  1. There are run flat versions of the RE050a

    Hankook Tyres

Are they RE040a's or RE050a's? Id rather run a full set of near illegal RE040a's than a full set of Falkens

    Bye bye Z

Are you quite short, no offence intended, but i've never had this problem and wouldn't consider the Z driving position that low (the leather seats are actually quite high? )
  4. I must be the only one who prefers RE040a's over stuff like Toyos and Falken 452's etc. I've never driven on RE050a's but the RE040's had a nice stiff sidewall, were very progressive to let go when they were about to lose grip if you pushed them too hard so it was easily judgeable to correct if you know how to drive. As others have said, get some heat in to them and they far supass any of the toyo and falken tyres in terms of performance. I only hope the 50's have the same sidewalls as the 40's as they will be what Im going to next when I get rid of these jelly sidewalled Falkens.
  5. I had a FR+ 55 reg, one of the last PD150's with the factory fit Cupra R bodykit and 17" version of the Cupra R wheels. It was quick for a diesel and had the looks of the Cupra R. Would have one again if I was doing motorway miles in a shot, nice car. You won't get a FR+ for 4-5k though so depends if you want the facelift Cupra R bodykit or not.
  6. Its popular in america, not so much over here I dont think
  7. I've used a whiteline front ARB and a panhard rod on a previous car, and they are well made bits of kit. You pay purely for the product not for the name like other brands.
  8. Do you have any pictures of your car side on Ruddles or from the the gap between arch and wheel at the rear?, reason I ask is that I had BC Coilovers on a previous car and the rears wouldnt drop as much as the front due to the perch design.

    scooby saloon

I like the hatches more than the 00's style saloons when modded properly. Like so..
  10. Have a look at some of his stunts Guy definitely has skills (and balls!)
  11. Nice pics, the gap between the bumper and your boot seems to be higher on the left than the right though

  13. Ive had a few performance FWD cars, a Clio 182 Trophy being the last before the Z.. It would out handle the Z on a track hands down.. but depends what you want in a car really.
  14. Well it shouldn't be anywhere near as bad as your making out. On even the roughest roads round here it is still really smooth compared to most performance orientated cars. What tyres are you running?
  15. The Z rides like it has no suspension? Are you driving the same car as me hah? The ride is quite soft and rolls quite a bit for a sports car, guess you've never driven a car with reasonable spring rates on coilovers before One of the only issues I have with the stock Z is the fairly soft suspension
  16. Nismo with Nismo Y Pipes sounds the best from all i've heard exhaust wise. Don't like the K1 either, spoils the car to be honest, sounds like those dual exhaust systems people put on saxo's!
  17. Not a fan of the new ones, much prefer the IX. Nice choice non the less

    Snow socks

How easy did you find them to fit?
  19. Apart from hot water to get them free, i've not found anything to prevent the mirrors freezing, as Darren said just leave them out.. can cause damage trying to unfold them if they are frosted
  20. Done a quick 5 minute edit for you seeing as no one else has replied. Bit rough around the edges and the colour isnt a perfect match but gives you an idea
  21. i am matt who are you tho?? notice your from yorkshire I'm Craig, you might know of me but prob not, a good mate of mine (Gaz) bought that black 200sx off you earlier this year. Used to see your car driving about in Ackworth a bit but don't go over there much anymore. Lookin forward to the project though, hopefully see it about when its built
  22. Small world I think, I recognise your old car. Are you Matt or did you get the car from him?
