy dealer, Nissan or other main dealership? As Ekona said, no need to remove anything, just pop the hood and post the picture, that way we/you can be 100% on what you have and you can take that knowledge to whomever you bought from.
