I am feeling generous.. and will send you the connector for free if you like or you can PayPal postage if you want, unless you want some dampers to go with it (see my fuel bits sale ad that my pump was on). Mine is from my FairladyZ/350z so no doubt about it being correct. It came from doing this to the old fuel pipe when I upgraded my fuel return system to the epic stage 2 CJM system - which replaced the main pipe with AN and a fatter hose. OEM quick link and insert can be seen here.. followed by AN couplings install.. Involved a lot of wallowing around under the car to get to this (all on axle stands and ramps) I would recommend just replacing the insert to have done with it, and not modding the OEM pipe as you can have all sorts of drama upgrading your pipes due to the way they are stubborn with access. Also, my AN fitted pipe was part of the greater system in the CJ kit, so it all had to come off to replace ALL of the fuel system right up to injectors and back. Not sure you would want to mod a standard fuel line to be AN for the sake of it Pics circa 2015. Gotta love excuses for pics.

I think Ava wants the plastic insert in the quick connector to the fuel bucket - not the pump (which I supplied). I have a quick connector from a chopped off fuel pipe (fuel bucket end) if needed, which has the plastic retaining insert in it and could be cannibalised. The other method with CJ’s conversion AN fitting would require you to put a AN fitting on the end of the fuel pipe. Ava PM me too if you like.

Can I play the “show us your charger” game too? Here is mine.. belt sits exactly in the middle of the big cog and is perfectly at the end of the s/c cog. V3SCi not V2 however. Spacers as shown but no washers. Belt is original supplied with the Vortech kit. The (lightly tensioned) tensioner has a small bit of tolerance between the pulley flanges and the sides of the belt. Taken in my garage so flash lighting is a bit weird.

OEM cats previously and Fast Intention HFC since 08/2014, also supercharger went live 11/2014, so S/C+HFC MOT dates 2015 onward. This shows HFC and supercharged tuning performance during stoichiometric testing continues to be spot on. No issues with getting it through the emissions MOT what so ever.

Thanks monkey.. I went for a nice 106 mile fun-ride in it around Bucks a couple of weeks ago - it is a great car and I will miss it. I also had a poke around underneath yesterday - the paint and protection I put on when I was still developing is standing up pretty well, glad to say, even after a few years as my daily. Needs a bit of a clean and a few minor touch ups, but its sound. Some zeds are atrocious downstairs (just ask people like Japex about what they have seen on other cars, even 370Z’s) - but not this one! Idle is still perfectly stoichiometric Brakes still have plenty left on them (usual yellow stuff contact marks on the blades, but thats normal) There has been some interest on PM so far, but money and distance have been issues. Ideally I want someone to take it over, give it a body kit perhaps, and at the same time fix the paint blemishes / bumper rash as I intended to do in the past. Also it could be an excellent donor to other peoples pride and joy if they want to low cost FI too (sacrilege but I need to move on).

Do you have the uprev cable? Mines in Australia so can’t really remember if you can still do it after they ‘upgraded’ the software, but it used to have a test where each cylinder could be switched off - easy way to track one out of 6. Obvs assumes you have the cable etc.

Hi, yes it is an exact replacement. Remember to buy a new fuel bucket tank grommet (eg Clark Motorsports) if you haven’t already - pretty much no chance of reusing the old grommet as they expand in an instant. Drop me a PM for more info.

Ok then.. due to popular encouragement, I’ll bung another £1000 on the asking price then. The ultra-bargain window is shut - that will now pay for my Oz car (Precious 2) as well as its ridiculously expensive Queensland registration charges now.

Naawww... that idea does not spark joy.. I’m only advertising on here so far as I wanted it to go to a good clubbie home and be looked after and possibly modded further... if it were cannibalised and then dumped on the open market for the eBay/Facebook brigade, I’d be sad. I suppose I can’t control what happens after sale however. Buying stuff new, the modification parts alone added up to over £13k not including ordinary maintenance parts, running costs or ownership etc. I can see why you’d be tempted to use mine as a donor. Have you seen the roadster on eBay for £10k? I think I’d need an offer higher than current asking price, to get me over the sentimental hump if it’s (her) fate was to be split up. I’m starting to think my price is too cheap anyway
