  1. They ask questions for a reason, lying or being economical with the truth to get a cheaper quote may seem like a good idea in the short run but its crazy. If anything happened, especially if its serious, they will go through the policy with a fine tooth comb to avoid paying out and they are rightly justified in doing so. If you purposefully distort the truth and get bitten tbh you deserve it. I've just done my renewal. Shot up from £423 to £555, but then i knew once in a blue moon i travel to work in the zed so i needed to add commuting to the policy. I also plan a couple of europe road trips so i upped the annual mileage from 8k to 12k. I also ensured the policy allowed me more than 30 days driving in Europe. Could i have conveniently missed this off the policy and saved some money, yes. Did I, hell no i'm not taking the risk. If something goes wrong they pay out not me. I also then bargained them back down and got a quote i was happy with. In the meantime i can sit back and relax knowing i am fully covered.
  2. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Nissan Guildford are a bunch of idiots. If you live close to the area try Nissan aldershot, it's a performance specialist and they actually know what they are doing. Don't be put off by the exhaust. It was a big downer for me too after coming from the 350 but it's easily fixable with an aftermarket exhaust
  3. Happy birthday Alex, hope you are having a very enjoyable day. A big thank you aswell for all the hard work you put into this forum, it's very easy for people to miss how much goes on behind the scenes to keep this forum up and running and I really appreciate all the hard work and effort you have invested in this place. Cheers.
  4. Happy birthday to you....happy birthday to you
  5. Star Wars battlefront was £17 on Xbox live last weekend and have to say I'm loving it. Being a Star Wars fanboy it's so much fun and the sound effects, it's just like you are there in the movies.
  6. Aye last time was when you took me around Bedford in your porker. ''Twas a good day

  13. Good to know as I know a number of members have asked about fitting new hoods. They should find this useful Looks great
  14. I bought a phantom 4 for a roadtrip to Austria last year. Have to say it's awesome and a lot of fun and the quality of the footage is epic. Good luck with the venture
  15. Sorry to see this Adrian, hope it all gets sorted asap. Good luck
  16. Nice one, you don't do things by halves Jimbo
  17. Good decision taking the arch trims off, one bit of the Nismo I didn't like as they looked tacked on and out of place.
  18. I'd recommend TGM too, great little team.
  19. Personally i wouldnt go to Nissan Guildford. In my experience they were not helpful at all. Limited knowledge of the car, no acknowledgment of the steering lock issue and no advice. Nissan Aldershot on the other hand (its a performance specialist) were very knowledgable and helpful. They immediately recognised the issue and got it all sorted with the minimum of fuss. I do know a couple of people on here have had issues with them though. However for me, i take my car on a 120mile round trip to Slys at Kaizer Motor, the stamp i nthe book from him is worth more to anyone who really knows the car.
