  1. Just to say I'm currently running a K2 and without ever having the stock to compare it to, it's exactly the type of exhaust I wanted. No real noise until you put your foot down, motorway cruising it's fine and you can hear the radio/talk to passenger fine. It doesn't look daft, or sound daft but has a nice rumble to it when you want it do, I'm sure a few other people on here will be able to advise on other exhausts. just had some Berk HFCs fitted and now it's a different story, louder through low/mid range, but the noise it makes is

How do people rate 452's in the wet? Whenever it's been fairly wet on the ground I've not been impressed by them, even when it's not completely full of puddles outsides I can always feel a lack of grip on corners. They're got a good amount of tred on them, might just be me being picky! Tempted to get some Vred's come winter time.
  3. Taking the car in on Tuesday so they can look at it whilst I'm there. They said the Berk HFCs werre shorter than stock ones so they have to move everything forward. Everything's been put on properly and tightened etc so they think a wonky issue is down to the exhaust by the sounds of it. But surely if I brought it in and it was perfect, fitted 2 exact same sized cats, albeit shorter than what was on there, surely the change should be exactly the same on both pipes and not wonky as it is? By the sounds of it on the phone they said they spent a fair amount of time on the car getting the Berks on as they had to alter something on the exhaust and it sounds like they're reluctant to do anything else for free, hope not as they came highly recommended from few people!
  4. Bah! Was hoping people would say its my wonky eyes! Taking it back is a right pain, have to wait until the weekend which means I can't go get it remapped or in the week somehow but I just started a new job today so can't really take an afternoon off!
  5. Ah ok, I was tempted to get over to Leeds this weekend for a remap but depends if I get time! I just got the car back and driving it back, just wow! Didn't expect that much of a change in the sound, sounds awesome! Only thing I noticed when driving it was when I get to over 4.5k there seems to be some sort of vibration coming from under the car on some part of the exhaust. Is this normal? When the garage phoned me the guy mentioned that the Berks were shorter than the stock cats so they had to "trim off back box hanger fixings and realign exhaust center and back box", in their words. I thought they would be a straight swap? There was definitely no vibration before I took the car in. When I picked up the car I was in a rush as it was 6:25pm and they were waiting around for me, nice of them, but when I got the car home I've noticed the exhaust doesn't look like it's centered properly, again something I never noticed before taking the car in. I don't want to be picky as they seemed to be really decent people at Lockwood but with vibrations and wonky looking exhaust I might have to go back at the weekend :/ Here's some photos of the wonkyness, unless it's just me!
  6. Those first 2 photographs look sweeeeeet!
  7. Who was it that was selling the high quality replicas? Can't remember which trader! I just remember them saying that they were of a very good quality and wondered if it was Tarmac for a direct comparison!
  8. How do these compare to the replicas you/Alex (can't remember who but they're ~£185?) get Tarmac? These will obviously be of a higher quality but for the price difference can you noticeably tell?
  9. Typical, just as I book the car in to get Berks fitted this weekend How much are the stock cats worth anyway?
  10. Nice!! I've had the rears tinted and added auto mirror relay as well for the wing mirrors. Spent more on tools/cleaning so far!
  11. Booked the car in at Lockwood & Greenwood on Saturday to fit a pair of Berk HFCs! Hopefully I'll notice a good difference sound wise from my current K2 exhaust and Y pipe I've got on the car. I'll get the car remapped in a few weeks time when I can head over to RS Tuning in Leeds. Already at 295bhp having been UpRev'd, getting closer to 300bhp with the Berks hopefully! Don't think there's anything else, performance wise, with an 06 airbox, plenum spacer, UpRev, HFCs, exhaust and Y pipe is there anything else that's worthwhile doing? Next it'll be on to changing the looks, already got colours, wheels, bumpers and skirts in mind, time to get saving those pennies! But before that, a new headunit is next on the list!
  12. So you get 3 laps for £99? Christ that's expensive, and thats with an 81% discount?!
  13. Play.com has them for £220 I think as well
  14. http://www.amazon.co.uk/GoPro-CHDMH-001 ... 471&sr=8-1 £210
  15. I posted this in another thread but I've copied/pasted it here Solar Guard Tinting http://www.solarguardtinting.co.uk/ Whilst I was there the guy who I guess owns/runs the place mentioned they have a sister company that does vinyl wrapping. He mentioned £140 a panel and I think he said they can do clear wraps as I was asking about getting my roof wrapped as well as rear window tinted. If you email SGT you'll probably speak to a guy called Duncan, I think he acts as a 3rd party between client and business so you might have to ask him for this sister company. They took around an hour to fit my rear side windows with a limo black tint, decent job so I'll probably be going back for the rear window which was quoted at £50. Digi Revolution http://www.digi-revolution.com/vehicle/ Ashley quoted me £1600 for a full wrap including door shuts and handles. This included £350 to get someone in to remove parts of the car so they could get in to warap it properly. They're literally a wrapping business so needing access to other areas costs a bit extra. Elite Films http://www.elitefilms.co.uk/ These guys are over in the Wirral, they do specify protection wrapping on their website. They quoted me £1200 including door shuts and inside the boot for a full wrap so I guess a clear wrap on the front end won't cost much. Totally Dynamic http://www.totally-dynamic.co.uk/ They have a few places round the country but nearest is Manchester. Their work looks good looking on their website and they quoted me £1860 for a full wrap including door shuts etc.
  16. I could get on, then I couldn't for 15 minutes but now it's fine. Was at the same time as above. Safari OSX
  17. Try having a Manchester post code, you might as well phone up with your trousers round your ankles
  18. I'm also tempted by this! My door handles are bit marked but they should be easy to do, centre console looks like it could cause trouble!
  19. Couldn't get on the site this morning to sort out my team for today, think they had a massive overload on the servers! Looks like the first week will be whatever I initially selected a week or so ago!
  20. Finally got round to installing the new unit and works perfectly! Typical me managed to get the only one made that got damaged in the post! It's rained every weekend for weeks but took about 15 minutes to install this morning. Works a treat, thanks Cook!
  21. But you can sell the BT unit for a tidy amount!
  22. haha it's all sorts of crazy awesome! Look on YouTube for all the things people have sprayed. Think I'm gonna get clear coat for winter on my wheels!
  23. You could Plastidip it!
