  1. Fuel can usually make a massive difference, what did you have in the tank?
  2. Looking good Papa, like the new additions. Nope, they are the wrong way round
  3. Great story, good Roadtrip! Enjoy your new clutch
  4. Man thats gorgeous!! Love the wire tuck on the engine bay, and the material around the dash console is a nice touch. I had the same bonnet on my Supra but it was a 'mere' 400bhp!!
  5. Thanks guys Despite spending most of this week in London for a trade show, I have still managed to rack up over 250 miles on the car and she is still running sweet! Went out last night and managed to grab a cool pic of the Zed too.
  6. We also took a trip out last night down towards Swanage. I stumbled across the old steam train station & track which is rarely used, and is home to a number of old carriages and cranes. We wandered around here for a little while then headed down towards Swanage Pier. The fog was crazy, but managed to get 1 or 2 cool ones.
  7. Just a quick 2 from a location we went to last year. Near us hidden away in a business park is what seems to be a FireStation graveyard. There must be over 10 fire engines in various stages of decay, make some some great photos.
  8. Got a couple of pics from last night but really struggled as it was really foggy. Will put up a thread if there isn't one already on the forum
  9. Tucked up in the garage waiting for winter to disappear will fit them next month I expect
  10. Went out for a spot of Urban Exploring last night with a friend, and snapped this on the way back to the car.
  11. As above, I went for the Samco kit as it comes with 4 hoses. Yeah it costs more, but its a nice bit of kit.
  12. Saw this Zed last summer and I was very close to getting some 7series alloys. Look sooo good in white.
  13. I'm also shopping around right now for brembo replacement decals. Found this link to an Aus based seller - won't buy from them as shipping will take forever. But, they do have the decal sizes listed in one of the pictures. Might be of use to some of you guys http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-Brembo-Brake-Caliper-Decals-NSX-Honda-Cefiro-KE70-325i-BMW-M3-M5-350Z-VW-Golf-/251120840779?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a77f7f04b
  14. Lovely additions a dude , love a splash of carbon on the interior. I was only saying to Buster yesterday how the steering wheel inserts transform the wheel. Can't wait to sort mine out
  15. The thought did cross my mind earlier this week, but they were a tad out of my price budget!
  16. cheers dude, yep I'm super pleased vids should work now, were set to private by default for some reason - stupid iMovie
  17. So far so good folks, took her out for a blast this evening and its soooo great to be back behind the wheel Was a busy day, but ending with the car hitting the deck and me driving her home Can't thank the Zed Shed enough for their help - a few of my pics in my thread, link below. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/69422-matts-azure-blue-adventure-she-lives-pg16/page__st__300
  18. Alrighty....Another busy day, but VERY successful!! So, the engine spun a bearing recently and with a lot of help today we managed to fit the new engine and drive the car under her own steam!! If you missed it, check the link below for the engine rebuild thread. http://www.350z-uk.c...4/#entry1220957 Also, for some more pics and general progress check out the Caravan Catcher thread for Keysers updates on the build. The car was named Bella, however I think she is now going to be known as the Caravan Catcher http://www.350z-uk.c...1/#entry1226057 So after a busy week, everything is back together and with a final push today we are pretty much done Last night the new Exedy clutch and CC flywheel made their way onto the car. The gearbox was installed, and the the whole lot was dropped into the car. Today, this left us to patch in the loom, connect pipes and things, add fluid and hey-presto!.....the lives. The initial turn of the key was just to check all loom was clipped in correctly, no fluids or anything at this stage just a real quick fire. Well....I say no fluids, there turned out to be a tiny bit of power steering fluid in one of the u bends. On ignition this went all over the engine bay, windscreen, car roof and garage roof keep an eye out at the end of the video below. Then once we knew it was all OK we cracked on and put the rest of the car together.....and boom And here she is leaving the Zed Shed under her own power for the first time in 2 weeks. Running sweet as a nut. I've known these guys & gals since way before I even owned a Zed - they have always helped me out with car related things and always in for a cuppa. Since owning the Zed I have been around even more to get help with things I broke, help fitting the weekly mods etc. But they all REALLY helped me out here and can't thank them enough. Even donuts don't cut it this time!! Its been an interesting 2 weeks, I have certainly learnt a lot about the car and engines in general. And to top it off I get a working car at the end of it!! Here is Chris after a hard day at the office. Coffee......seat.....fag....donuts!!!
  19. Yep, today should be a busy day coffee, smokes & donuts on standby. The caravan catcher is almost ready! Oh, and Jim, WTF!!! Haha
