I have yellowstuff. No squeak, excellent cold bite, positive feel. I'd recommend them, certainly for fast road / commuting / all year round etc.

Zero in 26 years driving. I've had a couple of waved fingers from road side speed gun cops before though

Muteki super tuner nuts M12 x 1.25 from Tarmacsportz should do the trick I would have thought. These come with an extension socket. I have these with my Rota GTRs which have small lug holes too. There are cheaper chromed types around too - which take a 19mm socket IIRC.

Tried mine today! (sorry no pics - my bad, but rest assured, it looked just like yours). Big difference in how quick the big white bottle runs out vs the tiny grey bottle of the Karcher! I was expecting it to last ages, but it was gone in a flash. Precious got Bilt Hamber, approx 2-3 cm in white bottle, topped up with water. Second thing, I intuitively expected the + to mean more foamy, except fully minus was best/thickest. I have a fairly low pressure / bad water feed - part of the reason for Karchering to make a decent flow. I liked the 'airport fire appliance style' foam spreading blades! Hilarious jets are possible if not spreading Next the wife's civic got treated to the Demon wash/foam stuff. That went surprisingly well too. Much thicker than previously. So, I fully agree, this is a worthy £27 spent! Excellent tip GMb

All 350Z's have high bite? Thats interesting. Mine's feels about 3 inches off the floor (less when hot) - maybe my slave is on the way out. I've often thought the traffic jams I sometimes have to endure will one day result in my slave going pop. 50K BTW.

Hi Shane, My JDM already had a top cubby without a satnav in it, so I used an Arkon stick mount - about £3.99 imported from Westconvonian via eBay IIRC. I believe the empty cubbys are around - don't know where from though. Since that picture, I have installed the Garmin Nuvi above by drilling into the cubby for a usb and aux aerial connection for traffic, routing power back and aerial up. My cubby was fully sealed originally - I believe others (maybe UK non-GT - guessing here) come with holes already. Big plus for my Garmin is that it's removable for map updates etc. Others have also made theirs better looking by making/installing a surround around the unit. All good

Well thanks to Steve Techinstaller's generosity in sending me FREE brackets (cockles of heart warmed on that one) - arrived in the post yesterday, I have had an epic day installing this: Of course I dismantled half my car in the process, routing wires from the boot to the HU, fiddling with my sub, wrapping miles of pvc tape around looms, moving and organising looms and plugs, soldering, splicing, and zipping about a billion cable ties. Cccoooold wind today too. Once you start pulling plastic off, its hard to stop until there is no plastic left Reverse cam, radio and iPod all work fine. Excellent sound too - I like the touch screen audio setup. Only bugs are the CD door is too tight - TBH I didn't know I had an ejector that did *that* And my aftermarket iPod extension is too short to go all the way back. Easy dismantle/tweek/reassemble fixes rather than more installation - but that'll do for today. Ignore the trim mark next to the display on the LHS - it was already there These brackets are definately better than the aftermarket plastic setup I had before. Much more secure, if a tiny bit more hassle.

Interesting all this. I must say that I put Eibach ARBs on my JDM last year, and I absolutely love them! Really! Almost night and day, using settings soft front, medium rear, cornering is on rails now (and I love that). I also bought a set of Zeta-S (but to my ETERNAL shame, I still haven't fitted them since last Autumn - too pretty to spoil over winter - can't take car off the road for too long - yadda yadda). It's tricky getting dynamics right certainly I'm hoping the Zetas (when I eventually fit them) will take a bit of bump off my current JDM ride Adjustability is a good thing, although as people have mentioned on other threads, once a setting is found, 90% of the time it stays there. My old GTV6 was lowered and had spax dampers in the early 1990s. It seemed 14 (out of 30) clicks were permanently ideal for everything

I seem to be drawing a blank here. Does anyone have any OEM double din stereo brackets (the oddly shaped metal plates annotated 'bracket' in the lower image) for sale or even scrap? I have a Scosche facia amongst other bits, and have considered modding a single din conversion - most double din kits require existing OEM brackets in any case it seems, so sourcing OEM brackets would be optimal. I have tried all of our esteemed sources on here so far, and unfortunately I have been unlucky. My car was converted to single din ages ago, and I have Pioneer AVH-X5500BT to fit. It's been sitting upstairs in my spare bedroom since last year Brackets missing must be a common non-GT / JDM problem? Cheers Chris

That little button activates or disables the mirror tilt feature. Put your car in reverse (ignition on) and press it once (it does not click or anything) - you may find your mirrors suddenly start tilting. It enables and disables this feature. To make them fold, the armrest rocker switch must be over on the right side too. Else they stay out when locking the car. Mine's a version S. I know nothing about corner sensors though.

^^ What he said. Even if things are going well, stupid things can still happen. I fitted my reverse camera yesterday, and whilst the bumper skin was off (to do the job right), noticed the abortion of fog lamp wiring. Whilst improving it, the pvc tape dropped out of my pocket and started rolling away down my drive. Well a quickly propped up bumper skin becomes one that, like toast, lands on its face - all for the sake of a catching a roll of tape. Oh course my shiny bumper skin didn't fall on the grass, but on the drive and found a stone, leaving - you guessed it - a scratch. Ho hum.

Fine tyres MPS2. I have 275/40/18 on 18x9.5" rotas on the back of mine. Very grippy. Edit. Clearly beer and lateness is getting to me. This is a 370 thread and I didn't notice - I'm not worthy to comment - ignore :lol:
