  1. Pro Bolt are the place to go! If you ask Sarah(Chillired) she might help you out if she's feeling nice! She helped me out a lot and I wasn't even buying the bolts from her!
  2. The only thing I have against that is if the inside and outside lanes are clear, you decide to undertaken to make a point and then they hit you, it's your fault. Aren't there new police measures coming into place about undertaking? Where they can fine/give you 3 points for doing it when the inside lane is clearly free for overtaking the numpty? Instead of giving a fine/points to the numpty in the middle lane they're deciding to give it to people who undertake the numpty to prove a point as they deem it as dangerous. This thread just reminds me of every time I watch a police show on TV, everything about the policing and court system in this country riles me up. So many actual criminals get away with ridiculous things or very light prosecution and then someone doing something minor and a mistake for the first time gets @*!# on by the officer because he feels like it. /rant
  3. Well I'm gonna clean it all up then polished plenum, new engine cover, cooling plate, hoses, grounding kit, new bolts. It's all waiting for the wallet to open nice and wide!
  4. man this Berry Blast smells gooood! Just tried it out after using Megs Super Degreaser on the battery and fluid covers to see what it's like, I did half the bin lid as well so I could see a 50/50, looks good so far! Big engine degrease, rinse and dress tomorrow along with fitting RTCustomZ airbox conversion, engine bay bolts!
  5. Couldn't see Japspeed K2 exhaust? Only had Japspeed decats under Exhaust > Japspeed.

    Fiat 500

Been for a drive in one of the twin air ones, sounded like a diesel, really loud and clunky. Think she wants 1.2 for the cheaper tax and better fuel consumption. I like them, look decent and drive decent. Hopefully I don't find many known problems with them or any that are quite costly. Thanks for the tips Lexx, found a couple of good threads on here

    Fiat 500

Missus is looking at a new car, said she's had enough of my Fiesta and wants a Fiat 500. I know they're literally the same car as the new Ford KA besides the outer shell and that's what you pay for, but it's a woman. She wants something pretty! Anyone had any experiences with them? Wives/Girlfriends/Boyfriends got one? Trying to find a members club online to see if there are any common problems but they all seem to be for the old 500.
  8. I've got my rear side windows tinted limo black and was thinking about getting the rear done as well. What's it like for seeing out of at night? Don't want to get a rear tint if you can't see anything or hardly anything when driving at night!
  9. You have to let through a certain amount of light don't you for MOT? I remember reading something about this a while ago as it darkens the lights and remains MOT passable. http://www.flyeyeskit.co.uk and it even says you can get a refund if you're not happy, even if you've used them within 7 days!
  10. I'm in Hopefully stay on top of this after last years meltdown towards the middle of the season! Purple Aki's Army. If you have to ask, google him!
  11. What a complete and utter boob I am. Ordered Megs Super Degreaser, not seeing that it was just a bloody spray bottle with no actual degreaser
  12. I've just ordered some Megs Super Degreaser, Berry Blast Tyre & Trim Gel and a nice looking applicator sponge! Will get some before and after photo's this weekend of my engine bay. Hopefully clean it up nicely before I start adding things to it. I was just going to spray on the degreaser, leave for a while, poke it with a brush/sponge then wipe off or wash off lightly with water.
  13. Have you got any full side on shots of them with the car in picture? Just so I can photoshop them onto what I'm looking for to see how they match up
  14. I'm in no rush to upgrade my SSD MBP, will wait a few weeks until everything is ironed out. Not like it's not running smoothly at the moment!
  15. Got a few from a trip down to London and where I used to live on Liverpool a while ago, not had a chance in absolutely ages to go out with my camera! Crosby Beach Various from London London Zoo
  16. Looks simple enough, great guide always helps Now all I need is for Tarmac to sell me his Berks and I'll be sorted for a while(ish).
  17. Solar Guard Tinting http://www.solarguardtinting.co.uk/ Whilst I was there the guy who I guess owns/runs the place mentioned they have a sister company that does vinyl wrapping. He mentioned £140 a panel and I think he said they can do clear wraps as I was asking about getting my roof wrapped as well as rear window tinted. If you email SGT you'll probably speak to a guy called Duncan, I think he acts as a 3rd party between client and business so you might have to ask him for this sister company. They took around an hour to fit my rear side windows with a limo black tint, decent job so I'll probably be going back for the rear window which was quoted at £50. Digi Revolution http://www.digi-revolution.com/vehicle/ Ashley quoted me £1600 for a full wrap including door shuts and handles. This included £350 to get someone in to remove parts of the car so they could get in to warap it properly. They're literally a wrapping business so needing access to other areas costs a bit extra. Elite Films http://www.elitefilms.co.uk/ These guys are over in the Wirral, they do specify protection wrapping on their website. They quoted me £1200 including door shuts and inside the boot for a full wrap so I guess a clear wrap on the front end won't cost much. Totally Dynamic http://www.totally-dynamic.co.uk/ They have a few places round the country but nearest is Manchester. Their work looks good looking on their website and they quoted me £1860 for a full wrap including door shuts etc. That's all I've contacted so far, if you find any others that look good in the North West stick them in here or the thread I made about looknig for someone in the North West. Hope this helps!
  18. I've been emailing a few around Manchester/Stockport aout re-sprays, vinyl wrapping and clear coat wraps. Manchester close enough or too far? I'll post up their details here if they're any good for you
  19. I started learning last winter at Chill Factore in Manchester. Loved it but none of my mates go so it's not much fun going on your own! Loads of people I work with board but they've been doing it for years. Can't wait to go away one winter but need to drag one of my mates along!
  20. Dibs on the Berk's, and possibly the strut brace depending on when you are selling
  21. Anyone seen Plastidip? Never heard of it until the other day but only read good things about it. It's a spray on liquid which dries into like a thin rubber layer. You can just peel it off when it gets damaged or you bored of it. Few people have done alloys or body panels with it, tempting to try out a clear one on my bumper to see if it helps minimise stone chips but I'm waiting to see if I can find out if it might damage the soft paint on the zed. http://www.plastidip.co.uk/eStore/index ... lour=Clear http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=314494
  22. Also, can anyone recommend a body shop for fitting in the North West?
  23. Carrera GT is loveeerly! Probably the only Porka I could live with.
  24. Looking to get some samples of vinyl so I can decide what colour I want, if I decide to go down the vinyl route of changing colour, but I've not heard of any reputable places in the North West? I asked at a place where I got my rear windows tinted but they've not been in contact since so I assume they're not fussed about getting a whole car in to wrap for good money Ideally in or around Manchester as I know Taras does an amazing job but it would mean driving a fair distance down then getting the train back up and then down again! It'd also be for bodykit fitting as well otherwise I can get that done separately after everything has been wrapped but an all-in-one place would be perfect. Someone around the NW must have had it done! Thanks
