  1. Let me know what you've got! Not looking to spend anything crazy Looking for something like Rota GTR, 5-6 thick spokes I've seen Cookbot's but waiting to hear back from him.
  2. Oh and take a look over on AVForums, ridiculous amount of information, much better informed than any other forum for electrical things. http://www.avforums.com/forums/tv-should-i-buy/ http://www.avforums.com/forums/lcd-led-lcd-tvs/
  3. What and how many inputs do you need? What are you gonna be hooking up to the TV? Sky HD PS3 Xbox 360 Wii AV Receiver etc At 32" it's a bit pointless going for 1080p as it's very hard to see the difference between 720 and 1080 at 32" unless you're sat that close you can lick the screen.

    Japfest 2 pics.

Great photos! Have you got any more of that red zed after the GTR? can't tell if it's the standard red or a darker one!

    UPREV TUNING

The licence is to the car as far as I know, not the person. So if you sell the car the licence goes with it. It did in my case anyway
  6. Christ alive I wasn't expecting that!
  7. Are you looking for a set with or without tyres?

    HFC fitting ...

How long do you need? Would 24" do it and is it 1/2" drive? http://www.toolbox.co.uk/sealey-ak730-b ... 440-104856 be able to reach you think? I've got a 250mm locking extension bar and 125mm wobble extension as well.

    HFC fitting ...

Cheers, I've been quoted £99 without any delays to removing bolts etc is it worth getting underneath myself prior to booking it into a garage to see how the bolts are? I'd be tempted to do it myself if the bolts weren't rusted too bad and I could get to the header/cat bolts.

    HFC fitting ...

How much do you generally pay to get a set of HFC fitted? I know it depends on rusted bolts but what's a ballpark figure for no rusted bolts and rusted bolts?
  11. Since I started watching MMA I can't go back to boxing, unless its someone like Pacman. The fights just seem so tame and get stopped for a little cut above the eye whereas MMA just let's it go on until you physically can't go on anymore, much more entertaining
  12. I switched from walking to work and having no car running costs to buying and running a zed. People just need to man up and stop spending money on booze n fags every night and save the money so they can actually get to and from work. I'm far from a high earner and I can manage the cost of a zed so I'm sure Joe Bloggs should be able to afford a diesel Focus if he stopped going the pub every night. Or just pack everything in and live off the £2000/month the government seem to be handing out to every chav and his 7 kids. /rant
  13. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/insura ... ob-picker/ There's being less specific and then there's lying. You can be more generic with your job title and it can save you a bit of money. If you said you're a Data Processor when you're a Mining Consultant they could void your insurance in a claim. But if you said you were a Computer Programmer when you're a Web Developer I doubt they'd see a problem as it is a form of programming and you are using a computer. Going off the MSE job comparison, If a Chemical Engineer was paying £1,000 insurance, a Software Engineer would pay £1,004.50. Just find the lowesr one that in it's basic level says what you do and go with that
  14. Thanks flyboy. I've been PM'ing Cookie and I've taken the relay out and posting it back to him. It worked 50% of the time but never when it was completely installed behind the door. Hopefully there is a problem with it that can be fixed! psd, Cookie said he wasn't making any more, I think I got the last one or one of them, but you never know! Hats off to Cookie for being patient with me and replying to lots of PM's
  15. Bought the 150 piece socket set and the Laser torque wrench for low end things. Think I'll grab the Halfords 60-200 in a few weeks time if/when I need it. This Laser one should do everything I need for now.
  16. Machine Mart have one very similar to the Halfords one, what are Laser torque wrenches like? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Laser-2062-Torq ... 681&sr=1-4
  17. Yeah I've good things about the Halfords Professional range, just wanted to check if I need a 1/4" lower end torque wrench for the majority of what I want to be working on. Will give MM a look now, thanks!
  18. Think this must be a permanent deal as it was on about 9 weeks ago when I went in! If you're buying more than 3 things just make sure you buy them in sets of 3 from most expensive down to least, that way you save more and don't get the really cheap things for me. You also get a funny look from the bloke on the till when you're putting through 12 things in sets of threes
  19. Can you not use the OEM mic with it? I found this on CAC which I think may be the next step up, I just prefer the no buttons look of it - http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product ... -26929.htm
  20. Was bout to head out and grab a torque wrench and socket set from my favourite place, Halfords. Thought it'd be best to have a read around on all the torque levels that bolts in the engine and other places need. Thank god I did as I was just going to grab the 40-200nM one. Looking in the Service Manual it seems that a lot of the bolts that I'll be looking to get off/on only need a small amount of torque 5-20nM with bigger things such as wheel nuts needing 115nM. Looking around on these forums and others people say it's best to get 3 wrenches; low medium and high torque so that everything's pretty much covered. Are most of the bolts in the engine bay 1/4" or 1/2"? Would these two cover the majority of things and are they any good along with this socket set. Laser 1/4" - 5-25nM http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?a ... egories%3C{9372015}/categories%3C{9372043}/categories%3C{9372176}/categories%3C{9392051}/specificationsProductType=specialist_wrenches Halfords Professional 1/2" - 40-200nM http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165469 Socket Set http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165572 I was mainly looking to use them for changing upper plenum, air intake pipe, grounding kit, wheels, samco hoses. Thanks
  21. I forgot to ask, do you still need the bluetooth module that is already in the car or does the head unit do all of that itself? I didn't fancy spending £300-400 on a head unit but if I can sell the bluetooth module and my Pioneer head unit from my other car that might save me about £200!
  22. All comes down to the area the degree is in I think. My degree has so far counted towards nothing in my career. What I did after getting my degree in working self employed for 6months did. But then if I was trying to be a lawyer or doctor then going to the university I did, even getting a 1st wouldn't look as good as going to one of the top 5 in the country.
