  1. Yeah, I understood that. Buying in Oz and shipping yourself is probably much cheaper than buying through a UK distributor. my point was, here’s something for your car in the U.K., from your son in Oz from an Oz company
  2. Something from Pedders? https://www.pedders.com.au/catalogue/all/nissan/350z/ DBA’s, adjustable coilovers, Pedders has a good name and VFM reputation and it’s based in Australia
  3. One like this? Can’t remember if it was off the front or back, GT or Nismo
  4. I liked the last series of TGT, particularly good because it’s broadcast in 4K, some of the locations were simply stunning. i also agree with Ponsonby, Clarkson looks like death warmed up
  5. You might get a response in the right section.......
  6. Ditto, me n the ither half had a few laugh out loud moments last week and this week, I think the last time that happened was the US special years ago when Clarkson came back with a dead cow on the roof.
  7. Isle of Gigha is another, small, but beautiful little island for an overnight, short ferry ride for a few quid, it’s even got palm trees on it. Achamore Gardens is stunning.
  8. Have done that route a few times . Folks tend to head north in Skye and circumnavigate back across the bridge, the route to Armadale for the ferry to Mallaig is the fastest A road I’ve been on in my ‘Stang and once in Mallaig, the A830 is THE best road in Scotland in my humble opinion Defo gies a shout, we’re a wee bit bonkers but good bonkers and a very, very exclusive wee club
  9. You might want to consider Islay, beautiful beaches and the finest distilleries in all of Christendom. Port Charlotte is a particular favourite of ours. The drive from Glasgow, past Loch Lomond, Rest and Be Thankfull, round to Inveraray and onward to Tarbert and then Kennacraig for the ferry is an amazing road, one of the best in the UK. if you fancy, carry on down to Campbeltown and it gets better, just round the peninsula is Southend and Machrihanish, wildest beaches bar those in Sutherland, camping galore!
  10. Oh, and when you come up to Hoop Hoo land, give us some notice and The McMustang McMongos will organise a run oot for ye, in yer ‘Stang
  11. Skye is a busy island from spring to autumn. A few years ago in my 370 GT, us and another couple did the Outer Hebrides, the whole of! . From Vatersay to the very northern tip of Lewis. we did it in a week no problem, there’s not great distances to be covered. Ferry from Oban to Barra, joined by a causeway to Vatersay, then another ferry to South Uist, joined to North Uist by another causeway. Ferry to Harris and toured Harris and Lewis, ferry back to the mainland from Stornaway to Ullapool (we had an additional night in the summer isles) The beaches all through the Hebrides are amazing, South and North Uist are outstanding but our favourite beaches were in Harris, particularly Husinish (sp?) beach. We didn’t camp, but it’s entirely possible. The culinary choice is world beating, especially seafood, hotels, depending on budget, can be basic, but friendly and warm. Get some peat smoked salmon and peat smoked scallops from the Hebridean smokehouse, get up to Husinish beach, some fizz and you’ll be in heaven. *warning*. It’s an expensive trip
  12. Realised he was out of his depth, got found out and ran away, just like Raaaaaaab did. The quicker Bojo gets the job, the quicker he’ll be properly found out and sent to political oblivion, never to be seen again
  13. The first 6 Gen was Competition Orange, the new Orange Fury is a bit washed out looking. Ruby Red, a nice Shelby color (yes I know, the American spelling ) The car in itself is iconic, the colouring is secondary, the most offensive thing about a modern Mustang is the Ecoboost, even the word, Ecoboost, doesn’t look right
  14. BTW, they’re only rated to 7 degC
  15. Erm, I’ve read some of this, but has anyone pointed out scrubbing in the tyres? If so, apologies for mentioning. For what it’s worth and, in my experience, P Zeros are sh1te, they came as standard on my current car, but lo and behold, the facelift model came with MPS4S, not sure if this was because of customer feedback or not. However, I’m currently running P Zeros on my spare set of wheels, at +15 degC they are superb, in the dry. At the hint of a moist or cold day, I adjust my driving accordingly
  16. Jeezo, some antagonistic posting here, it’s just a cleaning product, not like anyone is advocating using fairy liquid (although I did use it on my Volvo 144 before the internet was invented and I was an impoverished 17 year old apprentice )
  17. Don’t listen to doom goblins, buy one, or get a ‘Maser’. Your shout buddy, wouldn’t slate it one way or another, your dosh.
  18. Cooling seats are pretty good as well As far as twisties go, twice over the Alps, up and down the Gorge du Verdun, more than capable Really easy car to live with long term, servicing is cheap, mods, generally, are cheap (VAT and duty from US not so cheap ). Stan and Marzman made a good choice
  19. Nice write up Stan The menus on the dash with the graphic oil temp, vacuum, etc. are useful to gauge when to start ‘using’ the loud pedal. The sat nav has a home setting btw, on sync2 anyway. the 61ltr tank can take you well over 300+ miles, even at Autobahn speeds, more at a more sedate pace. Get the car over to Europe buddy, it’ll become even more apparent how good a GT the Mustang is, so far I’ve done a road trip to Lake Garda, Bergamon in the South of France (including the WHOLE route Napoleon) and Le Mans. Heart is set on a Whipple, however the dollar exchange rate is particularly poor, so going to pull the trigger on a power pack upgrade from JWR. Zed like? You better believe it, you just can’t stop modding a ‘Stang You will always be let out of junctions, people love the car, more than generally, it’s an icon and three years in, nothing else takes my fancy at the mo. enjoy and keep posting your Stang life
  20. The G Man

    TPMS is on.

IIRC, from the manual and the door jam sticker, 36psi, 40-45psi is too high
  21. The G Man

    TPMS is on.

Have a look at this, particularly to the ‘if it flashes then goes solid’ part. There are a couple of vids on how to reset them, but it would seem that like Ford, a tpms reset ‘tool’ might be required (Ford does have the option of driver resetting). If they’re not faulty (re the flashing/solid warning), my guess is that Nissan would reset for free, if still under warranty, replace free.
