  1. Glad to see someone else has experienced the same as me. Falkens are just too soft for a heavy car such as the Z if your pushing the car in any way. I've been waiting for camskill to get bridgestones back in stock for the Z fitment, as I just can't get on with the falkens. Everyone who raves about them in the stock sizes and profile must just pootle about everywhere and prefer comfort over performance. Also, the whole mixed tyre thing is over exagerated on here like someone else said above.. Different tyres on the same axle, yes, its a no no especially on a RWD car. But mixing tyres front and rear is made out like its instant death for people on here..
  2. They might work, but might make it look a bit like a Porsche from the side with that spoiler
  3. It will, clay will remove even the most caked on tar so will remove emulsion on top of laquer. Just don't be scared
  4. Furthest i've done is 700 in a weekend, averaged 31mpg including a days worth of city driving in Cardiff. Easily achievable at those speeds.

    ARC Bankrupt

Had an ARC TMIC for my old car, was a excellent piece of kit. Shame but as others have said, not suprised considering the economy, yen rate and their prices.

    wheel spacers.

Why not just get the spacers like many have suggested which retain the standard bolts and basically are a piece of cake to fit
  7. Many cars have issues with the sensors failing, i'm glad my car doesn't have them fitted TBH just another gimmick. Pretty obvious when a tyre is low from the feel of the car

    Lada with a VQ35...

Guy has skills, unsure about the rear mount turbo though. Engine wont fit? No problem just cut through the firewall and have the gearbox sat next to you
  9. As Ekona says, reduce the intake length to a turbo mounted inches away from the engine and you will see alot better response. Add a turbo thats rear mounted with intercooler piping thats long as hell and you are going to get massive lag. Fair enough its a 3.5 litre engine so it could still spool a smallish turbo pretty fast that length away, but as I said in that video, listen to when the turbo starts spooling and when it hits full boost. Its not till wayy up in the rev range. I can't imagine it makes for a nice drive unless your WOT everywhere, as it will remove the effortless driving of the vq
  10. Seems to spool at about 6k from that vid
  11. There is no 'set' minutes, you should always wait till the oil is up to temperature before even considering taking the engine near the redline. As you will have seen as standard they do not have an oil temp gauge, but typically once the oil pressure level sits just over 60 at 60-70mph~ the oil is up to temperature.
  12. Admiral use Albany to cover the legal side of things, and should always provide a like for like car
  13. Uk is 80 litre's, JDM tend to have a 70 litre tank, although one of the JDM spec levels has a 80 litre tank apparently.
  14. Whats the point in filling it up soon as it starts showing DTE , theres another 5/6 litres or more in the tank even when it gets to --!

    Front Brakes

If they were 75% worn in August and you don't do 30k a year then they won't need changing yet.
  16. Cloning is the only one tbh. The other info can easily be accessed regarding model, when your tax is due etc by going on the dvla site.. as for being insured or not, well www.askmid.com etc.. I can't imagine many 350Z's get cloned if any
  17. It will be Harratts i'm guessing, only Nissan dealer in wakefield to my knowledge
  18. What bridgestones RE050a or RE040a?
  19. In for some work doing, anyones on here?
  20. Some have VDC and/or the viscous diff and some don't too.
  21. That would work unless like myself you live in the middle of nowhere "Yeah heres two tyres, back in 45 mins with the other two"
  22. You can fit 4 18" tyres in a Z, even with the spare wheel in situe. Two in the boot, one on the passenger footwell vertical at a slight angle and one on the passenger seat. If you remove the spare, you should be able to get 3 in the boot but not tried this. That price sounds a little bit higher than normal, does it include balancing? I'm guessing there will be a premium for mobile fitting depends if you definitely want it doing mobile.
