  1. Some cracking advice there, cheers fellas - really tempted with the BB I had looked on ebay with a view to buying an Iphone handset, sticking an Orange sim in it, but they are ludicrously over priced as you say and I'd also heard things about Apple being able to remotely 'kill' your phone. Again I'd assume this is utter b*ll*cks but I'd still be miffed if I'd paid all that and the thing went wrong... T-Mobile are offering me the curve 8900 in the list of upgrades, but think I'll look at the Bold 9700 as i like the keyboard I think...
  2. And so it begins! You'll never look back; fitted mine about 3 weeks ago, same set up i.e. 20/25 and it looks fantastic
  3. Interesting points, have heard of a few issues with Iphone freezing actually - a mates had one literally a month and it froze. I mean the I want an all rounder - my current tariff charges for mobile browsing, so i'll be moving to at least a new tarif anyway, I'm wanting access to things like Facebook, hotmail, 350z-uk.com of course , then other handy bits like snow reports when we go boarding... Do blackberry / HTC also offer those sorts of apps, and work well? Sorry I've not really handled them properly, just had a look in shops...
  4. Ooh good call on the Blackberry - never thought of that but I do like the look of them Some really mixed opinions there but I think I can safely write the 'patio' and N900 off from that... New dilema now! As Stan says, it seems everyone who has the Iphone literally won't have anything else, it's the best thing since sliced bread as far as they're concerned, but same goes with Blackberry... it's very 'Them and Us' Decisions!!!
  5. Before you do bud, try www.quidco.com - i use it as I book hotel rooms & train tickets a lot with work, and you get a minimal percentage cash back paid into your account every month, but when buying something big you often get a big lump sum back! Quick search, they're offering £50 back: http://www.quidco.com/orange/
  6. OK so for the past month or so I've been pondering the Iphone 3GS, as I'm due either an upgrade or to end my contract on 13th Feb... Now, I'm with T-Mobile so it's a no-go for an upgrade to an Iphone as of course they don't do them, so to go elsewhere means paying a contribution to the handset (minimum £90), signing up to a 18 or 24 month contract for around £35pm. But, what else is out there? Do I really want to jump on the Apple bandwagon?? I've narrowed it down to the 3 handsets detailed in the poll. They all have their faults; Iphone has sh*t camera, Satio runs Symbian, and N900 has a Kwerty keyboard and hence always landscape... I have to say at the moment I'm leaning more towards the N900 though, looks quite nice and 32GB! I use a cashback site, and there's always deals such as £60 cashback from Orange when buying Iphone, which would soften the blow a little, but still... Anyone any suggestions / comments?
  7. Spacing wise, I went 20mm eibach on the fronts, but I went for 25mm on the rears and I'm glad I did - it fills the arches wonderfully But I like big butts, and I can not lie
  8. Work - whatever they've given me..? Home - Sony Vaio FE28B, 3yrs old, never missed a beat, does what I need it to i.e. work, t'interweb and music. Dream Machine - something like on Minority Report, if you've seen the film? Though most of the time I couldn't give a sh*t. I just want it to work!
  9. This is great, I'll be using this soon...
  10. 24, young & single - what better car to have in my situation?? Plus I previously had the GTTDI Golf and was desi driver everywhere, mates took full advantage... not anymore!
  11. I joined the queue at Sainsburys today... 107p
  12. Get her Fiberglass / Carbon Fibre moulding and bang out some zed bits! Tis something I want to have a bash at this year...
  13. I've thought about it, if anything for the fact it brings insurance down a bit, but for the time being I'm making do with a disklock, car keys in my bedside drawer and a baseball bat for any f*cker who dares
  14. think I've started something; See what you find and get 'em posted!
  15. Seems Google Earth has been updated quite recently... and here we have my Zed parked at work! Clearly mine, seen as if we've no visitors scheduled I take two spaces
  16. Not me I'm afraid Nix, someone obviously likes my style enough to copy Although I was braving the conditions on Friday, Sideways action all the way
  17. Sounds... interesting... Almost like a lonely hearts post Sorry dude!
  18. I ran pirelli pzeros on my golf and they were absolutely MINT that thing stuck like glue. Never thought about letting the pressure out - good tip! Haven't been able to move for 4 days, may give it a shot
  19. I've noticed my drivers side is a bit 'clanking', whereas my passegner one isn't - so as if it's just been used less. Which makes me wonder if the rubber seals on either side of the glass need replacing, as it does tend to rattle very very slightly if my windows are open a bit - thought it was my wing mirror but thinking otherwise now...
  20. Will need some myself before long (fronts aren't looking too good). However, still got the same tyres as when I bought it in May, that being a mix of I think a falken and Ventus sheeeite, and yet between myself and my FWD friends I'm the only one who didn't whimper at the snow today and made it to work! Granted, I had to spin round having gotten stuck on a few hills, but got there eventually... F@nnys, no messing!
  21. We're on a Stag doo in July, looking at somewhere Eastern Bloc, which immediately bring cold, snow, ice, vodka to mind i.e. Russia, but in fact some Croatian resorts are really cut out for lads weekends away; cheap ale, good weather and GORGEOUS women Anyway, just booked Sauze D'Oulx in Italy for snowboarding in 6 weeks time (actually fly out on my 25th Bday), though in hindsight we could've just stayed here!!! Been there twice and love it Then in March, parents are in Tenerife over dads 60th with all friends in a luxury hotel, i'm flying out with a buddy on the very day to suprise him probably give him a heart attack, 60th in Tin'o'beef A&E 2010 is looking good. Might need a last min jobby october / november, for some winter sun too Banff looks stunning Husky, almost booked a boarding trip there but just missed out!
  22. Nice TT, love the colour, bit of a marmite colour on the TT is red, either love it or hate it but I think that looks Nothing wrong with the german 'DUB' scene, I have previous there too Check my album, think I've got my old Golf on there somewhere
  23. Looking good, I too think the side edges go up a bit too far so good to see a custom job. Had considered pinging an offer in for this myself when it was up for graps, but I'm a real novice with the fibre glass so best start off small first... Look forward to seeing it done
