    Fuel Problem??

If your emptying a standard UK full tank in 200 miles and you arn't driving like a hero everywhere then something is up other than the cold temperatures!
  2. No problem, I think you can get "beam benders" from halfords etc which stick onto the outside of the light to convert it.. But i'm sure thats not the look your going for
  3. The lights will be angled the wrong way due to the US driving on the other side of the road than us. The led tail lamps will fit fine.
  4. Similar experience as Darren on a sliproad the other night in the Z, mild acceleration in 2nd onto A1, back end decided it wanted to come say Hi to the front, caught it but woke me up put it that way!
  5. 1 way (Acceleration only) viscous diff, all the aftermarket ones are 1.5 way or 2 way.
  6. I agree with Ian, 9k for the car with the GT pack as long as everything else is fine with it is a good deal
  7. Certainly looks like a form of wheel chock
  8. No, in terms of 4x staff was more meaning the clerical staff. As for pay, well my current job in IT and also similar IT roles seem to be 6-8k more than the average. Could just be NHS IT though.
  9. Well of course, they cant get you into work and then tell you to make your own way home Nothing wrong with saying they will come and pick you up (just make sure its on their time) but they have to get you back again! Chris..have u seen my profile..i am a NHS slave..it's the NHS we are talking about..they overwork and underpay u..that's what they are good at. Spoke to Human Resources in Derby hospital and i ask them..how do i get back tomorrow then? The reply was..we haven't thought as far as that. And i have waited for 5 hours for this 4X4..still no sign of it..and the weather is getting worse by the hours... Not meaning to start an argument, but everytime i've ever been to hospital there seems to be 4x the staff they really need to do one job, and also.. every time I've seen an NHS job advertised its way above the average pay for the same role outside the NHS Might just be Yorkshire though..

    Snow socks

This has made my mind up, on an RX8. Ignore the annoying woman.

    Snow socks

I'm weighing up the autosock ones or a set of snow chains. My journey to work consists of 6 miles of country lanes which, theres no chance of any tarmac being visible. Just reports of people saying socks are easier to get on whilst others say chains are... Hmm!
  13. Wheel Specialist are the best around Yorkshire at least if not further a field, I know the owners of the Leeds one personally and can confirm their quality is second to none.
  14. Yep, Looking at my statement from Shell I got today it states "At least 1 point per litre for normal Shell fuels, and double points for Shell Vpower fuels"

    Change 2 or all 4?

Although I am not actually looking forward to winter with my 452's! Couldn't agree more to that, I wish I had paid the extra what.. £100 and got RE050A's over Falkens.. Live and learn eh

    Change 2 or all 4?

I'd stick with the RE050A's over falkens..
  17. Just googled it. Doesn't look that special?
  18. I had no problems with them to be honest, yes they don't grip the best in the wet but I have no intention of driving the same in the wet as dry. However they were easily predictable and the sidewalls were rock solid which I really miss with the falkens.. too squishy like Toyos etc. Edit: Dblock, tried upto 40 psi and the sidewalls are still soft. Entering corners at any pace in the dry and the car almost does a double entry in whilst the sidewalls roll to absorb.. they grip well don't get me wrong but the feeling is not nice.
  19. Quick question for people who have had both. Are the 50's sidewalls still as stiff as the 40's? Hopefully the answer will be yes, as really want to go back to stiff sidewalls because these falkens are just not for me
  20. All my local stations are doing the promotion, cheers for the heads up.. Now I wonder if I can make it to friday without filling up
  21. They are naturally heavy compared to say a van. I find mine spot on, but one of my previous cars had a 2 puk paddle clutch so was literally on and off with nothing in between what so ever, so the 350z is a welcome change Sure its fine, if its not slipping and the biting point isn't right at the top then you have nothing to worry about really
  22. Are you sure it hasnt had an uprated/paddle clutch fitted since you had it, they are notorious for being heavy and very hard to slip so feel like they are on / off. If the clutch was on its way out it would be the opposite and slipping.
  23. Gear changes on the Z are heavy and take awhile to get used to if your not familiar with them, as for the other things give another one a test drive. The ride is in my opinion a touch too soft not harsh and the cabin noise is average for a coupe running on 18' wheels. Maybe it was just a dog, wouldn't rule them out based on one test drive
  24. Had a Toad ai606 fitted on a Glanza V I imported and had absolutely no problems, steer clear of clifford you pay for the name which isn't even that good!
