All the Z gearbox's whine, nothing to worry about. Fresh box oil if it hasnt been changed in some time might dull it a bit if your really that bothered about it.

What tread does the other tyre have? If its over 4mm I wouldn't bother buying two. Yes i'l probably get shot down for this, but if its the same tyre your replacing (same tread pattern) a few mm difference in tread will not make any noticable difference and save you a fair bit of money.

Like the jap one even though don't usually like the Z roadster, but that one with the crap wheels and the.. "model" .. do not want!

No border, always looks tacky but upto you. You can have the web address on the bottom of the plate if you specify it, and although not strictly legal either i've seen it on a few Z's on here before

Although it's probably frowned upon by a few people on here, I've used UK and JDM size plates on many different cars none of which had the details of where they were made on, never had any trouble with the police and also passed all MOT's so far. http://www.craigsplates.com/ is the most reliable i've found, just buy them as show plates use the legal font and you have a set of plates delivered to your door. Yeah its not 100% legal, but many many people have stupid itallics and spacing on their plates so not having the details on the bottom is hardly a big deal IMO.

The Nissan kit as said above is suprisingly cheap and is obviously a perfect colour match, needs ordering in though so don't expect to turn up to a dealer and them definitely have it in stock

Personally found PE2's and PS2's to have slightly softer sidewalls than the bridgestones, so 35 should be fine if not a few psi more

Should be able to fit two in the boot (one under the strutbar, one generally in the boot) then two in the front. You can fit 4 18" tyres in the Z with planning so 17" wheels should be easy enough

How much are the complete arms with new bushes from Nissan (or new from Alex if you read this thread) Mine havn't gone, but I replaced the front arm bushes on a Glanza V with 60k on it and the car felt much better so might be tempted to make sure the suspension feel is 100%

Yeah, my friend has them in 40 profile on his 200sx and they are fine. Shame, wish i'd paid the bit extra for stones but live and learn eh
