  1. Spotted on the way back from a curry saturday evening although a bit of a cheat but it made me smile and immediately think of this brilliant thread. Although I did swallow a fly almost immediately afterwards
  2. Best of luck! There's a guy in our office who's mid way through his LEJOG challenge, he's doing it on a tandem with his wife. It's helping him achieve his milage targets as he's constantly peddalling faster to get away from her
  3. A photoshop debate has been had. (but search is broken) Some say yay some nay. Surely it has to be, the snow is still fresh on the hard shoulder and if you look in the wing mirror again no tracks or debris thrown up... anyway amusing picture
  4. I cant say anything right now, my exhausts are looking a little sooty. Hopefully be resolved in the next couple of weeks when I have time and space. But yes I do believe we are talking about the same vehicle
  5. If it's a blond lady who works at Charlies in Queenferry, save the card she has a few of them from Jetset and me. Yeah I believe when I've seen this before it's been a blonde lady ahhh well no BBQ invite to them then
  6. that sounds bl00dy awesome! Yeah thats the car, i've spotted it a few times before then i noticed it parked in a drive further up the street. I'm "between" places right now, my other half is based in Saltney until the house is ready so I'm either there or at my parents place in whitby. I work on the business park though and spot Carla driving past my window most days. My new place will be on Westminster Park so the Zed will be used less during the week. He's in dire need of some TLC right now just having got the time. Should have a drive and garage in a few weeks though so will be able to give him a proper bath - he's a male according to my girlfriend Spotted blahblahblah earlier but that doesnt count as he was parked up in work
  7. Ive not seen this one yet so Possibly just picked up hence the nervousness? I've yet to spot you either There is a JDM red further up the street from my new house. Yet to pluck up the courage to flyer
  8. Spotted what I believe to be a Twighlight Grey 370 on a private plate **DOM just by the railway bridge heading towards Broughton. I'm sure I've seen the tail end of you a couple of times now. Looked lovely and didnt wave as was in the other halfs car heading into town and onto John Lewis Home down the Greyhound Park.
  9. Good luck! Hope to see it cruising past my office window soon! EDIT: With drive obviously
  10. Mine was fine all day yesterday, not working this morning. It is a pain but it's not the end of the world. I have a BB on Vodafone for work so it doesnt impact me from that side of things..... shame as I was hoping for a similar BB outage as last year But I do feel for the smaller businesses where their phone is their call center, I'm having work done on my new house and i'm sure i've missed calls from various tradesmen to arrange visits etc so even if their phone is okay they could be losing work because the potential customer only gave a mobile number which is on o2 As i said a small distraction for me but I dont rely on mine to earn a crust. Now I wonder if the issue was caused by a newly recruited IT bod from RBS By the way, I am in IT so I do feel for the poor b*gg3rs.
  11. I took this one in Singapore a couple of years back, still makes me laugh.
  12. It looks a half decent product at a price point that may pull potential customers away from the MS surface tablet as the entry point offering is supposed to be priced competitivly with the iPAD. the screens on both products are 7" and this seems a little small to me however I'll reserve judgement until i've had the opportunity to have a play. Oh and as far as "Nexus" is concerned I automatically think Cisco.... EDITED: The "surface" is a bigger screen so not much of a comparison at all, dont know where i got 7" from... probably the Kindle Fire
  13. Brilliant thats still makes me laugh
  14. I hear what you're saying (no pun intended) but I would seriously struggle to hear mine when it's on the drive and I'm inside the house.... in public places I agree the only person going to take any notice is going to be me... if i'm in hearing distance (within 30m or so) that is.
  15. Thanks M13KYF and Coldel for the info. I suspected there wouldnt be an option and it may not be unique to my car. I can now see lots of owners going outside to set their alarms off
  16. Do you mean you've not heard of an option to adjust or the fact it's quiet? Thankfully it's soon to become a weekend only car and will be garaged so it will become less of an issue.... just never thought to test it in the last 2 years and was quite appalled at how quiet the thing is. I appreciate you taking a look and posting
  17. Hi, Firstly I have searched and couldnt find an answer so apologies if this question irritates a few people Anyway, does anyone know if it's possible to increase the volume on the alarm siren? The reason I ask is I often leave the car with the roof down when popping into the shops or on the drive way however the other day I locked it with the girlfriend still inside who then set it off and the alarm was barely audible. The car is an MY06 UK Roadster with factory fitted security if it makes any difference.
  18. I havent seen the z4 around town or the business park yet. Enjoy the new car shopping, sometimes the best bit
  19. Isn't the founder of MoneySupermarket (simon whats his face, see him in M&S often) an old school chump of Martin lewis? Ex Kings school pupils.....
  20. Just watched the video. It must be soul destroying for you but I'm sure with the bargains the traders here offer I really hope you can get her back on the road!
  21. Some fantastic pictures and that yacht also caught my attention and had to google it.... the Maltese Falcon http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Maltese_Falcon_(yacht)
  22. Interesting, I had mine swapped out about 1k ago now and noticed the same at times. Wasnt sure if it was me or something else but the OH has also noticed it too and had been meaning to get the linkage alignment checked. The guide looks very simple so will give it a bash at the weekend. Thanks Coldel and I hope it fixes your issue too LordGrover
  23. if I knew what your daily drive looked like I'm sure i'd spot you more Always look out for the locals, not seen Squee but do see Carla's (usually from my office window) and the Azure coupe on a private plate (never waves). However if the OH is in the car I'm a little shy as she calls me a daft sod for waving Oh and OP I'm not sure "Shorts and Tie" is a good look and probably why they havent acknowledged it's them
  24. Good picture Pete I went to Saltney to see it unfortunately far too many people I had to hold my camera in the air and click in hopeful mode... I ahve a nice picture of the bearers feet LOL I know a few people who had tickets to the race course last night, already lots of pictures on Flickr oh and we could see the fireworks and hear the announcements from the racecourse in Saltney Awesome sight
  25. I was going to suggest Endinburgh as there's lots to see and do however it sounds like you want more of an "Active" break rather than sightseeing.
