There should be a fair few owners with the OEM exhaust on GTROC that they want rid of. It's probably worth contacting places like SVM and Litchfield to see if they have any lying around as most owners upgrade their exhaust then don't want the OEM one back, I don't have mine as it was left at Litchfield when a titanium exhaust was fitted a couple of years ago.
So for a jacket I want a textile one so I don't look like a tit in the morning walking to a clients through town.
Was looking at Held Careses II or Revit Outback. Both say waterproof but I've just been reading that they have waterproof/gore-tex inners but the jackets themselves aren't waterproof, just resistant. So anything more than a small shower with just the jacket and no linner means I'd get wet. Is that standard for textiles? For the waterproof-ness to come from an inner jacket rather than the actual jacket itself?
A few guys from the NW meets will tell you the difference between a 350z and GTR from first hand experiences
3 tanks to your 1? I manage 14mpg in my GTR so you must be absolutely going crazy to get anything less.
I've been looking at the new KTM RC390 which is out next month so hopefully early next year there might be one or two up for sale second hand. I'd jump straight on a 600cc but I can't get insured on one, and a 400 is cheaper than a 125.
Booked a 4 day DAS course starting in 4 weeks time. Hopefully it all goes smoothly! Don't think I'll be buying a bike until early next year though as I can't see me using it in November/December/January when it's silly cold outside!
How are the Pagids on the road? I went with Ferodo's as I couldn't live with squeaky brakes but I'm booked in for 2 track days in August so I'm going to have to take it easy on the Ferodo's. I was tempted to buy some RS29's to swap myself for each track day.
I also have a set sat in my garage. Around 30k miles on them, taken off for Berk HFCs.
Make me an offer and I'll see what I can do, I have absolutely no use for them as I don't even have a 350z any more!
If even for 1 second mpg is a consideration, don't get a GTR. I've managed 16mpg over the past 5000 miles. That's tuned but why would you get a Japanese car and not play around with it!
Yeah it's as simple as pour out the old resin and put new resin in. Should hopefully last around a year as I wash the car once a month and the water hardness here is very low anyway.
Well the DI can't handle much pressure anyway which is why I've bought the hose. Otherwise I would've ust connected it to my pressure washer.
Someone on DW has their DI connected to their pressure washer and it works fine. We shall see! Paid extra and got 30 days money back on the hose so if it's @*!# I'll get my money back.
Finally got round to order a vessel and resin. Also found an expandable hose with spray gun on Amazon. I already have a normal reel hose but the pressure washer but thought it's just easier getting something separate.
Paid £81 from eBay in the end for the vessel and resin. Same thing from Vyair was £88 (with lwoer grade resin apparently) or Daqua was £110.
Will stick up a few photos once I have it up and running as you can see everything on a black car so perfect test subject!
