  1. Cheers! Thought I was missing out on something then
  2. This could possibly be the stupidest question ever, but is the boot meant to open itself when you've pressed the button underneath?! Is that standard? I have to press mine and hold it down then lift the boot with the other hand which I thought was normal
  3. Been reading through the Prison Diary, very interesting so far! The one thing that my dad told me when I'd passed my test, everyone on the road is a moron. And by god I've not been driving long but the amount of people that are just complete idiots and shouldn't be on the roads is unbelievable!
  4. Welcome to the forum Doubt you needed to post the same thing in 4 different areas though, people are helpful enough with one thread!
  5. See if you can find out the price for multiple units + single postage and multiple units + multiple postage. if the postage is coming out at £22 each for the multiple postage I'm sure it can be had cheaper elsewhere if you can get the boxed dimensions and weight
  6. I'm paying more than that at 25yo with 2 years NCB. Manchester post code kills it for me even though I'm out on the edge living in a ridiculously quiet area!
  7. So he says it's far from then stock then goes on to list what, 3 mods? Including wheels? no chance.
  8. Have you got rays on your zed? Looking at the photo in your sig it looks like they're not the rays?
  9. I went from iPhone 3G to iPhone 4 and it's sooo much quicker. Gave my iPhone 3G to the missus, every time I use it I feel like I've gone backwards a few years. Get yourself a 4 or wait until June for the new iPhone, probably best bet.
  10. Steve McCLaren supposedly on his way in, wonder how long it will take him to get a cockney accent like his comedy dutch one
  11. They look awesome on GM, just the type of wheels I'm after but too soon after splashing on the zed! GLWTS!
  12. haha I love the last one! Can just imagine the chuckle brothers in the front of the car "to me" "to you"
  13. Shouldn't take you too long to find one in good condition! I recently bought a 04 GT with 33k on the clock for around your budget and it's in very good condition
  14. 25. (I actually put that I'm 22 for a minute, not woken up yet ) Japspeed K2 and Y pipe. Bought the car with it on, love the sound of it but wouldn't mind it a bit raspier. Will be looking at Berk HFC when I get spare money
  15. Cheers for the replies! Will see if I can get the wheel off tonight and see if I can find any damage, hopefully not!
  16. So far I've managed to avoid any major potholes to and from work but today I decided to try a different lane to avoid traffic that normally builds up a right turn. Bad move! Hit a pothole in the lane that I never normally go in probably doing around 30-40mph and it gave a nice big thud noise. Had a quick look at the wheel when I got out the car but I had to get into work. I was just wondering what should I be looking for on the underside of the car that might be out of shape/damaged from it. Might just be me being overcautious but I want to check that I'm not driving round with a damage front passenger side possibly making things worse. I'll check over the wheel and tyre after work but I haven't got access to a ramp or anything unless I took it to a garage where they might think I'm being a weirdo checking for nothing. Thanks!
  17. Saved u p for 2 years then paid cash. DIdn't realise the insurance was going to be so bloody expensive though so that's been whacked on a credit card! Still got my Fiesta 1.25 to sell which should help, a bit!
  18. Awesome colour and love the rear!
  19. I'm currently tethering my iPhone whilst I wait 2 weeks for Sky to come 'activate' the phone line that was deactivated by BT about 2 days ago. Why on earth it takes so long I'll never know
  20. What's the best way to go about getting rid of small marks/scratches on the plastic interior? Mainly around the bottom of the door, the little hole you use to pull the door shut? Bought a decent amount of stuff for cleaning the exterior but noticed a few small marks on the interior that I'd like to tidy up.
  21. On the street and with the missus who has only been driving 2 years with 1 claim makes mine cheaper! Can't touch the specialist insurers as it's my first performance car and I'm in a Manchester post code. Theres a page on MSE about how different job titles can change the premium cost. As long as the job title roughly suits what you are doing you'll be fine
  22. What's the best way of driving the car for stop/start round town driving then? Without piddling petrol out the rear end!
  23. So basically insurers are doing what they always do with renewals and try to screw you over but you can save if you actually put the effort into looking elsewhere
