  1. Had the choice of buying all three. Standard 370 looks gash, Nismo MkI is the business, the alloys are worth the £5k difference alone. Just wish it came with the MkII Recaros even if people say they're less comfy on long journeys. Looks wise the MkII just looks confused to me with its nondescript alloys, stumpy wing and massive fat arse. Also dislike the fact the MkII has active sound enhancement :-/ Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  2. Hmm not sure if the stillen can pull that off... Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  3. MPSS help a bit and the MkII nismo onwards come with additional deadening in the wheel arches. I cant hear mine over the nest of angry rattlesnakes though! Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  4. Tyre roar is an issue....until you fit a cobra and HFCs :o Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  5. As someone else said, it's just about the most reliable RWD 320bhp car out there. The post 2012 cars particularly so. Are they the last one word in refinement and build quality? No. Would i personally run one out of warranty? No. But the powertrain is fundamentally solid. Things that might cost scary money are the connect premium hdd (£10k?). Off topic but my 9 year old 350z was kinda reliable, just lots of little £100 or £200 bills rather than anything 4 figures. Still left me stranded a couple of times, loved her though! 6. Have one on my nismo. Its ok drone wise at 3k rpm / 70mph. Not great compared to the miltek but ok. Once you put the hfc sports cats on it gets really bad (earplugs required!), but omfg you have nest of seriously angry rattlesnakes in the cabin with you and the sound outside the car is just amazing, gets lots of compliments, even from ferrari owners. 7. Read up on catalytic converters and you'll figure out why. Platinum isn't cheap... Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks Sipar - I'm guessing it's going to be a new bumper job, the plastic is likely to be warped beyond repair. But I'm no expert.... Can't be ars*d with photobucket - pic on the other forum if you're desperate to see it
  9. It's defo repairable. On the upside a neighbour just knocked on the door and admitted liability for reversing into me. Details exchanged, over to his insurers. Just hope I can get it back before Xmas and not be given a Micra courtesy vehicle in the meantime.
  10. Lol OK I'm a bit stressed right now and am in a general mode of disbelief. Apologies Zman
  11. is there a guide on how to post photos to the forum? I can't seem to clear any from my gallery and only have 680 bytes (bytes!) remaining.
  12. Seriously?! Its black. My excess is £1k, can't believe it would be a £2k job. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  13. How much do you think a new MkI 370 Nismo front bumper would cost to buy, spray and fit?
  14. Personally I'd save a few grand and get the best 350HR over the worst 370. It'll hold its value better on a relative basis, looks nicer, sounds nicer with very little real world difference in performance. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  15. Have to admit red and black works well on the gtr. Nice motor. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  16. Taken from my mate's Exige prior to sale, a bit silly but suits a ridiculous bosuzoku Nismo really well :o Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  17. Averaged 23mpg in my 370zn, 13k miles of mayhem :o Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  18. Absolutely. You'd be mad not to. You'll liberate additional BHP by removing the stock cats and using resonated or High-flow versions instead but it will make the exhaust much louder, with possible rasp or drone (but I love it tbh) I went for a Cobra which fits the Nismo rear diffuser better than anything else IMHO. Slash tips too. The Ark looks a bit aftermarket but has a following here. I'd experiment with the Cobra first and then install high flow cats at a later date if you want more decibels and power.
  19. Note that the 4c looks amazing....until you put a number plate on it. Looks terrible, particularly with 7 digits. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  20. A poxy little 1.4 abarth costs nearly £400 to service at my local dealer.
  21. This is probably true. Fiat group parts and servicing costs for their Alfa and Abarth labels is ridiculous btw.
  22. I think all of the 4C's negative aspects can be offset by the power of its fanny magnet. You will literally be knee deep. Go forth and multiply!
  23. Thanks but i did the paperwork old fahioned way, online only works mon to fri! Now regretting it Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  24. So the current plate owner (a good friend of mine) completed the V778 retention doc with my details and gave it to me to send with my V5C last week, but I got the the left half of the V5C back yesterday along with a note saying that they didn't understand why I sent it to them! Very confused - never changed registration before but I really like the new plate number! What is supposed to happen, is this process normal? Cheers, DT
  25. Thanks payco, is the traffic better than FoS?? Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
