  1. I'll take a set then Any news on those Berks?
  2. You'll have to do a quick review on the head unit, I'm still deciding which buttonless touchscreen head unit to go for. Has to be very responsive though as I'm picky, as well as needing a UI that wasn't designed in the 80s.
  3. I managed to find somewhere in Manchester that did my side rears for £30 and will do the rear for £50, so £80 for the rear 3 ain't bad! So far the two rears are perfect so I'll be going back in the future! What's the rear like at night? I've got limo black on the sides but didn't want to get it on the back as I've heard visibility is greatly reduced.
  4. Gonna be fun driving into Manchester tomorrow morning, wonder how many of the roads will be littered with @*!# trying to wreck my car
  5. Might have been posted in here already but this has to be the most disgraceful thing I've seen during these riots, I hope they get their legs broken. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Gex_ya4-Oo
  6. So after looking around trying to find the perfect solution I thought I might as well build one myself! I saw someone on some 350z USA forums so thought it can't be that hard! I didn't want anything sticking on the windscreen or poking out from the side, wanted something that could be easily hidden yet look good. MDF + Jigsaw + Elbow Grease + Felt = It's not the best of photo's but I'll get some more tomorrow with the iPhone in it, it's hard to take a picture of an iPhone in a mount with said iPhone The red ribbon is just in there for now so I can take it in and out when I want as it's not finished. Going to add a backing piece of MDF to it and wire through an iPhone cable from my new head-unit which I'm yet to install. It does mean that when I am out of the car I can take the head unit screen with me and put the lid down on the iPhone mount. Although I might take the cubby lid off and see what it looks like without it permanently. So if all goes well this week and my iPhone doesn't fall out while I'm driving down the road, I'll have a nice setup in a few weeks!
  7. Well said Ricey! Insurers have you by the balls and they know it. Until the government or some form or law is passed the majority will be getting increased premiums over and over again needlessly.
  8. Who do I need to PM for the 10% discount on ABD?

  11. Admiral increased my insurance for exhaust, lowered and plenum spacer! They wanted a few hundred quid more for wheels so I've got stock for now.
  12. How hard is it to fit a new HU? Just remove old one, connect cables, earth it, voila?
  13. Definitely going to be getting this done if I go for a respray over wrap. Front bumper is littered with stone chips!
  14. What size sheets do you need for the FlyEyes if anyone has done it?
  15. What happens when you've driven through dog poop?
  16. She doesn't as far as I know! I've struggled to find anywhere online at a decent price. UnlimitedTuning do one for $105 + $45 shipping but they might be willing to reduce the shipping for multiple orders. I've been wanting one for a few weeks! They also do a chrome one or carbon - http://www.unlimitedtuning.com/perfUTR1.htm
  17. I'm a web designer/developer Just about to hand in my notice tomorrow as I've been offered a job elsewhere! Worked on some really good projects with big name clients the past couple of years. I went to uni and did a degree in multimedia which had no effect on getting a job. I came out of uni and freelanced for 6 months, built up a bit of a portfolio which got me my first job and I'm just about to move onto my second! If you need any info just post in here or fire me a PM, just off to the computer for the night now.
  18. You use a hose to connect the pressure washer to a water source so just get the correct hose connection for your tap B&Q have loads!

    Fiat 500

Thought as much! I wasn't there but the guy was insistent that it be added on even when my girlfriend told him what I do to my zed. Always trying to flog @*!# to people, winds me up! And I even found it on eBay for £20 if it was any good. £100 labour? Must be joking! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUPAGUARD-SUP ... 110wt_1141

    Fiat 500

So a garage in Stockport offered £200 for my '97 Fiesta with 60k on the clock, saying that they would expect £325 at an auction. You can literally just stick the cars details into autotrader and 50 pop up at £600-900, £200 is a ridiculous offer. I wasn't there when they offered £200 for my other car but they were also very pushy on my girlfriend for her to take some sort of paint and interior protection at £125 stating that "red paint fades in the sun". What a crock, what would they actually be doing for £125? Just giving it a quick wash with a grubby sponge and then slapping some cheap liquid wax on?
  21. Been using mine every week since I bought it. Nice bit of kit for the price! Probably won't clean a patio to a decent level as it's not that powerful but I keep it on a fairly wide setting on the car and a bit narrower on the wheels. You do need an adaptor though as the standard attachment just chucks out a powerful stream of water. Pressure washer + adaptor = £100 I think I paid.
  22. out of interest, where did you get the cubby from? Tempted to get one myself but not if they're silly prices!
  23. 16 Remove the plastic popper in the front in the usual way. How? Just doing it now and can't get it out! Never done before so no idea what the usual way is nevermind, sorted!
