  1. I think you're sort of ok in the high parts of the peaks and mountain passes. At least we've never seen any police or cameras there. In the lower sections, yes, and on the main roads entering and exiting in between villages. Still need to be very careful and it only takes one bell-end to ruin the trip. 2. Not a silver cross jobby but wondering whether it practical to take those things on a bus and to push it atound the event all day. First time with a baby so not sure how it works. Will she need ear defenders?? Reticent to drive there from sw london given the horror traffick on the M3. Also looking like it might be a bit damp and grey... Thanks guys Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  3. Used berks on my 350 and 370, combined 38k miles with no problems. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  4. DCT M235i is very fast in a straight line and twisties, can keep up with an exige or fezza no probs. Speed is dead TBH its all going to be about feedback and feel going forward. When your dad's tesla can outrun a lotus (when towing a lotus) and a 30k 4pot turbo hatch does sub 8 mins at the ring, time to give up and get a caterham. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  5. That is one hell of a convoy... Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  6. Dvla, insurance, council parking permit, nissan (pcp), anyone else?? Thanks in advance guys Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  7. Interested to hear user reviews on these. Are they too obtrusive / obvious? Do they last more than a week? If you scuff the plastic how do you replace individual rims? Seem a little expensive at sixty odd quid for 4... Thanks, DT Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  8. Oh and 5tu you'll impressed at what a Cobra zorst can do for you. Add Berk cats for extra fireworks. Best of all i'm 10,000 miles in and still no CEL Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  9. But that's the whole point of Nismofication. GT cruisers emphasise torque in the midrange but sports cars are designed to be kept on the boil where maximum power is i.e. north of 7000rpm in this case. The more aggressively you drive the Niz the more you'll get out of her, up until about 8/10ths. After that you'll probably crash. As i've said elsewhere there are a lot of variables to consider comparing the two cars; gearing, traction, aero, compliance, differential locking etc. The 370zn should be 15 seconds quicker around the ring than the 350. 10. If the wofe lets you then an elise or cayman would be great, failing that you're not going to lose anything on a Z4M unless you put silly miles on it. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  11. Not seen any but i generally avoid looking at my front bumper what with all the stone rash and baked-on insects plastered over it. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  12. £40k list? Jeeeesus it needs to be fast for that kind of money. Also interesting to see how the other Cherman rocketship A45 has depreciated, tons hitting the market off lease now. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  13. Not a huge difference in power to weight between a 350HR and 370, only 13bhp, most of it from 5400rpm+. More than just about straight line speed though... Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  14. Yeah it can be a problem due to the different nismo bumpers, that does look a bit aftermarket. In terms of fit the cobra zorst looks best imho, followed by the Ark jobby. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  15. Obviously test drive some 370s as they are quite different from the 350. Don't treat it like a linear upgrade. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  16. Otherwise known as the Potenza effect? Disappointing not to print under 13 seconds i guess... Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  17. Motordyne gear is expensive but has a great reputation. Would run a full MD exhaust solution if i could afford it. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  18. Supercharging is pointless, barely adds value to the car for your 10k, increases weight in the nose, complexity, oil change frequency and still wont make the car faster on track without addressing the crappy tyres, springs and diff. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  19. Lovely colour and stripes mate, well done. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  20. But like selling vhs or cassettes these days, probably no point but there might be a market for them in 50 years. In the meantime, enjoy the music Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  21. Lots of factors at play here. Throttle response, gearing, power curves, damping, aero, tyres, traction control etc. You can't just look at straight line performance. The 370 is a more rounded package and by comparison i find my old DE less planted / snappier around the bends, less confident over 100mph which is when the Nismo aero really kicks in, more reliant on torque rather than the last 500rpm. The Nismo spools from 120 to 150 with a lot more gusto where the DE would start to get a bit jittery at 120. The DE was all about 3rd gear for me. The Nismo is about keeping it on the boil, enjoying the more playful rear end and smashing her well into triple figures. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  22. Probably more for a new box and a 3 month wait :/ Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
