  1. Will keep an eye on this! Not a 350z but his bigger brother
  2. I used to use Parcel2Go a lot until I found UKMail. http://www.ipostparcels.com/ Can get them to collect the parcel from you or you can drop it off at a depot to save £1. There's always 10%/20% vouchers floating around, CARD04 I think is 20% off. I think 150cm is the longest they do though which might not be enough!
  3. Paul normally does a wrap in 3 days I think, well a GTR takes 3-4 days so I assume the same for 350z!
  4. Best place for information are the following sites : http://dashcamtalk.com/ http://dashcamtalk.com/forum/ http://www.techmoan.com/ I wouldn't trust any cameras being reviewed by a TV show as they could easily be getting paid to say it's good. 1080p is minimum, GPS is great, G-Sensor is great but means the camera needs to have power 24/7 so you either need something like "Blackvue Power Magic" to stop the battery being drained or to just have the camera turn on with ignition (which is what I have). Blackvue cameras seem to be good but for the price, several hundred, they don't offer enough of a performance jump over the Mini 0801 and similar cameras. Techmoan.com reviews a lot of cameras and if he says the 0801 is good, it's good And if you buy one that is well supported on dashcamtalk you can just post a thread on there and should have all your camera problems solved!
  5. You need 1080p to be able to read registration plates, anything less and it's ok for trackday recording but turd for anything else! It's £20 for a reason
  6. I've got two, front and rear. Bought from a UK seller in case of any issues, easier to send back to a bloke in Manchester than China! One of them is knackered but the other one works great. GPS works perfectly and the cameras small enough to be fairly discrete. I can upload a bit of footage if you want but it'll be from the rear.
  7. Not sure how many of you are on "the other" forum, but for those who aren't: bit.ly/18bCSpw Good ol' Nissan eh?

    Still for sale.
  9. I'm an interaction designer & developer. Life. On. The. Edge.
  10. Mines a Litchfield stage 4 with Eibach ARBs and a full GTC titanium 90mm exhaust. Picking it up tomorrow afternoon with russ fellows downpipes, MY11 suspension, new sub & amp, front/rear dashcams, GFB blow off valves, sound deadened rear seats and boot! Should hopefully be making 650hp and have a good but of noise, not that it was lacking in either power or noise before this weekends round of mods!
  11. I park the GTR jut as I parked my 350z, away from everyone else It is a big car but it will fit in a space if needed, I try not to though as it's just asking for a pleb to bash their door on yours!
  12. I've been tempted by a ducktail rear myself, they do look awesome! Car looks great in red, I bet it stays much cleaner than my bloody black one! You can always pickup the MY11 suspension for around £800 instead of £3.5k for Litchfields, that's what I'm currently having fitted along with a few other bits. Are you running OEM exhaust except for y-pipe?

    Aerokit?

If you look at my build thread it contains an Arrokit rear. I remember the bodyshop saying the for wasn't great and it ended up looking a bit wavvy, not sure if it was the bumper or bodyshop though who was the real issue. You need to add VAT and delivery on top of their website prices too.
  15. It's less of the fact you started one thread that managed 17 pages, more of the fact you started 35 different threads before even buying a GTR that irritated some of the GTROC users. http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/search.php?searchid=6772441 I've never found the place hostile and can see both sides of the argument. It is exciting buying a new car but 35 different threads is a bit OTT by anyone's standards. And it's nothing to do with how you earned your money to buy the car as it was yourself that felt the need to bring up the fact you worked for the money and weren't given it. I'm yet to meet someone on GTROC that was just given the money to buy a GTR, myself included. Either way, nice to see someone following the same route I took of 350z to GTR.

    Still available
  17. OEM GTR Y-pipe £100-125 and the backbox £50-100, so fairly cheap if you get a custom mid and everything fits ok. http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/198809-stock-exhaust-back-box-x3.html http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/183681-stock-y-pipe.html
  18. MY10 GTR Litchfield stage 4 (620hp) Litchfield suspension Michelin Pilot Super Sport For under £50k as well.
  19. No idea about fitment but you can certainly get hold of them cheap enough on GTROC. Even I've got an OEM GTR y-pipe sat in the garage so ok sure a lot of GTROC members do too along with the rear section.
  20. Just came across this on YouTube, sounds bloody lovely!

    Nismo GTR

If you're going for 0-60 in a GTR you leave it in auto as you can't change gears quick enough. If Nissan can do a 2 second 0-60 I'll eat my hat. If a tuned 1400hp with drag tyres on can't do it I doubt Nissan can do it out the box unless the next GTR is going to cost the same as Veyron!

    Nismo GTR

I can't see 0-60 in 2 seconds being done, there's a guy on the GTROC forum who has managed 2.28 and 0-100 in 4.5…that's with 1400hp with drag tyres!

Not dropping the price, I can get more at a scrap as someones mentioned above. Rather give it to someone who needs it but £60 less is too much
