  1. Hey, interested in the spacers, 2 sets so 4 spacers yeah? Are 30mm OK for all four corners on Rays? cheers Nick
  2. Thanks guys - turns out it's code P0144, oxy sensor! Had to go out at lunch anyway so nipped to local dealer and they cleared the code, booked me in for Friday to look at it, hopefully it's fine though / not a permanent code as it's not come back on.
  3. There's a K1 going cheap, if your ears can take it! viewtopic.php?f=32&t=30660
  4. Hi rtbuscuit, Nope i'm afraid I don't know anyone with a reader, but I didn't realise the ECU reset gave the fault code - I'll give that a bash, thanks! Where's it show the code? Is this the correct procedure? (taken from google search) ECU Resetting Procedures Timing is extremely critical. If it is NOT DONE within the specify time, the ECU will not reset and the Check Engine Light (CEL) will continue to remain ON. A stop watch or an analog clock with a second’s needle will be useful. Operations Procedures 1. Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch “ON†and wait 3 seconds. 2. Repeat the following steps (2a and 2b) procedures quickly five times within 5 seconds. 2a. Fully depress the accelerator pedal (HARD). 2b. Fully release the accelerator pedal. 3. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 10 seconds until the CEL starts blinking. 4. Fully release the accelerator pedal (while the CEL is still blinking) 5. Wait about 10 second. 6. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for more than 10 seconds. 7. Fully release the accelerator pedal (The CEL light will continue to blink). 8. Turn ignition switch to “OFF†position and now you can start the car. The CEL light should be gone. If the CEL light continues to remain ON, repeat the above steps. Timing is EXTREMELY critical to resetting the ECU.
  5. ... so looks like my 1st trip to Wakefield Nissan - anyone had any experience of them? Don't know what it could be, engine seems to be running smooth, no roughness or juddering, power seems to be there (though I'm toddling around really since the light came on last night). Typical though, just before Xmas and it wants some TLC (Tender Loving Cash).
  6. Wow, not so much as a response... thought that'd get a few hackles up! I do agree the rear bumper isn't the best fit though, bet it was a pain to fit and could be smoother, but i like the black bit between exhaust tips
  7. I love the kit! That said, I can't stand the VS kit, that white one a couple of threads ago looks like this: Personally, along with my former passion for the smooth 'dub' look (also a few threads ago), I like the subtle, but smoothed & slammed look. Don't like big wings on the back, grills, gills & vents etc.
  8. That's GORGEOUS If we didn't have the sheeeeite roads we have, I'd be rolling like that!
  9. I love the VDub scene too, mate currently shows a Beetle he's been working on on the side... Had my beloved MK4 for about 5 years before getting the Zed... It was mint, but I haven't looked back (then again I'm at the bloody pumps a lot more now!) Sorry huge pics i know!
  10. GM - I'm biased Looks different from daylight to nightlight, and easy to keep clean. I like chilli red too tho...

    Front Grill

Yep, I've got one: Haven't the foggiest where it came from though, was on when I got the car! I think there's a Germany based site doing them, can't remember the link I think it's on my PC at work... Will have a look in the morning...
  13. PM'd Twice, as I missread your post, sorry
  14. My parents got a full on cinema setup in the lounge this time last year, all built in and false walls etc... (it's mint!), so I inhereted their old DVD surround system and it does just the job. I get sound in through all 3 as follows: PS3 - HDMI lead running PS3-TV, for audio optical lead running PS3-DVD (select 'Digital In' on auxilary inputs) For Sky / TV I have scart from DVD-SKY, then Sky-TV, all seems to work! Also got a spare RCA to standard jack to plug an MP3 or laptop into (but obsolete now since everything runs wirelessly from laptop to PS3)
  15. Ah balls, I've been bidding one this too really i want a Varis though, but price is
  16. Panasonic Viera absolutley TV's, dad got the 42" one installed and very impressed
  17. I picked up a Sony Bravia HD LCD for an absolute steal from TVsDirect or DirectTVs (one or the other, based in Huddersfield). Compared to the list price in Argos I think I saved around £500
  18. I quite like it too Not for 150 brick though
  19. If you're still uncertain, easy way to check if you're not a dog; try licking your own b@lls sorry, lowering the tone, I know
