On an R35 GTR, melted the boot carpet and left a big discoloured patch on the boot floor beneath. Was billowing smoke out the back apparently.

I was speaking to someone who had one of these exhausts. I certainly won't ever be buying from them after seeing the damage it did to his car after melting the carpet in the boot. Did he get a refund? Did he shite, he got a replacement stainless steel (cheaper) one for the titanium one he paid for, that's currently being sold and never touching his car.

If the SLS AMG gearbox wasn't so turd it would be next on my list. The GT looks nice but not enough theatrics about it for my liking. I should be there in Feb and March next year, be good to get a few zeds out too! I think my best time is around 2:05-2:10 in the dry (~630hp GTR). I've seen a few videos of 1:55-1:58s before in various cars. I'm certainly not track experienced so I'm sure a decent driver could get my car round in a lot less!

Passed my Mod 2 this morning

Spend £3-4k on the GTR and it'll knock about 1.5-1.7s off stock 30-130 time. Anyone can mod a car to be faster than a GTR, just depends how much you've got to spend. There's sone seriously quick TTRS out there running over 600hp which will see off a GTR…in a straight line. So a stock 370z weighs 270kg less than the GTR and the GTR has 2 more passengers? So around 400kg difference? Pointless video.

A few owners have changed from 6 month to 12 month services now depending on how much the car is used.

It's not just the running costs you need to know about, it's the never ending modding costs! I've done a couple of track days and not noticed any increase in running costs. Easily get through £100 worth of fuel in a day but the wear on tyres/pads/discs depends what you're running and how hard you are around the track. If you're driving it aggressively and ignoring fluid temps then you will come away needing to spend a fair amount of money on tyres, pads and fluid.
