So I'm currently on the hard shoulder in the zed on the M3 awaiting pick up as the EML just came on. Tried the pedal dance to reset the ecu but it just keeps coming back on. My question is when the rac pick me up do I need to get them to put the rear wheels on rollers as its RWD to stop it knackering up anything?

Id personally go for a second opinion somewhere else. The manifolds (is what I'm taking it you meant as downpipes) are cast so can't see them being rusted through. Also they're a nightmare job to change.

I've had a 156 and my dad has had 2 and all have been superb. Nothing has played up and can't knock them at all. I'd definitely have one over the German equivalents

I also remember this from back then. IIRC the "aero" bolted to it was literally home-made and just bolted to it because the owner had seen something used that looked similar rather than because it actually does anything or researched in any form at all; so any aero on that car that's functional is purely by luck rather than design, let alone being beneficial to the aero. Yeah it was a Haynes manual on aerodynamics wasn't it lol

I've got a K&N typhoon, seems pretty good to me apart from the carbon lid rattles a bit. also i couldn't fit the full air duct as it clashes with my oil cooler but cant blame k&n for that.

I've spent £2600 on head gaskets on my Mrs' peugoet 207 in just over a year. I'm still half tempted to set the bastard thing on fire!!

Agree about the price, but the power and age are correct aren't they, they went on sale in 2002 in Japan and can get imports of that age over here.
