  1. Only tricky thing is the fact they have the spinning outer collar, had a similar problem on my Golf but different type of locking nuts and managed by tapping on a slightly smaller socket...
  2. Aye, not the end of the world and do-able, but just a pi$$er aint it!
  3. Having recently acquired 20mm spacers for front & 25mm for rears (from Husky & Carbon Forza, respectably, thanks ) thought what better day than a bank hol to stick them on. So round to dads to do in thge garage, first front on on no probs: Without: With: .... but then, when trying to get the driver side off, wheel nuts absolutely seized solid so I'm guessing they weren't greased last time the wheel was off. Gave the wheel brace an encouraging tap with a wheel brace, absolutely fine! Then came the locking nut, also seized tight... oops: and worse still: Now what!!?? Local charlie browns always sort me out, know the lad there, but he's sceptical about trying to chisel the casing away. Gonna call by Nissan tomorrow morning to see if they have a master set (they're Nissan supplied McGuard nuts), to at least just bang the standard nuts on or get a new set. In the meantime, I can't remove the one spacer I have fitted as the key is broken, so I have a staggered, or staggering car Also F00ked should i get a puncture. Anyone else had this happen to them??
  4. +1 True monster in the snow Then again - Bowler Nemesis If you don't know, google it
  5. Thats because loads of people will make new years resolutions about getting fit next year. Out of 100 people only 5 or so at most will stick to it. I'm at work too - and tomorrow (and next week). Yep, I am actually working away whilst occassionally checking this site. Oh god yeah not looking forward to the January Gym rush; it's packed every night / you can't get on anything with all the part time gym'ers / full time numpties. I wanna say face it you'll last a month - don't even bother, fatty. Too harsh? Anyway back onto topic, yeah I'm at work still, half day tomorrow and that's me done for 2009. Oh, I'll be working the bar in town tho...
  6. + 1 Gradually over time the show has become predictable. When the show started to change so it appealled to non-petrolheads there were geniune mistakes by the presenters that made it funny; obviously the producers cottoned on to the fact this boosts ratings and now make the presenters act 90% of the time. I enjoy the show, but get fed up with a huge ambitious tasks they undertake. I enjoy the tasks themselves, but always know it's going to "end in disaster" (yawn). I wanna see stuff like them genuinly enter racing competitions (such as when they drove the diesel beamer) because you can't really act in it and is genuine (or very very close to real). I love the famous Stelvio trip as it had a real sense of adventure to it (also made thousands of others try it out). I'm all for seeing Zonda's, Lambo's, etc burning around the track, but I also want to know about the latest hot hatches & sports cars too. Oh - and semi can the "Star in a reasonably priced car". They've pretty much done everyone worthy of it and I would rather see 1 extra car review than an interview from celebrity X (if I want this, I'll watch Jonathan Ross). Overall, I feel it's a 7/10 show. It used to be 10/10. Think you have worded it perfectly there - maybe the producers can read your comment +1 absolutely agree. To my mind... time for at least Clarkson & Hamster to hang their coats up (I like Captain Slow, he can stay for me), and entree new presenters..? My CV's in the post Plus hamster needs to cut his f*cking wig. Think he took a fair old bump to the head when he crashed that rocket car.
  7. +1 for the JDM, but centred like Anubis'sss
  8. Me likey: http://www.zcarblog.com/for-sale/2004-s ... z-show-car
  9. GUTTED it's Xmas, I'd snap them up! Though I'd have the spokes done GM I reckon...
  10. ... I can't wait to see next years Xmas compilation albums; "Every Xmas Number 1"?
  11. very festive! Me too Nurish, or at least I will Xmas day when I get said ipod - finally bitten the bullet! Just need an FM transmitter now, anyone any suggestions...? Sorry sorry i'm going I just love the smirk on Zach's face just before he starts swearing, despite promising not to. What did they expect, it's the whole point behind the song / behind Rage!!
  12. I kinda disagree - yes Sony BMG are ultimately the winners, but Rage have said much of the royalties will be going to their 'Shelter' charity, which have already had £65000 in donations from the public in response to the campaign. It's been good PR for Rage, putting them back on the map, and gives the 'silent majority' public a sense of control again... albeit probably a false sense I'm happy because I love RATM, and loathe having to listen to Radio 1 brainwashing with the same drab 3 or 4 times a day (we have the radio on at work all day and it's more a pain than a perk at times)
  13. *eagery awaiting the UK gigs!!*
  14. I'm no expert bud, but my ESP is useless trying to set off in snow / ice, I actually turn mine off to get going then put it back on when in motion. I guess as soon as the car senses loss of traction, it cuts the power, and you get nowhere! Turn it off, the sideways action is fun
  15. that FTO is sweet as. Always loved the look of that car, much like the RX-7 & Supra; well kept they seem to defy signs of ageing

  17. They've come all the way from USA mate, shieldsie on here sorted me out with them as his brother lives in the states and was coming over for Xmas - otherwise i'd have had to pay shipping / possible import duties. They're from I think 'CourtesyParts.com', usually around $100 but just so happened they were on offer half price too, so another bonus for me! I think the offer's still on www.courtesyparts.com As far as i can fathom there's nowhere else doing them, and not normally cheap for what they are, i was lucky though!
  18. Certainly will! Some 20mm going on the front courtesy of the K9 that is Husky, and some Z centres to fit while i'm there. Nice job for the happy holidays i reckon
  19. I'm sick of mine, planning a new HU hopefully mid next year, but i've taken the plunge with Ipod & FM transmitter for Xmas for now, that'll do me nicely for the time being
  20. Ah well, still going for it, gonna have a WIDE ASS!! Baby Got Back

    Spoilers

Hi Amy, personally i think the smooth rear looks mint on the zed, particularly if it's low with fat wheels. Then again i'm a former Vee-dubber so it's built into me
  22. Sorted, cheers guys Carbon Forza, you'll have a PM in a min...
